'Real activity happened on Tuesday' on The Positive Hedgehog

First of all, after Doggy Radio on Monday, I did some 'Sonic Adventures' before going to bed, and that was SWEET!!!

Now, I went to bed close to 4 in the morning this morning, Tuesday morning, and woke up at 8:45am, got dressed and set my laptop in the dining room since it was a day to paint all the doors. It was a good day to stay indoors as well. I went to McDonald's for lunch and this is the very first time that I had 91.7 WVMW from Scranton in PA playing for a good few hours via my TuneIn app. I adore their music! For anyone who wants to go on their website for a little alternative music, go to http://demo1.marywood.edu/

More from me in the coming days.

-------------------

'VMFM 91.7' on The Positive Hedgehog... EARLY Wednesday morning entry

Let me explain to everyone here, VMFM 91.7 *is* 91.7 WVMW in Scranton, and they do say "VMFM 91.7" on the air. DJ Sonic has a LOT of music from that station now since I have been listening to the station for hours upon hours now. I am raving about 91.7 right now because we have a 99.9 WBTZ in the area, but it's not close to the music that they play on WVMW!

Let me tell you how I found out about 91.7 WVMW - It was a good couple of years ago and they were broadcasting Christmas music just for one day, and that day was July 25th. The radio announcer at the time would come and say along the lines of, "Don't panic! This station will be playing Christmas music for one day only and tomorrow we will go back to your favorite alternative music station." or something like that. I sorta knew that this station would be kinda special after July 25th passed. I don't really remember if I listened to the station on the way back north on Interstate 81, but I think I did try to catch it. I think I did like what I heard because look where I am now... I have the TuneIn app looking at VMFM 91.7 and listening to it like a boss!

'Sitting here wondering about life' on The Positive Hedgehog

I just drank a bottle of beer and that created a bit of a buzz for me, but anyway. I am not drunk. My 20-inch Sonic is right here with me since I am sitting on my bed. Right now there has been KTLA News at 5pm PT, which Steve Wilkos was supposed to be on, but at around 8pm ET (5pm PT), they caught at arsonist that created a forest fire near Idyllwild in California that just grew to 3,000 acres, and is still growing in size. They dropped fire-retardant, yes, and that seems to be helping. I am now declaring the human race to be disgusting. I mean not all humans are disgusting... mainly me since I just have sex with a Sonic plush toy and I don't go out of my way to create any forest fires since that really is a criminal act... Having sex with a Sonic plush toy, on the other hand, is not a criminal act, so people hating on me having sex with Sonic, I say SHAME ON YOU because it's not like I have sex with a real life child. I am a fricken plushophile, not a pedophile. I also know more people like me, and I am very happy that I know them. So people that doesn't want to understand what us plushophiles love doing, I say PHOOEY ON YOU!!!

Rant closed. But yeah, back to the forest fires - because it's the middle of the week, I guess it doesn't mean anything that it's the middle of the week. Over here in Montreal, though, it's been quite uncomfortable over the past few day, and I just saw the temperature for Palm Springs for Thursday... 119, YIKES!!! The 'Movies In The Park' tonight (Wednesday night) was moved to tomorrow due to weather. I have watched the movie that they are going to present to us since I have downloaded the movie already: Ready Player One. It's a video game based movie, so I won't spoil it for anyone. Right now I am just downloading Isle of Dogs since I just thought about it since you guys on Doggy Radio hyped the movie up, and then I see that the movie is a 2011 movie. Another rant begins HERE! How the heck can there be an Isle of Dogs showing at a movie theater when it's 2018?! A FRIGGAN 7 YEARS LATER!!! But wait, I guess you guys just bought it on DVD or what? Anyway, I like to rant, but not for too long because then it may turn into drama and this hedgehog is not all about drama.

And yes, there was NO fireworks tonight. Not because of the weather, no, but it's just because it was just not scheduled for tonight. The next competitor is the United States on Saturday night and the BEST position to be watching the fireworks is on the bridge, and this will be my third time on the bridge.

