Tuesday down in Cape Cod on The Positive Hedgehog

Well, after that ordeal we both had on Sunday, my dad since got a rental car... a blue Nissan Rogue SUV. Now, my dad didn't want a SUV, but it was all that Budget rent-a-car had. Anyway, I did tell Boomer that I did delete the podcast, that I downloaded on August 20th, after 2 hours and 31 minutes into the show, right at the 'Ricochet Updates (From listeners like you)' position, and I feel bad about it because I made Boomer feel bad, so I downloaded it again and I will finish it somehow since I wanna hear what these two have to say about the ordeal that we just had.

Anyway, yes... I was talking to Boomer about all different radio stations, more AM than FM, but then 94.3 WZAI came up, and that station is part of 2 other stations (90.1 and 91.1). Normally its call letters is WCAI (Cape, Coast, and Islands) and is a NPR station. But yeah I will bore you guys talking about this and this is not what The Positive Hedgehog is all about, so I will be back later on. Either later on or tomorrow, on Wednesday.

The Positive Hedgehog for Sunday, August 26th

By the time this gets read on the air, it will be almost 3 days that I have been back in Montreal. Yes sir! Friday afternoon at 1:50pm was the time we got back. I was so fudging horny though that I needed a major 'Sonic Adventure', so I had one, and that's it for that story, lol. Anyway, my dad still feels stupid to this day because he has to run to the car dealership every few days to a week to get a new car since the original one got totaled. Why he mistook the gas pedal for the brake pedal is beyond me, but I did tell him to lay off the beer while driving, but the only way that he'll begin to listen to me is when he gets taken in for a DUI. I don't know why the Eastham police in MA didn't see what I saw when I showed the officer the can of beer. "I drink that all the time" was the officer's reply. I mean, how stupid can you be?! That officer should be reprimanded and be taught that beer is BEER! No matter what the alcohol content, it still SHOULD NOT be drunken while driving! Maybe the beer that he had was what screwed up some brain signals since he didn't even one TOUCH the brake pedal when he wanted to stop and put it in Park, his brain just told the leg to push the gas pedal harder instead of pushing the brake.

Anyway, all that aside, how are all of you doing, Boomer, Ricochet, the Pawpet IRC channel, and the whole listening audience? Reply to me in channel or at sonicfreak1977@yahoo.ca - I love talking with people. I guess I don't have anything more to write about so I will leave it here for now. One more thing, though, before I close this up. I know that Ricochet is 'losing his buzz', but just one more. My dad now has a Toyota Yaris for the time being.

Before I close up shop though, and Ricochet will be getting frustrated with me... I noticed that the Shoutcast counter only displayed 1 of 32 listeners all night, and it went up to 2 a few times, but I dunno, that counter might be broken or something.

'33-824' on The Positive Hedgehog

Remember that number since I will be going back to tell you why that number has been somewhat of a significance. I am writing this on a Tuesday since I was too dead tired Monday night to even dabble in the blog, so I am doing it today. So yeah, to start off this week's blog, I will tell you all that at 5:40pm on Monday was when everything started. I hopped on the bus, got to the subway station where I needed to go, hopped on another bus and that one broke down so I walked the rest of the way to a restaurant where I met this cute girl who was a chef in the kitchen. Yes, at some point I had the guts to tell her that she's cute. She looked like my first girlfriend, Anna, but her name is Laurie. I got her first name, but I should have got her last name also since she's on Facebook. I may have to go back to the restaurant at some point to either leave a note for her, or maybe if I can ask her to come out of the kitchen and talk with me for a few moments. She's deaf, by the way, but it does not matter. She hears me just fine, and she says that she doesn't do sign language and she reads lips instead. At some point during my meal, and yes it was at a Chinese buffet, I couldn't think of what to get in hot plates since my mind was tuned to her cute face. The rest of her, by the way, looked quite good. She even told me that she was hit on a few times by other guys, and she told me that they were more creepish looking, but she said "You, on the other hand, you're all right" so this means I do have a fighting chance with her. Okay, this means that I will EVENTUALLY tell her about my Sonic fetish in hopes that she won't say "Ewwwww!" or anything like that because I know that some girls out there says that it sounds hot to them. I just hope it's the same thing with Laurie, that she finds it cute and hot. What a wall of text I have just written. Just remember folks, LOVE CONQUERS ALL! And well, Laurie doesn't appear that she would slap me in the face since she doesn't look like the kind of woman who would.

Forgot something very important on The Positive Hedgehog!

