'I don't really know what to title the first entry for this week, so I guess I'll wing it' on The Positive Hedgehog

So yes, remember when I said that I was going to do an exclusive DJ Sonic show locally on Sonic 95.5 on the 17th before The Rabbit Hole? Well, that never even materialized since I was going on some erratic sleep patterns again, so that was 'fake news' and I am sorry about that. Now, for this morning, and this part will be exciting for Boomer and I, and Ricochet? Tune this part out, ok? I know you don't like radio frequencies. Block your ears or something because I will talk about it...

After you guys signed off, I tried something with the CZH (the twin one, but I will call it CZH from now on) transmitter. I don't really know what I did at first, but I think I was pushing the up and down buttons and after 95.50, it went down to 76.00 even when I pushed the up button, so I thought of something since I really wanted to have the North American FM band range from 87.5 to 107.9 MHz, and before I managed to do that, I managed to go as high as 153 MHz to as low as 0 MHz. So yeah, in between there, I had to mess with H and L, and that meant lots unplugging and plugging while the power button was pressed down. I think what I did was went to 107.9 and then turned it off and then I think it got stored in memory, 87.5 to 107.9, when I plugged it in again while holding the power button and it's still on H. I forgot really the method on how to do it, so I gather I might be messing around with it again on a later date and then jotting down eat step.

I also did go to McDonald's for breakfast. Not right away, no, but at around 10am. Ordered too much, as usual, so I asked for a bag. Those sausage McWraps are so tasty, but they are filling. It did not help any that I had 4 hash browns. I took the remainder McGriddle buns home with me.

He might do things a little differently with you, alright?

'Saturday morning ramblings' on The Positive Hedgehog

March 23rd - Now, on Thursday, the 21st, I was really treated good with going to a sugar shack with my dad and some of our friends. I ate lots and couldn't go for the toffee on snow, but that's okay. On the 22nd I ate sushi for lunch, and lots of it. $20 was the price and the way I ate, sheesh, it should have been $50 easily, rofl. After that I went on to do an almost 6-hour Nuit Blanche during the day, and it was a lousy day on top of it, raining all day. I bought some snacks and a few Diet Pepsis to help me stay awake, and it's working. Almost 19 hours that I have stayed awake now. I will just plop to bed when I get tired, that's all, and I know a very good way to get myself tired *hint hint*.

I won't do much today, and when Sunday and Monday rolls around, Sonic 95.5 will have Romeo, you Boomer, and Ricochet on yet again. Oh yeah, I did some DJing on Sonic for a couple of hours on Friday. I am excited for Mont-Tremblant and the new transmitter since I might really be able to hear it very well around the small lake that I frequent often when I am in Mont-Tremblant. Sure, there might be some interference on some US stations, but I think my signal on 91.7 FM will come in good since I am relaying Scranton's VMFM 91.7 on 91.7 FM (that is I will put the transmitter on 91.70 MHz) and when I feel like DJing during the evening, either Friday night and/or Saturday night, the frequency will be 98.7 FM. The little transmitter will be at 100.9 FM for SiriusXM, so I now have THREE FM frequencies to deal with, lol.

This coming week, there will be a surprise for you all, so stay tuned.

'6am while listening to Doggy Radio go overtime because of last week's blog' on The Positive Hedgehog

About that Alix Henriol, don't worry about her, she was VERY hardcore about Sonic, even more than me, but really sick because she was wanting to eat his vomit, drink his blood and piss. Sorry for urking all of you. She said she was going to marry Sonic... she was MAD, and totally disgusting. She changed everything about her and hate everything about Sonic now, but the damage is done. Her reputation has been ruined, and all the procedures that she went through is making her health dwindle. I don't know why she is on imdb, but imdb has her as 32... and it's like I ran her out of office at 41! Now, all the attention is going to ME now, but I have a different take on everything because Sonic is my sweetie. Yeah, I know he's male... SO WHAT?!

On a better note, I may get my FM transmitter, that Boomer sent me, later on today. It was in Jamaica (New York (Long Island to be more precise) and not the island Jamaica in the Caribbean) at 11:34am for the longest time. Tracking is not available in Canada, but that's okay. As of right now, at 6:18 in the morning, USPS still says it's in Jamaica... and is in transit... so I'll see.