About the 'Movies In The Park', I still am thinking of going and my friend, Charlie, is not going to be coming with me due to the high humidity - forecast as of right now is telling me 82 with a heat index of 99 in the afternoon for Thursday and the evening will be 77 with a heat index of 91, and don't forget about all the mosquitoes as well, so yeah, not the right conditions for him to be out with me since he has a restrictive lung disease, which is sad, but the good news is that he's still chugging along and is in very high spirits... so that's awesome. He just can't do everything that a 'normal' person gets to do. Not saying that he's not normal, it's just this disease... he can really do without it, ya know? Sometimes life does really suck.

That's all for now, there's a nice long entry for you all to read.

-------------------

'Isle of Dogs rant' on The Positive Hedgehog

Almost said "Sonic the Hedgehog" instead of The Positive Hedgehog there, lol

Anyway, Isle of Dogs... just what in the heck did I just watch?! I mean seriously, it begins with a guy shooting a Golden Retriever with a gun and it ends with a woman shooting the man. I mean WHAT THE HELL?!?!?! What a weird movie. I think I got the movie plot though, but everything about it was so weird though. I don't know if I saw the same exact movie that Boomer & Ricochet saw since it was a 2011 movie. I just figured that since I have missed that Ready Player One movie shown tonight at Movies In The Park, I would watch Isle of Dogs instead. I did download Ready Player one late Tuesday night, early Wednesday morning and decided to watch the movie at 4:08am, lol, and I didn't even know that it was a whopping 2 hours and 20 minutes. Anyway, back to Isle of Dogs... I still don't know if I downloaded the right movie. Can there be only one Isle of Dogs or is there a more recent one than 2011?

-------------------

'Isle of Dogs rant PART 2: Code AMZN' on The Positive Hedgehog

WOW! What a change between the 2011 movie and the 2018 one. First of all, I can't believe I made that rant on the 2011 one since that movie was HARDLY about dogs at all and they were speaking British in that movie, lol. I absolutely ADORED the 2018 one! The stop animation on those dogs were SPOT ON! And notice that I use the word "Spot" as in "Spotsu" or *ahem* umm just watch the movie and you all will catch on to what I am trying to say here. The reason I wrote "Code AMZN" in the title of this entry is because Boomer gave me a clue on how to find it since he uses the same torrent site that I now use, thanks to him... Good dog, Boomer! Anyway, I won't reveal too much of the movie, but all I have to say is that the movie is AWESOME and you all should go see it. I am raving about it! I love dogs also, and this stop animation really made them look too real. I can understand why Ricochet saw the movie 12 times... sort of like when I went to see Over the Hedge in the theaters 12 times way back when. This movie, Isle of Dogs, should blow the socks off at the Box Office. That Nutmeg, boy what a cute dog. I love the ears on her! I will be erasing the 2011 one because that one is just a negative movie I feel where it starts with shooting and killing a Golden Retriever. I only have positive hype over the 2018 one as there is no killing of animals WHATSOEVER! The only thing that was annoying was the fact that I had to turn the volume down on my TV (was watching the movie via HDMI) because of the drums that play ever now and then, but then it was like 4:15 in the morning when I started the movie and I didn't want to wake my dad up. I will probably watch the movie again since I now have the movie in my grasp! I am also downloading Fantastic Mr. Fox since I have not seen that movie yet, but I will soon, maybe on the weekend after my DJ set. I am very happy that I saw Isle of Dogs though.

Positive rant over on The Positive Hedgehog.

-------------------

'14 is the magic number' on The Positive Hedgehog

I told Boomer that I would be writing this entry later on during the day, but nah I decided to write it now. The reason that I say 14 is the magic number is because for the 7 hours that I did my DJ session on The DJ Sonic Show, I was up at like 13 to 14 listeners pretty fast. And oh, I also would like to say that stuff has only been going in the 'up' position lately since I finished watching Isle of Dogs and, just before going on the air, Fantastic Mr. Fox, one of the owners at Club Aquarius fixed the DJ (or radio) board to include that 9550 port off of boomerthedog.com. I was really happy since now it looks like that I am one of the official DJs for Friday night. I might be the only DJ for Fridays, I'm not sure. I am also very glad that my laptop didn't crash on me for a 2nd week, so yeah it is WinAmp's fault I did crash when I was playing at Planet Serenity.

