Hedgie With a Bloggy on Doggy™ for the week of October 24th to October 30th

Oct 30 2016

HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!!! At this moment - 3am ET on Monday, midnight on the west coast, SiriusXM's -1st Wave- Channel 33 is broadcasting some classic Halloween dance mixes, but I do invite people to stay tuned to Doggy Radio. The Halloween dance mixes will still be on when you guys wake up out of bed. I know only a select few have SiriusXM though.

This time I am starting my blog listening to the Doggy Radio pawdcast.

Welcome, everyone, to my blog for the week of October 24th to October 30th.

=====

What to look out for this week: Monday's luncheon at Kanda, Tuesday and Wednesday will be busy days for me. Thursday will be a day where I may go somewhere in the city, but I don't know if I will or not. Friday is the Halloween Dance at the Action Center, but I won't be going to that event.

-----

Monday - Downloaded the Doggy Radio pawdcast before I went to the luncheon and now I am listening to it at night while following along on the site. Lunch was excellent as always at the restaurant. So much food that I can order at a fixed price. They even have caviar sushi over there, and you can order as many pieces as you want for under $20 as well. I just find that amazing! I don't know how they do it, to still be in business since caviar is really expensive! And the way I eat over there, I eat WAYYYY over my quota.

-----

Tuesday - Since it's after midnight and I still am listening to the podcast, I hear that Ricochet is mocking me of all the buses that I take at times, and yeah it's funny. I won't go back and fourth with you, don't worry. Wow! I just went to my computer calendar and noticed that the first Halloween show back in 2011 of Doggy Radio was on a Monday. How cool is that? I think 2012 was a leap year because October 31st went right to Wednesday. Right now it's close to 10pm and I will quickly tell you what I did during the day and I will then get back to my Sonic ritual. Today was a day at the Action Center as usual, but I was a doofus and had to forget the most important thing to DJ... my laptop! Yup, I forgot it at home, lol. Start-up time for my music was half an hour late due to my forgetting my laptop, which my dad delivered to me via his car. Everything went very well. I played Crazy Eights again for a 2nd week in a row at 3:05pm. I will start making a habit of playing Crazy Eights every Tuesday at that time now because my music is turned off right at 3pm, or a bit before that because people need to hear their adaptive transport drivers. On to my CKUT day Wednesday...

-----

Wednesday - Well, I just decided that there won't be any CKUT for me today due to the few days that I went to bed really late. I got out of bed at 3:50pm and the show starts at 5pm, but I wouldn't get there in time, and I don't feel like walking in on The Avalanche crew when they are on the air.

-----

Thursday - I didn't do anything special today, so I will go right into Friday.

-----

Friday - Today, starting my blog at 1:55 in the morning. I will be going to bed in a bit and when I wake up, I think I will have an afternoon ride to maybe IGA Atwater, but I am not sure yet. I will see when I wake up. No IGA Atwater, but I did stop at the dollar store after my supper to buy few things. Half an hour later it was time for me to put on my iVlog show.

-----

Saturday - I stopped my iVlog show at midnight and watched my YouTube vlogs, which is always great entertainment for me. Later on I am invited to Nick's place for some Halloween fun and I will be bringing my DJ equipment. There was an incident that happened, but it wasn't a big one. He just wasn't in the mood to continue with the music after we all watched JAWS as a movie. I told him that we'll have music next time. This hedgehog is flexible like that! I am happy that I am flexible. Anyway, I am listening to the Saturday Night Safety Dance right now.

-----

Sunday - I Facebook'd my other friend, Chuck, to see if he wanted to come to the local mall today since he wanted to go to the mall with me on Saturday, but since Nick asked first, well you all know how that goes. Also I forgot that Chuck has something every Sundays, Special Olympics... he's on a bowling team on Sundays. Tonight, though, I will be watching the Blair Witch Project, and tomorrow during the night will be the Rocky Horror Picture Show for me.

Groceries bought for tonight's furry programming: Diet Pepsi, chocolate granola bars, chocolate milk, imitation crab, Baklava, some Starbucks coffee in a can, sweet & salty popcorn by Orville Redenbacher's - comes in a bag. The sweet & salty popcorn is so yummy! I'm in heaven when I buy it. I also got some Quaker Chewy chocolate chip bars.