'New FM transmitter' on The Positive Hedgehog

It's a shame that 99.1 FM was taken away from Boomer. He still has 87.9, but he could have chosen a much higher frequency like ... nope I see on Radio Locator that the 87.9 frequency is the only one that is great for using. Anyway, I am getting ahead of myself here. I will be rebranding my slogan for my other FM transmitter as 'SXM 102.3 FM'. Sonic 95.5 FM is gonna fly, I can tell you that! The opening song was 'Here Without You' by Three Doors Down. Now I am playing Husky Loops. I need to see if I can take my walkman around the place outside to see how far I'll be able to hear the signal for. It's a nice day right now, so I guess now is a better time than later since weather can change rapidly. I have my main laptop volume at 60% with the knob at uni (half way between min and max). Better go right now. I will have a full report in a bit when I come back. Boomer also gave me a nice Sonic Surprise. Wow oh boy, my signal is loud and I turned it down a bit. I will leave my main laptop volume at 60% though. Anyway *ahem* you'll see what Boomer gave me. I better go for that test.

And what a nice 25-minute walk I had. I will have to say half the block now receives my signal. Now, as I told Boomer, I will do another walk around the area where the signal goes, and see if there's any change to the signal. I had to dodge some ice patches this time. Before while I was doing my test, I was playing music that I heard on other radio stations, but now (started at 4:20pm, SMOKE 'EM IF YOU GOT 'EM) I am playing music I got from listening to Doggy Radio. As of right now, I got 93 songs from Boomer, and that's really good actually! I am celebrating with a beer! Cheers to you, Boomer The Dog! You've made this hedgehog pretty happy here. And with the Sonic movie slowly coming up, it will be even better! Anyway, that's all for now. Boomer may show the pictures that I sent him, but that's up to him.

On October 13rd of last year, he was showing me proof that he was broadcasting my show via his 87.9 FM so that others may listen to my show as well, and maybe he had it on 'H' for a wider-listening audience in his area of Green Tree. I don't know if he puts it on 'L' when it's time for Doggy Radio so it's only for him and so that AM 690 could take the lead and go far a wide. Anyway, with all that being said, yeah I can see why his audio knob is not in the middle... a bit more left than the middle. Come to think of it, I am thinking that the computer that has 87.9 FM attached is at 60% for the main volume. Yeah, I can see if I put the audio knob in the middle, certain songs of mine would get over-modulated. It's best to turn it down a bit so it doesn't do that and the listening audience to my station can turn up 95.5 on their stereo systems to hear it more properly. I may even bring the *NEW* Sonic 95.5 FM to the Action Center one of these days and split the signal between Shawn and I. I have a signal splitter for audio. Anyway, that's all for now.

And it seems that I was dead wrong. He has it on 'H' also for Doggy Radio since I did remember him a while ago say that the local police station gets 87.9. I mean Boomer reminded me in an E-Mail, but this was wayyyy back, I'm talking like a few months ago. Since we're both on 'H', and I don't know how low 'L' goes, well I guess I don't have to know. 'H' can also mean Horny, lol. Horny Sonic 95.5? Hmm? Nah, that will never fly, hehe.

'The DJ Sonic Show on Sonic 95.5 FM & SXSW' on The Positive Hedgehog

First off, my show was great on Friday evening, and the *NEW* Sonic 95.5 FM really was rockin' with my music. There weren't any hiccups in my stream at all, and I am happy for that, and I announced "Sonic 95.5 and Boomer The Dog Radio 87.9" on my stream, and sometimes I announced "Sonic and Doggy". I left out the 95 part since I now have both 95 and 95.5, so I just cut it short to "Sonic" and I am okay with this. Since Boomer is going to perhaps bring my show to a small population in his area via 87.9 FM, I guess I will keep on saying "Sonic and Doggy" on every show I do.

Now, with that said, the South By SouthWest panel was okay, but I was hoping for news about the Sonic movie... never ever got any news, but they did say to be on the lookout between March 16th and the day it finally hits theaters. I may have a Nuit Blanche on Sunday, but I am not sure since it's very close to my furry programming and I wanna get things started by doing an *EXCLUSIVE* DJ show on my station by 8pm until it's time for The Rabbit Hole. There will be a wider range of people to Sonic 95.5 FM, so Romeo, and you guys are gonna be great on my new station.

'Monday night ramblings' on The Positive Hedgehog

Well, tomorrow is the Action Center for this hedgehog DJ, and I will try to go in the morning this time to spend the morning there doing my stuff, maybe sampling some more music, or just go on my TuneIn app to maybe get a few more songs for the exercise class (as if I don't have enough, lol).