Stay tuned for more entries, perhaps one later today or tomorrow, Sunday..

-------------------

'Fireworks Saturday' on The Positive Hedgehog

It's now Sunday morning when I am writing this. United States didn't disappoint me one bit! Philippines last Saturday was outstanding, yes, but the country under me, USA, blew them out of the water! My percentage for the Philippines was 110%, right? Well, the country under me came in with a 112% since they really gave it that added 2% oompf! Anyway, before that - way before that, my dad had to go somewhere, to a restaurant with some friends of ours, but I stayed back because where he was going, I would have never made it back in time to see the fireworks, so he went without me. I go outside to wait for the bus at 7:30 and what do I see? Some pretty nasty storm clouds approaching from the west, so I am trying to figure out what to do. I mean I brought my rain jacket, so it was all good, I just didn't want anything bad happening to me while I was to go on the bridge for a 3rd time. So, I get to the subway station for the fireworks and I notice that it's very wet outside, but what I didn't realize was that the storm passed right over the city while I was underground. I was wearing my rain jacket for no apparent reason thinking that the east was the west, but nope lol. There were a lot of shadflies (there are many terms for these pests though) that were bugging me everywhere I went on the bridge, but 5 to 10 minutes later, they stopped. Anyway, I had to watch out for my footing because the metal plates that cars run over (metal plates that hold a column below the bridge) were kind of slippery and I semi lost my footing getting on the bridge and then going off the bridge where my shorts almost came down - IN PUBLIC! That would have embarrassed the heck out of me. Anyway, while going up on the span, I was thinking to myself, "Why the frick am I going on the bridge when it just rained? Parts of the bridge might be slippery." and I was right, but I managed.

But yeah, I will leave it there. I had a real good time DJing on Friday night for 7 whole hours, and that 14 listeners really astonished me. =D

I think I know what "Peak Listeners" is now... it's when listeners come and peek at what you're streaming, but I don't know, lol, nah that's not it... that's what Boomer made me think! Clever dog, that Boomer.

Thanks as always to Romeo for putting on a great show as we both are DJs at heart. He does more furry music and I do EDM, oldies, classic rock, and some music from radio stations and from shows like Doggy Radio since DJ Sonic has a 'Doggy Radio' category. Yes, I do take requests. I usually am on both Telegram and Second Life at the same time since I am officially their Friday night DJ over at Club Aquarius. Bye gang.

The Positive Hedgehog / JaSonic / DJ Sonic signing out.

The Positive Hedgehog for a very warm Monday evening, July 23, 2018

The Positive Hedgehog for a very warm Monday evening

Pretty wild night tonight amidst all the AM static from the sky all around me as I took out my walkman while I was going to the convenient store because I was having a 'sweet tooth' moment, and I got what I needed, but before I got in the store, I was doing some DXing and there came this faint signal from Atlanta, which is 1225 miles south of here. I was amazed! The frequency: 750 AM with the call letters WSB. I need to do some more DXing like this on AM more often! I love hearing from far away stations. I am wondering if I can get 1540 from The Bahamas, but I was listening to 1540 some other night, and it was another station instead, which kind of sucks.

Anyway, after I got out of the store with my 2 bags of candy, I tried 750 WSB again, and it was still there, but the signal got too faint at one point and I lost it. I rolled down the dial to 630 AM where there used to be french content from Sherbrooke, east of here. There were 2 stations in 1 on 630 AM. One was like talk radio and the other one was country. All this while I was getting static left right and center, and the thunderstorm cells were well to the south into New York state and well to the west into Ontario. There was also a cell well to the northeast of here in my province of Quebec, that's east of North Bay and well to the north of Ottawa in Ontario. I turned my walkman off since I didn't want to run the chance to get struck my lightning. DXing in my own city is fun, I just don't do it enough.