I think I will slowly start including my Sunday grocery bill in my blogs from now on to make all of you hungry, BWAHAHA!!! But seriously, I love to write this down for all of you.

That's it for this week's Hedgie With a Bloggy on Doggy™ with me, JaSonic. Thanks to Boomer & Ricochet for hosting my blogs every week. Today is Halloween and I feel that everyone is under a spell in Pawpet IRC under its spell this morning. Maybe there are some zombies that are talking in the chat room right now. Maybe *I* am today since the very start of the show Boomer says "You thought JaSonic was dead, but he came back." Tomorrow is November 1st. Hope everyone has a happy November, but these blogs will continue.

My blog for the week of October 17th to October 23rd

Oct 24 2016

Before I start, I want to tell you guys that I love you to death, even you Boomer and Ricochet. I am starting my blog on a Wednesday night in the living room watching the final presidential debate on CNN. I got my snacks ready for tonight, but I will perhaps blog on that for the Wednesday blog. Monday and Tuesday may be pretty slim as I forgot to blog on those days, but we'll see how much I can remember.

Welcome, everyone, to my blog for the week of October 17th to October 23rd.

=====

What to look out for this week: Lazy Monday, Tuesday until Thursday will be busy days each days. Friday is going to be an off day since I will tell all of you why in my Friday report.

-----

Monday - While Doggy Radio was on, I was grateful that I was able to listen to blog of October 10th via Sonic 95.5 FM in the bathroom. For the rest of the day, I kind of forgot what I did. Not important, but wait until you hear about Tuesday to Thursday.

-----

Tuesday - Action Center! I introduced my new Sonic mask to everyone and the exercise teacher liked it very much. This time, I stayed standing up behind my DJ table and this time I didn't stay in the corner, and that wasn't a problem because there was no wheelchairs that wanted to pass. From 3:05pm to 3:35pm, I told some people that I was going to play Crazy Eights, and that's what I did. Now after I have remembered all of this, I have to close this for now because there's just a few minutes before the final debate starts. I will continue after the debate. Debate's over, so let's go to Wednesday, shall we?

-----

Wednesday - Morning went well, but got up at around noon and my dad drove me to the subway. First stop was IGA Atwater... supermarket stop at the subway's underground system. I got 2 sandwiches and some fudge. I ate the sandwiches and all the fudge, which made me super hyper at CKUT, but I was able to control myself. Had a show today, but there were some minor hiccups that went on while I was at the helm of everything, but it was quickly fixed thankfully. On to Thursday. Big day for me!

-----

Thursday - 7pm right now and I'm at where I am supposed to be right now, at the SSMU, or the Students' Society of McGill University. We're just in the midst of checking if everything's going according to plan. I just overheard the person in charge over here of the room and said that the speaker system won't handle anything over 85 dBs, which is actually fine for me... so thank God that I did bring my Logitech sound system with me. Music is going to be very loud on my end. They had to unplug me because some of the other performances of the night needed all the plugs that are nearest to me. Correction, they told me that they want to use their system, so it's alright. Wanted to set my speakers up, but nah I won't argue with them. I have faith in the technician anyways. Everything went smoothly, but another performer before me changed the wires around and almost hardly any sound was coming in the mixer that they had set up. I quickly ran to set up my Logitech system, but they found the problem as soon as I got everything set up. I played 4 to 5 songs and everyone started to leave, not because of my taste in music, au contraire mon ami... on the contrary my friend, they loved the type of music I played, and it helped them enjoy packing stuff away for the night. Anyway, I packed up for the night also. There was just one more set that I needed to play for myself, and that was me falling down the stairs outside and hitting my head on the railing badly, so bad that there was blood gushing out. That's okay because I knew that it was wet outside and on the steps, so I basically acted like a big goof on the stairs being careless. I do not like the fact that my city is a huge construction zone nowadays, but everything's being done at the same time to speed up the beautification process in time for the city's 375th birthday. I'm back at home now, not going to the Action Center tomorrow because I had a very long night, not only that, but I may develop a headache overnight into tomorrow because I banged my head very badly. I really don't know why I wasn't unconscious after that thud to the head.

-----

Friday - This morning, I am still awake and it's 6 in the morning. Told the teachers by E-Mail over at the Action Center that I won't be coming in due to a long night last night and the tumble that I had on the stairs. Damn it, I still feel it, and I have a bump on my head now... not a huge one. I can still wear my mask. My mask is now going to stay home since I will be making it my personal mask since I have just implemented a new 'Sonic ritual' that involes the 14-inch Sonic plush toy and the Sonic mask, and THAT is where I am going to stop and say no more because I don't want to get graphic here on my blog.