Yeah, I guess I am just too excited right now that I have completely forgot about that number, 33-824, that I told you about. Well, I don't know why, but I was seeing that number on a bus for a 3rd time before heading back home. Don't know what that number is supposed to mean to me. I mean a number is just a number, right? You just can't forget a pretty face like Laurie though. And yeah, she does look like Anna, but I am not comparing the two since Anna never seems to wanna be quiet... well, when she was with me way back when. Laurie, she seems like she doesn't have that kind of problem that Anna had.

Yeah, totally forgot about the significance about 33-824, so sorry guys, lol

You all are getting 2 in 1 this time. On Tuesday, I wrote a long letter to Laurie, and I don't remember what I said. Hopped on the bus and subway and when I got there, I asked for her and she wasn't working on Tuesdays. I had lunch there anyway, and this was at Jade Palace, Chinese buffet. Her boss gave me her last name and when I came home, I searched for her and found her. Talked for quite a few hours and then I was talking about sex with her. Now, I don't know why girls have to open their mouths to other friends because this friend of hers called me a pedophile just because I love Sonic, and (being honest here) I was not trying to push her, but I did continue a little with my sex talk when she told me to stop. As well, it didn't help the case much since she told me that she has trust issues, but the pedophile with Sonic... HUH?! WHERE THE FRIG DID THAT COME FROM?!?!?! Laurie blocked me on Facebook because of that, and because she sided with her friend. Anyway, on to Wednesday...

Wednesday, I hopped the bus and subway again to Jade Palace only to get told that she would finish at 7:30 in the evening, and I arrived there around 2:15 to 2:30, so a 5+ hour wait... I was patient. After that wait, I went in the restaurant, but not to eat... to talk with Laurie that led NOWHERE because she told me that she wanted a guy that ... well WHATEVER! The girl has trust issues, plain and simple. I went home again without any supper. I didn't cry or anything. It's true what they say about what doesn't hurt only makes you stronger, but yeah I must admit I am still thinking about her while I write this.

'Something very negative' on The Positive Hedgehog

Well, the day started fine, we both got here at the Town Crier Motel okay, but I am thinking the car is toast. My dad hit the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal and we slammed into a room at the motel. My dad is feeling really stupid right now, and we'll be having a rental car to go back home. I don't think I will have a fun week over here though since this incident happened. I dunno, it could either be him turning 71 next month or the non-alcoholic beer that he was drinking while driving. He just doesn't want to listen to me! One day we will both be in a BAD accident, worse than this. I had a real funny feeling about everything this morning when my dad said he wanted to leave at 7am and it was almost 7:30 when we got on the road.

All jumbled up right now, this has been The Positive Hedgehog, ending on a not-so positive note, from JaSonic, who is now in Cape Cod and my dad thinks that we may not even stay here because of what just occurred. Just thank the God that I still have my life. My dad, though, I dunno if he should drive anymore.

Anyway, let's put that all aside right now... the most important part right now is that this hedgehog is safe.

'Lake George' on The Positive Hedgehog

Hi everyone! I am beginning this on the last day in Lake George. I actually don't know what to say right now, my mind is drawing a blank, although I will say this... depending on the weather to drive back to Canada during the day on Tuesday, my dad and I have a choice... either we can come on up again on Interstate 87 or take the scenic route (Route 9N). Seems likely that we may have to take the 87 because with a high possibility of a normal-to-strong thunderstorm, and my dad hates driving in the rain, we don't want to be driving on one-lane streets (that is one lane up and one lane down). I have been checking the weather for a good 15 minutes now, lol.

'Sleepless In Montreal opposed to Sleepless In Seattle' on The Positive Hedgehog

The reason I make that joke is because I stayed up overnight. I don't have to go to bed if I don't want to, right? Anyway, just to tell you all that last night, Wednesday night, I didn't go to the fireworks since it was 007 of James Bond that was the closing ceremonies of the fireworks competition. USA really did amaze me with 112% though. Philippines weren't that far behind with 110%. I guess Trump really wanted to blow the Philippines right out of the water, lol.

Anyway, I am going to bed right now. Can't wait until I do my show on The DJ Sonic Show this coming Friday night!

I just had 1 hour of sleep Thursday night into Friday and I still put on The DJ Sonic Show? How the frig am I able to do this, and it's past 7 hours and a half that I have been DJing for. SHEESH!!! I am really burning myself out here. It's to make my audience happy that I do this for. I really should have more good sleep though.