-----------------------

'International Fireworks Competition by Loto-Quebec' on The Positive Hedgehog

Wow! Where do I start? I started at 7pm Wednesday evening and went to see if my Action Center friend, Melissa, was on the bus, but she wasn't. I continued to the subway and went to my 'fireworks' stop, and before the fireworks, like 2 hours before they started, I went to McDonald's and had 3 spicy crispy buffalo chicken poutines! Man, were they good! While I was eating, there was some police activity in the area. They were beginning to close the area down from having cars in the area (open to pedestrians only). When I finished, I began to walk to where I normally walk, but no, this time I thought of doing something special and I never did this before, but I turned back and turned to go up the street from McDonald's and that road is the main access point to the bridge over the small island that has the fireworks. Now, I didn't know this at the time, but I was going to be more closer to the fireworks than ever before, but I wasn't nervous. I wanted to see is the explosions would be louder or not.

Poutines, Wikipedia

Anyway, there was a lot more police activity on the bridge to prevent cars (and in this time and age - terrorism, although there's a pretty low risk of that over here) on. Also, they set up a checkpoint at the starting of the bridge to check bags. I was on the bridge and in position by 9:15 to 9:20pm. The temperature was falling just a bit, but jimmy crack corn and I don't care, lol. No, I really didn't care. For some odd reason, the fireworks were sounding a bit quieter while I was on the bridge, and I was closer to them as well. When the fireworks ended, I walked off the bridge. It took 20 minutes, but then again I will say it again, jimmy crack corn and I don't care. Got to the subway station at 11 and I am safely back home now.

WOW! WHAT A NIGHT!!! :D Stay tuned for more later on...

-----------------------

'GREAT SHOW!!!' on The Positive Hedgehog

It's now after 3am on Sunday morning when the rain is supposed to come at around 9, and we really need a good soaking over here since it's been bone dry for the last few weeks. Anyway, yeah since the title of this entry is 'GREAT SHOW!!!', I will tell you all the the Philippines stunned the heck out of this hedgehog! Very loud KABOOMS in the air, and it was even loud on the bridge this time. My walkman didn't stand a chance having maxxed out my volume during the event. Even the radio announcer for 105.7 FM was really astonished! That was *THE* show to see because out of every fireworks show that I saw up to Saturday night's show, this one was the VERY best. A few of them in the past scored a 70%, 80% and even 90%, but this one was the ONE - 110%!!! I don't think anything can beat that with the way the fireworks went and the very loud booms. Nearing the end, it was very smoky and I smelled a bit of the smoke. The musical selection was movie soundtracks, music from TV series, and even some video game music (Super Mario Bros. to name a few) was thrown in there. I heard that and Pokemon, which was cool.

Anyway, when I came back home, instead of coming right back home on the bus, I went to the bus stop closest to the convenient store and walked the rest of the way there. I got myself some Diet Pepsi and 2 bags of candy, the gummy and licorice kind. Now, while I was coming back home, I didn't get 750 AM from Atlanta, but I did get some call letters right away when I flipped the dial to 830 AM. WCRN! When I came home, I got on my computer and noticed that it was coming from Worcester in MA. News/Talk radio during the day, music during the night. I also got 790 AM, but try to listen to that when it's interfered with CJAD 800 AM, lol. 790 was coming in nice and strong, too, it looked like.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday looks like pretty good thunderstorms for the entire week ahead, so I better get ready. OH! This hedgehog now has Instagram so for those of you who find me pretty interesting, you all can find me if you type in "sonicfreak1977".

Anyway, since it is Sunday, I think I will leave it at that for this week since it will be a pretty lazy Sunday for me. Have a very good week everyone and stay tuned for next week! I also want to thank everyone who has been listening to The DJ Sonic Show (Now in >>>>>STEREO<<<<< since when I did some of my iVlog shows, my music was just in mono and I didn't like that for the people who was coming to my show). I also want to thank Boomer for helping me get set up with the 9550 port that he opened for my show, the creation of http://www.boomerthedog.com/sonicstream.html (which, in fact, he has to insert some more of my graphics that I gave him), and for Romeo Rabbit for his show since he's a great inspiration to everyone. I am trying to think of what more to say. Doggy Radio really is a great show! Every show on the Pawpet Broadcasting Network is a great show - a round of applause to you guys!!! Yeah, have a great week and I will stay tuned to those thunderstorms since I love thunderstorms.