-----

Saturday - Saturday Night Live time, but I will go back to the Safety Dance after the show. Still raining over here, so I will go to the grocery store tomorrow, and I just noticed that I am blogging yesterday since it's now past midnight...

-----

Sunday - Tonight I will be only be listening to your program, Doggy Radio, since Romeo is going to be at Furloween and will have a recorded show. I love shows that are live, so yeah there will be snacks that I will be buying for myself this evening. I'm happy. You know what I just noticed? I came back from the grocery store with lots of snacks, and I wasn't observant, but I picked some organic baby food for myself and to my amazement, it tastes good! Yeah the label on it had a big "Baby Gourmet" logo, but I though that this was only an advertisement. Listened to a bit of a "tape delayed" The Rabbit Hole, and won't be able to listen to Doggy Radio due to a lucheon that I will be having with my dad and some friends of ours at Kanda, that Asian fusion buffet that I talked to you guys about a week or two ago that is extremely delicious! I will catch Doggy Radio on pawdcast.

Looking into the future - MONDAY!!!

Shaving today just before 1am and I will have a nice shower too to be all nice and clean for the luncheon at 12:30pm.

That's it for this week's Hedgie With a Bloggy on Doggy™ with me, JaSonic. Thanks to Boomer & Ricochet for hosting my blogs every week. Halloween is coming, and it's going to have everyone in Pawpet IRC under its spell the next time Doggy Radio goes live, because next Monday is HALLOWEEN!!! November is Thanksgiving month for you guys south of this hedgehog, and I guess I am just going off on a tangent at this point. Okay, time to bring Doggy Radio back. Take it away, Boomer & Ricochet... GO!!!

Hedgie With a Bloggy on Doggy™ for the week of October 10th to October 16th

Posted by JaSonic
Oct 16 2016

This week, I am starting on Monday evening in the comfort of my own bedroom.

Welcome, everyone, to my blog for the week of October 10th to October 16th.

=====

What to look out for this week: Monday grogginess, more Action Center on Tuesday, Wednesday's visit to our friend's sister, then we get into Thursday for some buffet goodness, and then Friday's big day with geography class in the morning and then chair dancing with karaoke in the afternoon again at the Action Center - Friday everyone went apple picking, so I changed the buffet day from Thursday to Friday. I will also be doing some weekend blogging again, so you can all look forward to that!

-----

Monday - After Doggy Radio, I wanted to stay awake for the whole day, but I couldn't do it this time. Went to bed at like 10:30 in the morning, and I really wanted to go to a Halloween Depot store since someone on FA told me about these rubber Sonic masks that I could have for myself. I don't know how much the masks are, but as long as it's like under $60, and if the masks are like $5 or $10 each, I will get 3. All this to say that I didn't go. I will go either on Thursday or Friday since I will be pretty busy on Tuesday and hump day. Another thing before I wrap my blog up for the day, is that I am stretching the last 3 episodes out so that I will be more eager to watch them.

-----

Tuesday - Action Center day! My dad drove me to work to DJ, and I was early this time... I'm happy. Usually they tell me to push the DJ table back, but I have thought up of an area where I can sit and there would be a path that wheelchairs can pass. I'm considerate when it comes to that. Anyway, I want to go to bed early tonight so I could get up at 6 in the morning to have a shower and get a fresh start to the morning since I am going north of my city during the day, which I said in the start of my blog. Tonight I watched the 3 last episodes of Paw Patrol. So much for stretching the episodes out every few days.