Anyway, Boomer and I have been boofing about Froggy frequencies... 104.3 and 105.5 actually. Where he actually is (WaSonic Road, NO I will definitely not give out Boomer's road, for his own security), he can get the 40-watt 105.5 translator of that Froggy 104.3 pretty clearly, and I told him that if I visited there, maybe I would be able to get 104.3, and the 105.5 translator. I love radio like Boomer. Holy moly, if I was there, he could teach me how to build a big FM transmitter, or AM, but yeah I am a hedgehog into Stereo sounding stations, and AM Stereo isn't want everyone has these days.

I just wrote to Andrea and Shawn that I will not be in today, being Tuesday, since I have stuff to do in the overnight hours and during the day, but not only that, but I like the longer DJ sessions with Shawn and I on Fridays. I only get 2 hours on Tuesdays whereas I get 4 more hours added on Fridays.

Short entries, and I may keep them like that for this week. I will see.

I got up at 5:12 after I went to bed at 11:22pm on Tuesday night after I only wanted to have a nap, but I guess I fell asleep, which was better than just a nap. Boy, I feel really rested, but wow all the fierce lightning strikes that I saw. Anyway, more later...

'Something to boof' on The Positive [RANTING] Hedgehog

Sonic poster, hmm. Well, one thing I can say is that he has realistic blue fur, which I like a lot. Second of all is that he has a small black nose with 2 nostrils, and how realistic is that for you, hmm? Anyway, now we come to the hands... sure, he has hands with white fur instead of gloves, and I think Sonic fans will just have to accept that we may see Sonic in the future without any gloves and with just white furry hands. I mean Sonic fans out there complain about the smallest things. I mean when something changes on Sonic, they're like, "Nope, he's ugly now." or they rant and rant for like 5 minutes about how the organization messed up on the new design. I'm here to tell every Sonic fan out there to stop and hear me out! I am a 41-year-old Sonic fan, alright? You all need to stop and listen to how ridiculous you all sound. Sonic is Sonic and if people want to tweak Sonic's designs around, LET THEM! I am sick and tired of Sonic fans literally arguing about nothing... Either you are a true Sonic fan like me, who accepts anything that is brought forth by big movie producers trying to fit the main character, which is Sonic, on the big screen... or you're totally not a Sonic fan and just wants to bitch bitch bitch all the time about oh how the design is not correct and how you made him look ugly. When you're not a Sonic fan, your ranting falls on deaf ears my friend! I am a true blue Sonic fan, SO STOP BITCHING AND WISE UP A LITTLE, okay?!

Oh yeah, there's the Nike shoes that, what everyone is calling "Movie Sonic", is wearing. Red shoes with white laces. Again, I will say that Sonic NEEDS change. Although I didn't really say this in this entry, but I did say this to Boomer in a separate E-Mail to him. Everyone needs change sooner or later, right? Even our favorite video game characters.

And this continues my rant. Everybody is still hating the character's design. EVERYONE FUCKING RELAX!!! THIS IS RIDICULOUS! We get what we get... and for me being a civilized Sonic fan, I can accept this because they made him very cute. So if you guys don't want to watch it, you with your family, STOP YOUR FUCKING COMPLAINING AND DO NOT EVEN BOTHER ABOUT THE MOVIE!!! I'm sick and tired of these tweets bashing the character, because if you bash the character's design, you also bash the character itself and this makes you a BAD Sonic fan! Just stop, rethink what you're gonna say, and finally ACT PROPERLY! Because all you're doing is making yourselves look bad. And, by the way, this rant trickled over into Thursday morning.

'Twitter on Thursday' on The Positive Hedgehog

Yes, more ranting, but this time a positive one. The last time I wrote was at 4:15 this morning, Thursday morning, and this evening I saw some people going "he's adorable" and "he's cute". This is much better! They are warming up to the fact that, yes, Movie Sonic WILL be different. My only concern with the new design is that if they keep the new design and when the younger generations getting into Sonic asking "Why is one version of Sonic has his eyes together while the other version has his eyes separated?" Eh, I don't know. I know that they will ask this if we do keep Movie Sonic after the movie's been in the theaters for several months.

I am really happy for the movie - November 8th of this year! I think this rant is officially over, I hope.

'Not the final design' on The Positive Hedgehog

Hi guys, I just wanted to chime in here and say that the design that I gave to Boomer isn't the final design. I'll know more on the 16th when I watch SXSW (South By SouthWest) on YouTube's Tails Channel. There will be a Sonic panel over there discussing everything Sonic. I guess I will give Boomer some more pictures when the time comes and if the movie trailer's going to be leaked.