Very short entry on The Positive Hedgehog for Saturday evening

Yup, I got the rest that I really needed, almost 12 hours. I looked at the time though, and wanted to do another set to fill in for Whitefire and The Evilest Art Show, but nah... since I had a burn out, I want to relax until tomorrow when I do it all again... LIVE! But this time it won't be as long, and I am happy for that.

I guess I will sign off for now, but just to know that Sunday will be a fun day for me. Bye all.

'Doing an entry on Monday evening just because' on The Positive Hedgehog

I know that this coming weekend, August 3rd, 4th, and 5th, will be a heavy weekend for DJ Sonic since I will be doing some DJ work on Second Life and for other fuzzballs who want to listen in, and it's official that on Saturday night Whitefire has the whole month of August off from the Evilest Art Show because it was his finale on the 28th of July. I may do an extended show on Saturday and I will see what I can do for supper on that day. Romeo might do that rerun or a Best Of show from 3 until 6, but he told me that I could go on ahead and do my stuff. Of course you'll always be listening in, and I thank you for that.

Right now I am just downloading the whole collection of Mr. Bean episodes where 33 GBs is only going to take me 2 hours and a half to download with my Internet speeds that I got nowadays.

'AM stations, Boomer knows all about them it seems' on The Positive Hedgehog

I see a station here on AM in Newfoundland that is only 40 watts. 740 AM. Now, Boomer, I want to know if you really need a maximum of 1kW of power to be able to survive. As I turn back to the page, though, I am reminded that it's a Community radio station. I don't think 40 watts on AM is the same as 40 watts on FM. I am figuring that you may lose the signal more easily on AM with 40 watts if you're not near enough to the source.

Hey, since I wanted to write this privately to you, maybe I could make this my second entry to this week's blog. Sure, you could answer me privately on here or just wait to answer me over the air on Monday.

I just can't get enough of these frequencies, hehe. Now I see a 95.9 and a 98.1 and I am still looking at Newfoundland. I will keep this third entry short, so I will leave it off with the fact that I love radio frequencies, although I am sure I boasted about that before in a weekly blog.

'Italy Fireworks' on The Positive Hedgehog

I was debating on whether to go or not due to the weather since they called for 70% risk of thunderstorms in the evening, but eh when I went out and checked 530 AM for any static, there was hardly any, and this signaled me to go ahead to see the event. When I got to the station where the fireworks were happening, I avoided going on the bridge due to the slipping on the metal parts for the columns underneath the bridge. I am happy that I didn't go because midway through the fireworks, it started to rain, but I didn't have my rain jacket and it didn't matter. I welcome the rain since it wasn't coming down too hard. At the end of the event, it was coming down a bit harder, so I tried to get to the subway entrance as fast as I could. Now, as far as Italy was concerned this year, I give them a 40% and that's very low of a percentage. They didn't do very good. The synchronized music for the fireworks, though, was great! Now, back at the subway station I go to catch the bus home, it was wet, yes, but that didn't matter, it was not raining anymore, so I decided to go to the convenient store past my house and I bough almost $60 worth of snacks, lol. I then walked back to my place, still without any rain. I got Funny 820 AM on for a bit. I have got a lot of catching up to do, like unseen episodes of Keeping Up Appearances and Sonic X. Yes, I downloaded them thanks to Kickass Torrents and Qt Transmission.

I am now on the verge of getting ready for a busy weekend for DJ Sonic. I am excited to get going. My biggest challenge will be on Saturday, although starting Friday until Sunday, the big heat will come back to Montreal and I am not looking forward to that at all. I have a buffer on Thursday, today, and tomorrow until at least 7:30pm. While I type this, I feel an adrenaline rush.

Modification to Sunday

My dad really wants to take me down to Lake George this Sunday for 3 days, coming back Tuesday. I may have WiFi down there, but the thing here is that I need the WiFi to be good quality for me to stream, so here's what I will say to you at this point... keep 9550 open all day on Sunday, and when I am at the hotel in Lake George, I will E-Mail you again (if I can). I will let you know if I will be broadcasting Sunday night as well, okay? And if I broadcast, it will be at 10pm and I could possibly still relay Doggy Radio.

Some good Friday ramblings on The Positive Hedgehog

Well, early on this morning, I decided that it was a good idea to cancel my show for this weekend, and it will resume on the 10th, but just that Friday. Anyway, I will be getting my hair cut as soon as Saturday, going all bald like I usually do. I cut it late this year, but it's okay. Going down to Lake George on Sunday, and it will be just beautiful! Staying for 2 nights there, Sunday night and Monday night, coming back on Tuesday via Route 9N. There will be a pool there, so I will take full advantage of my stay.