-----

Wednesday - Woke up an hour earlier, 5am, to see about watching some news from NYC, but 3 of the the 4 USA stations - NYC, Chicago, and Los Angeles - they all were having technical difficulties, so the other choices were CNN and our 'The Weather Network'. Boston was working. This gave me a good excuse for me to take a good shower, so now I am a squeaky clean hedgehog! 5:50am was the time I got in the shower, and when I got out of the shower, got dressed in my new clothes that I chose, and those 3 of 4 US channels were still experiencing technical difficulties and this was at 6:15. Oh well, at least I have access to www.pix11.com and also, I forgot about this, but I could have just streamed the news from their website through my HDMI cable to my big screen. Ah well. It's all good. After the day has been done, I was incredibly tired... so I watched my vlogs and go to bed. Tomorrow might be interesting since rain is in the forecast. I don't really mind, in this case, because I got my $40 on Monday, when I wanted to get some groceries... I picked up 4 sandwiches - and they were very YUMMY sandwiches all wrapped up in tortillas. Also got 3 mini cherry pies, and my dad wanted some Hershy's bars, so I picked up a big box of assorted Hershy's bars. At first my dad was mad at me for buying this, but I said that it saves me from buying Hershy's bars for my dad every now and then. Did a little DJing at my friend's sister's place. She enjoyed the music that I played, but after a while she wanted me to play non-dance music, and I complied. I will talk about Thursday now...

-----

Thursday - Didn't go to the buffet or the store where I need to buy my Sonic mask, but I will tomorrow. Today was a lazy day for this hedgehog due to the rain. I am hyped up for tomorrow though since I may get to do both things - the buffet and going to get the Sonic mask.

-----

Friday - Look at Saturday. I was too late to put anything in today's blog.

-----

Saturday - I had my iVlog show to put on last night, and I was out all day, so I didn't have time for Friday's blog, I'm sorry. Yesterday I had my alarm set for 11am. I got up, but then I went back to bed for just a few moments. My dad drove me to the buffet place and when he continued, he continued to Ontario to get some wine. I had a LOT of food and I didn't waste any, and I am happy about that! Service was really rapid as well. After the buffet, I went to catch Bus #208, #470, and then I wanted to catch Bus #17, down to where I had to pick my Sonic mask up, but that bus never showed up, so I had to walk back to the subway and go down to the stop where I needed to get off. The mask was $40. It was steep, yes, but the mask is very high quality! I am really happy with my purchase. There was someone who broke the strap on one side to really make the mask stable, but I thought of a way how to fix it, and that was with a stapler. I will show you guys a picture of my mask. It's better than my fursuit head, that's for sure. Now, as far as today is concerned, I got up and got some Diet Pepsi after supper since the forecast tomorrow is for rain. Got some cookies for my dad as well. Right now I am listening to the Saturday Night Safety Dance until 4am tomorrow. I am just so happy that it's back in Stereo!

-----

Sunday - Got a very late start on today's blog. Right now it's 8:05pm and it was just raining heavily outside just when I was coming back from grocery shopping. This time I didn't grab any Diet Pepsi since you see on Saturday's blog that I already got 2 6-packs of them, 12 bottles. I need to first drink all of my Brisk. At the time I am writing this blog, I still have 3 more bottles to drink up until I drink my Diet Pepsi. Anyway, I still got some yummy stuff from the store to munch on through the night while listening to furry programming and having fun on Pawpet IRC. Right now, though, I need to have a shower. I will be posting up that picture of my new Sonic mask for you all to see.

That's it for this week's Hedgie With a Bloggy on Doggy™ with me, JaSonic. Thanks to Boomer & Ricochet for hosting my blogs every week. IT'S OCTOBER, FOLKS! Be glad that Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas are all coming up soon. Before you all know it, it will be 2017!

My blog for the week of October 3rd to October 9th

Posted by JaSonic
Oct 10 2016

This week, I am starting on Monday evening in the comfort of my own bedroom.

Welcome, everyone, to my blog for the week of October 3rd to October 9th.

=====

What to look out for this week: McDonald's chowing down, traffic weather and sports with Mr. McGee, more Action Center AND CKUT news, then we get into Thursday, and then Friday's big day with geography class in the morning and then chair dancing with karaoke in the afternoon again at the Action Center. I will also be doing some weekend blogging again, so you can all look forward to that!