'Something About Sonic: A letter that I wrote to Boomer' on The Positive Hedgehog

I will try to cut this nice and short...

Really, I don't see what the big hubbub is with Movie Sonic. Granted that his stomach area is more life-like. That is definitely what *I* want to see in this movie. Yeah, keep those eyes separated, man. (That is what I would tell to the people designing him since I think I am the only true Sonic fan that accepts CHANGE.) The gloves? Yeah, they can come off... just like a hockey game, lol. "And the gloves come off". I mean his ears are the same, just more 3D. His shoes? BAH!(ia) lol. The shoes can stay as Nike, like I said before I have no beef about them. I really do accept change, and for the people who don't like change? Well sorry to say, but they aren't the ones 'running the show', am I right?

Sure, they may suggest things, but it's not right to shit on the movie concept of Sonic. I mean just leave the cutie alone, ya know? As for the traditional Sonic, most of the people still don't get the fact that a cartoon version of Sonic will NOT work in a real-life setting. Yeah, some replies to me from reddit were that Pikachu, from the upcoming Detective Pikachu movie, has a lot more fur, fluffy, and they kept his original design for the movie and the movie is supposed to be a live-action movie as well. Now, with that said, people like that because they didn't change his design, only put more fur on Pikachu and all the other Pokemon in the movie, but with Sonic, everyone is up in arms... but I told some people to "relax since I am 41 years old and have been a Sonic fan since I was 15."

And yeah I guess this was another rant by your truly, lol, and I tried to cut it down the best I can, but maybe Boomer can cut it down further his own way, I don't know.

I went on a Nuit Blanche Friday night, and I tried to have Spiceface times 4, but that never happened. Sure, it was really hot, but I got used to the ghost pepper, lol. They also have another name for it... the jolokia pepper. You see, I had to educate myself right then and there. Wikipedia says that the jolokia pepper is ALSO known as the ghost pepper since when they serve it at McDonald's, it says "ghost / jolokia" on the McChicken carton.

'Oh no! Not another rant from the hedgehog! Yes, sadly I need to have this Sunday rant' on The Positive Hedgehog

*sigh* I start with some startling news. When I was searching for some Sonic movie images, I found a trailer, but that trailer took a turn for the worst when I saw that trailer as a troll. It even said the website, http://www.sonicmovie2019.com (don't click on the link unless you want to be trolled). Basically, it has the opening with the ring sound and then there's a full human saying "Fast as fuck, boy" 2 times, and then it ends. This was a very shitty let-down, but I should have known that it was fake since we have 6 more days until the SXSW Sonic panel when the true official trailer to the Sonic movie will be revealed. Right away I knew that it was a hoax, that trailer I just saw, since it wasn't Jim Carrey playing as Robotnik in the trailer.

Anyway, rant over. I want to tell all of you that I did observe the time changing from 1:59 to 3 in the morning. And now, I think I will end it off here. I think this week's blog has been nothing but ranting, lol, so I guess I'm the Ricochet of the past since I remember when he did rants. I liked hearing his rants... I don't know why, but I did.

I forgot to tell you all, but the Action Center is closed due to renovation of the bathrooms. I won't be there until the 19th, but that's okay. My DJing skills are not going to go bad, and I still have 4 decks to play with. I still need some time to play around with them, but on March 1st I think I did a pretty damn good job on Nuit Blanche Radio with the 2 last deck only loaded up for jingles.

Today, Tuesday at the Action Center, I asked Shawn if he'd wanna come with me on Saturday, but his parents said no... ah well, it's fine. This is all I wanted to write right now. I think this may have been the shortest entry I did, I don't know though.

'Nuit Blanche entry #2' on The Positive Hedgehog

This is Thursday evening, and I went to McDonald's not near to me, no, but at the central train station in between of the orange line and the green line for the subway. I had 3 McChicken burgers, 1 Ghost Pepper one, 1 Hebanero, 1 Jalapeno, and as a side, I had their garden salad with balsamic dressing, which was pretty good. The ghost pepper burger was wayyyy good. Yes, I had a bit of spiceface, but yum yum it was really good!!! I will see if I can buy some more maybe on Saturday night, a few hours AFTER my Taco Bell's 5 cheese quesadillas, and then I will be all set for the night into Sunday morning. I have some snacks for Thursday night into Friday.