-----

Monday - After Doggy Radio, it was around 7am... sheesh, last week was a long one, but I am not complaining... I went right to bed snuggling my Sonic plush toy, which is awesome as always! Today was the day that I thought I was going to a buffet, but nah the buffet I was planning to go to was a bit too far for the time I got out of bed today. So, my second choice was to go to McDonald's for supper, which was the best choice that I made... sure it costed me an arm and a leg for the food, but it was SOOOO worth it! I kept the receipt since I wanted to tell all of you what I got. First of all, I just love the fact that they have those wall tablets to order from! They are so easy to use... for me anyway. My father used a tablet at the Asian fusion restaurant last Friday, and he did not know how to use it... he had to ask. At times when he faces this kind of situation, he says "No wonder I hate computers so much!"... meanwhile I just laugh at him because it seemed just too easy... to the technology-advanced people like me. Anyway, yeah let me tell you all what I got at McDonald's - and this will astound you all! 5 Thai McTasters - So YUMMY!!! 1 Mighty Angus with bacon & cheese, 6 McNuggets, but with no sauce. For dessert, I had an Oreo McFlurry. While I was eating, I was listening to Haitian Radio 1410 AM, CPAM. They had real good music on at the time. Everything was just so yummy, but I am happy that I don't go there very often. I am back home now just doing my own stuff. On to Tuesday...

-----

Tuesday - A few minutes before I need to put my iVlog show on... can I make it? We'll see. Today at the Action Center, I came in a bit late, but that's okay. Everyone had a great time still and I noticed that DJ Sonic didn't play some songs that he usually plays every Tuesdays. I can't think of anything else to say for now, but all that to say that now my fingers are on FIRE!!! I blazed through the blog today! 1 minute per line. I'm happy. But I may write some more after my show, but it will be Wednesday when I finish because I usually go until midnight... until further notice. Sometimes I do cut it short due to certain reasons, reasons that I don't really want to share with all of you right now because some of those reasons might be private. It's like 8:10pm now, 10 minutes into the show, and I know that JCollie usually watched Bucktown's stream Tuesday nights, and I told him it's okay. There's some programming on Tuesday's since I am going up against Bucktown's Furstream. Yes, JCollie has an iVlog account, so that's good. Finished my show at 10pm, earlier than I wanted because, yes, I am running against another furry show, and since I am not part of the PBN, the Pawpet Broadcasting Network since I sometimes do have a show and sometimes I don't due to being too tired, it's fine. I just changed my schedule now... no more shows on Tuesday nights, but I will try my very best to have a show on every Fridays, but if not every Friday, the Friday after the one I didn't have a show on, if that all makes sense to you guys.

Anyway, I will give you a link to my show. www.ivlog.tv/user/jasonic and you can sign up for a free account, subscribe to my show so you don't miss a show when I go on. I am looking for viewers who wants to know DJ Sonic a bit better, but I don't mean 'a bit better' like sexually, I mean to just strike up a friendly conversation with him.

-----

Wednesday - Early morning. Someone on FA just informed me that the 3rd season of Paw Patrol is on the Internet now, so I am starting to watch it via Netflix. I am happy that there is a 3rd season, but also I will be sad when I finish the season in the next few days since I watch quite a few episodes per day. Here I was thinking that there wouldn't ever be a 3rd season and that the cartoon was slowly dying off... WRONG! Oh, how so wrong I was! I'm a happy hedgehog that I can see the pups again in a whole new adventure along with Ryder as well. Later on, at CKUT where I am writing this right now, I just got the confirmation about DJ Sonic going at the Funding Drive. 4:07pm right now and I am getting ready to do some teching. Teching is the guy behind the console flipping all the switches for sound and stuff. After the show, I went to the underground shopping mall and got 3 good pieces of all-dressed pizza, yum yum! Now I am back home. I am going to be watching my vlogglers, who I am subscribed to on YouTube, vlog. After my vlogs, anything goes I guess. Well, that 'anything goes' just turned into watching some more Paw Patrol episodes! Those pups are still awesome as ever.

-----

Thursday - Woke up in the afternoon and in the late afternoon, I flipped on CNN and at last, they pulled back from the election coverage and honed in on Hurricane Matthew. I put it on WPBF, ABC 25 in Florida and since they have the coverage like all hours of the day, I am concerned about the Funday Pawpet Show crew and Romeo... just hope they all got in a safe area. Watched some vlogs and then continued to watch the coverage through the overnight hours, so I had to cancel the day at the Action Center this Friday. The hurricane coverage got me hooked, and I know that I shouldn't like hurricanes because they bring such havoc, but I'm a weather enthusiast.

-----

Friday - Oh my heavens to betsy! I didn't go to the Action Center today, but while I was in the bathroom, I began to wonder about something. Boomer E-Mailed me in reply to that 'worried about my friends in Florida due to Hurricane Matthew' E-Mail. He told me that he's on top of things also and that Ricochet's getting updates since Romeo is a good friend of Ricochet's. So, Boomer informed me that the Sonic dog picture that my friend gave me on Facebook was moved from the main Doggy Radio site to my blog section, and I saw this, but then I went back to the main site I noticed that it was just copied and pasted to my blog section and not moved. I even did a power refresh and it's still there. Oh yeah, he did say to me that he plans to make the Sonic dog bigger... and I did compare the size by going to my blogging section and with the main site, and it IS bigger. Thanks, Boomer. I also clicked on the 'http://boomerthedog.com/jasonic-blog-read-by-boomer-9-24-16.mp3' link that you have on there, and this link is now free publicity on my blog as well since the link is clickable, but I don't know if it will be clickable when it ends up in Thingamablog, Boomer's blog editing software. I didn't really know that Boomer made a separate audio blog for my looooong summertime blog, and for this I want to thank him lots! I like all the comments he made while reading my blog. Anyway later on, I will be having a very yummy submarine for supper, and then when I come back home I will hop on Second Life for that Friday night DJ, although she may be attending a con this weekend. I'll see if she is or not. And yes, Boomer did bark at me that it would be bigger, the picture, and that's great!

-----

Saturday - In the early morning, I went to have a shower and then decided to clean my shower because of the visitors that my dad and I are anticipating for a Thanksgiving get-together. You see, people, Canada and the USA have different dates for holidays - like on Monday it's Thanksgiving Day for us Canadians and Columbus Day for our neighbors to the south of us. There was someone on FA that is also in my city who guided me to a Halloween Depot to get some Sonic masks for me. Anyway, more on what I did... well, I went to bed at 7 in the morning, so there was no way that I would be able to get up in time to head over to the store, plus it was raining out when I woke up. I will go to the Halloween Depot tomorrow since the forecast looks a lot better for me. Now everyone's here for the turkey dinner. There were some people arguing about Donald Trump for about 20 minutes. When we started a concert, the argument quieted down a bit. Now at 10:20pm, one family left, but the other 2 families will leave later on when the concert's over. I wanna stay in the living room with my laptop since I don't want to be a savage and just stay in my room for the whole night, and after they leave, I will bring my laptop back into my room and put Sonic 95.5 FM on the Saturday Night Safety Dance via SiriusXM, 1st Wave Channel 33. I just love my life even though I have to endure some loud DVD concerts while having guests over. My WiFi signal is on 3 to 4 bars on 5, so I am good to go on the Internet from the living room, although the microwave can't be activated because it would create lots of interference for my wireless from over here. If I am back in my room, I'm alright because I am not on the opposite side of the microwave. RF signals can be tricky at times.

-----

Sunday - First of all, I want to say I am very happy that Romeo is safe since I heard that Ricochet is good friends with Romeo, so yeah he was in constant contact with Romeo and I was in constant contact with Boomer via E-Mail, petsmartdoggie1@yahoo.com - free publicity yet again, about how Romeo was doing and if Boomer would need to flip on 88.7 FM in place of The Rabbit Hole since I thought that the show might have not gone on tonight as planned since his power might've still been cut off. Anyway, I went to the store where they had a sale on Diet Pepsi, which I really wanted to get, but they had no more... but the sale was for Brisk as well, so I got 4 6-packs. That and a box of assorted Halloween chocolate treats. Coffee Crisp, KitKat, Aero, and Smarties are the assorted chocolate in the box. $14.99 was what I paid for the chocolate, but you know what? I DO IT ALL FOR YOU, ROD!!! Yeah, I want to stay awake, and with no Diet Pepsi, I feel like I won't be able to stay awake for Doggy Radio. So yeah The Rabbit Hole, which is a really good furry musical show, Radiolawn, back to The Rabbit Hole after Radiolawn, and then Doggy Radio. Don't get me wrong, I adore every single show that this hedgehog gets his ears listening to. I have to hurry up and send this blog in.

Just a note, Thanksgiving comes before Halloween in Canada, as I stated in Saturday's blog, so with that note, by the time this blog goes up it will be Thanksgiving Day in Canada! Happy Columbus Day to my friends to the south and Happy Thanksgiving to my friends in my country, Canada.