'Nuit Blanche Radio AND an interesting beginning of Saturday morning' on

The Positive Hedgehog

I had a lot of fun on Nuit Blanche Radio! I went from 2 decks to 4 decks about 1 hour into the stream. I gave Boomer a snapshot of what I dealt with. I quickly thought myself all the knobs for the 4 decks. I don't think I will use 2 decks ever again. Deck 3 and deck 4 could be for many things to be on standby while decks 1 and 2 are the main decks and I believe that's what Mixxx was meant for.

Anyway, on to a much more interesting morning. From 10pm until 12:07am PT, KTLA was on a pursuit of a stolen truck that started in downtown Los Angeles and took a lot of Interstates. 105, 405, and 605. Even the 5 freeway. Spent a lot of time driving erratically in Long Beach with the headlights off, even headlights off on some of the Interstates. Now understand that this was during the night and is very very dangerous. Anyway, it ended in the neighborhood of Bellflower where from 11:35 to 12:05, the driver did not comply. This is the first time that I have seen this, with the long standoff of 30 minutes or so. It was very long and I was curious what he was going to do next. I think some teargas was thrown in the truck and KTLA ended when the driver surrendered when he laid down on the street and CHP (California Highway Patrol) cuffed him.

That was really fun to watch, but at the same time, very dangerous to locals. Makes me wonder why people do these stupid stunts in the first place... are they just asking to get caught? They don't get that jail is not really a nice place to be. Oh well, better them and not me.

'COUNTDOWN to the OFFICIAL opening of Nuit Blanche!!!' on The Positive

WHOA BOY! Where do I start? Well, for a start, I timed it PERFECTLY by going to bed and falling asleep by 6:15 in the morning and got my 8-hour sleep, really wanting to be ready for the event tonight. Right now I am on the 'white throne' writing this entry since I wanna use my laptop before I go. But also I wanna have a shower before I make my way to Taco Bell for maybe the 7:30 or 8:00 hour. This year, like last year, I will see about taking buses right until 1am and then start taking the subways until 5:30 or 6, until I go to McDonald's for breakfast.

'Post-Nuit Blanche' on The Positive Hedgehog

...and no McDonald's to end it. I did things a bit differently this time. It was really a nice night Saturday night. No snow, just some dusting, that's it that's all. Okay, well where do I start? Well, 2nd year without Michael, and it was okay without him because he wanted to do some stuff his way, and I didn't force him to come if he didn't want to. Right now, I am sort of mellow and in need of water, lol. All I drank during the event was Diet Pepsi. Sure, it kept me alert and wide awake, but people do tell me that it's not healthy for me. I do think it is not that good for me, they're right, but I can't ignore that delicious caffeine taste, and don't forget the Aspartame. Anyway, yeah I am getting off-topic here... Nuit Blanche. I started it by having those 5 cheese quesadillas and then at 11:40 at night, right when McDonald's closed for the night, I went in and quick scarfed down those 3 Ghost Pepper McChicken burgers. Yes, I did have spiceface after all three, but man are they ever GOOOOOOOD! I took some fresh air at every opportunity I could. Right after Taco Bell, I took the same 2 buses that I took on the night of February 28th, and that was a fun ride. The bus that took me to the subway station, 211, had a lot of detours to make, lol. It seemed like it was taking forever to get to the station, and my oh my, our Highway 20, the highway that leads to downtown, has been decommissioned, hehe. The mayor of the city is beautifying the city so it will look nicer for tourists and locals. Back to Nuit Blanche... the casino was sponsored this time so I decided to go there. I took the Lucky #7 (777) bus to go there, and now I know why it was sponsored... there was a live DJ there! I was at the casino from 1 until 1:45 in the morning. I wanted to go to the airport next, but went against my own decision since sitting in a warm building might have put me to sleep, and I want to avoid that, but like at 3 until 4:30 in the morning, I was feeling sleepy, but from 4:30 on, I felt more awake. Anyway, yeah I came home a bit earlier, lol. It was just JUST starting to get light out when I hopped on the bus home.

Yeah I think this big chunky paragraph is where I will end this week's blog. Thank you, guys, for reading my blogs every week... this includes you, Boomer, for reading it out on the air, and for you, the listening audience, for wanting to know what this hedgehog does each and every week and I am so grateful for that. I feel that I do contribute greatly to Doggy Radio. Yes, The Rabbit Hole too, but this time I just threw a pile of money at Romeo's face, and he ate my money! jk nah he didn't do that, but yeah I did contribute to his show as well. I am being funny being I guess I am coming back tired from Nuit Blanche.

So all-in-all, it wasn't all that boring, the whole 12 hours that I was just bouncing about from station to station, and having some air too.