My blog for the week of September 28th to to October 2nd

Posted by JaSonic
Oct 02 2016

This week, I am starting out at the radio station, CKUT 90.3 here in Montreal, just because I can, lol, and it's my own blog. Right now I am just getting ready to get the show on the road, and someone just might have a gig for me over here for the station's funding drive in 21 days from now. It's September 28th right now, so think 3 weeks down the line from now. Anyway, let's get my blog started, shall we?

Welcome, everyone, to my blog for the week of September 28th to October 2nd, and just a reminder to all of you... I may or may not blog throughout the weekend depending if I do anything exciting.

-----

Monday - I didn't listen to my furry programming because I was sort of tired from being up north and also I wanted to extend the life of my week's groceries, but a lot of good that did me, lol, because I finished it all on Tuesday evening after I did my iVlog show. I had a very restful sleep on Sunday night to Monday morning at about 11am or so.

Tuesday - DJ Sonic's day at the Action Center, and you know when I wrote that he went above and beyond last week? Well, try for even FURTHER than above and beyond this week! So much further that the DJ's heart was beating furiously in his chest. Don't worry, though, because he got some water for himself. Went home very happy with himself. I am really happy for him since he had a real good day today. I am speaking in the 3rd person here since you all know DJ Sonic is me. On to Wednesday - CKUT day!

Wednesday - My fun day! I am glad that I take some days off from the Action Center. I needed some days for myself, so Tuesdays and Fridays are the perfect days for DJ Sonic to be going to the Action Center, don't you all think so? I mean too much of something is never a good thing and I like to balance my weeks out. So yeah, I am at CKUT right now writing this blog. We have a new news coordinator. She seems very fun and I just met her! She was looking for someone to DJ at the funding event, and I said that I might be available. I told her my E-Mail address so she could get in touch with me.

Thursday - While I was on Facebook, another Sonic fan added me, so now I don't just have 1 Sonic fan in the same province as me on my Facebook, I have 2! Anyway, she drew a great picture of Sonic as a dog and I asked her permission if I could send it in for my blog, and she said yes, granted that I give her the credit... and this is what I did.

Friday - Today, I went to an Asian fusion buffet with my dad, which was very yummy. Afterwards I came back and in the evening, I only did an anour and fourty-five minutes on for The DJ Sonic Show on iVlog. Watched some vlogs after my show and then the news and then fell asleep with my many Sonic plush toys on my bed.

Saturday - The first day of October, getting closer to the USA national election date, which is November 8th. I don't want to talk about it because the 2 candidates are ... I don't know how to say it, I wouldn't vote for either one of them, but that isn't my call because I'm in Canada.

Anyway, I don't have anything planned for today, although tonight starting at 8pm I have the Saturday Night Safety Dance on SiriusXM's 1st Wave, and I get to listen to it on my 'always-on-now' FM transmitter, Sonic 95.5 FM. I have a problem with the show now in its audio quality nowadays, and I don't know if they recently fixed it, but they changed the title from 'Saturday Night Safety Dance' to 'Dance Party New Wave' and they got rid of the announcer every couple of songs and now it's just non-stop music. But now for the audio quality... the show went from Stereo to mono, and it's not even good mono... it's like that now the entire 8-hour show has a channel problem. I noticed that some songs don't sound the same anymore. You see, this hedgehog is a Stereo hedgehog, but I will listen to mono audio as long as it's good mono without a problem with a channel... I simply hate that! In the evening, I noticed something different on the show. Did they revert back? YES THEY DID! I'm happy! It looks like they have it back in full Stereo again, and it also looks like they are bringing back the 'Saturday Night Safety Dance' title also. I am so glad that it wasn't only me that complained, since I did E-Mail them, about that shitty audio quality.

Sunday - Started my day by waking up at 12:45pm and then hopped on the Internet to look for porn, lol, but no seriously, I was talking to some people on Telegram. I recently joined a group which I am very glad I'm in. I feel that I can say anything on the group. Afterwards, I got some groceries fot the furry programming that I am about to listen to - The Rabbit Hole, Radiolawn, and Doggy Radio. There wasn't any Diet Pepsi at the drugstore that I was at - Pharmaprix, the equivalent to the American 'Shopper's Drug Mart', so I was debating to go to the dollar store or back to Pharmaprix because if I wanted a 6-pack of Diet Pepsi at the grocery store, it's 2 times the price of what I would pay at Pharmaprix, so since there wasn't any Diet Pepsi there, I got a 6-pack of Brisk.