This is The Positive Hedgehog with your host JaSonic (AND DJ Sonic on most Fridays and/or Saturdays) signing off for this week.

------------------

Addendum

Don't listen to me when I am saying the weather in my own city. The weather for this week is always changing, so what I said before to you about thunderstorms for the whole week ahead is FAKE NEWS!

------------------

Another addendum, if you please!

After supper on Sunday night, I went to the grocery store to get some more Diet Pepsi, since I want to be kept alert during the night, and some rice pudding. I still have half of a bag of gummy candy to munch on during my furry programming tonight, but this is not what I wanted to talk about.

1480 CKAN from Newmarket, Ontario. Now a defunct radio station. No more AM radio stations it seems, or less of them since more and more stations are heading to FM. THEY WANT TO BE IN STEREO!!! And I can understand the want in that because I guess if they get kept on AM, they're in mono and they will get left out. You know what should go on AM? Talk radio, or 24 hours 7 days a week news stations. So here I am, listening to 1480, all the way home, and it was coming in as good as it could, only to know that it wasn't CKAN that I was listening to. I don't know where that 1480 was coming from, but it's like it was coming in faintly, but then there wasn't any normal AM static at all in the background, which, to me, was weird.

Anyway, yeah enough from me. That sign off that I first put before these 2 addendums will be kept in place right after these 2 bonus entries.

The Positive Hedgehog for July 16, 2018

Jul 15 2018

The Positive Hedgehog - This entry will be quite special!

A friend of ours invited us to go somewhere, and it was a surprise for both me and my dad. He brought us very close to the US border, to an ex-boss of my dad's for a job that he used to do. My dad is retired now. Anyway, I was greeted with some chickens and 2 baby raccoons, and those raccoons were friendly as hell. Yes, they wanted to get on the table for food, but we all wouldn't let them. They were brother and sister. I held the sister and it was a very beautiful moment. I was holding a baby raccoon! Never before in my life have I held any raccoons before. After I came back home, I still had some energy to have a small Nuit Blanche. Anyway, enough rambling about that, now it's time to mention the link to The DJ Sonic Show...

Most Friday and/or Saturday nights, Fridays starting at 8pm ET and Saturdays starting at 10pm ET.

Link: http://boomerthedog.com:9550/listen.pls (you need a media player to listen to my show)

That's it for now, I'll have more for you guys a bit later.

------------------------------------

Sunday ramblings on The Positive Hedgehog

I completely forgot to tell you guys that there is now a secondary way on how to access DJ Sonic's stream, and Boomer set it up for me, and I thanked him for this... http://www.boomerthedog.com/sonicstream.html

Also, I would like to thank everyone to bring my numbers up from 4 to 7 this past Friday. I am thinking of canceling my Saturday night ones just because I am up against Furry Game Night. Sure, I want everyone to have a choice, and I know that Boomer is always there listening to me play, but that's not good enough. It's not that I feel discouraged or anything, and I know it's not a competition, but I think Boomer is right when he told me that Friday nights is the best time slot for me since it's the beginning of something beautiful over the weekend. DJ Sonic just wants to start people off in the right direction, with good EDM, good furry music, good soca or reggae, and more. Hell, I even take requests, and I did play Dogtown by Yoko Ono when he was the only listener early Sunday morning. At one point, I had 3 listeners, but nah still not good enough. I'm a tough hedgehog it seems.

Anyway, I love you guys! Romeo, Boomer, Ricochet, the cast of Oh! Pawpets and the Evilest Art show, Woulfe from The Woulfe Pack, and everyone in the FPS chat on Telegram and Pawpet IRC.

Have a good week everyone! This is JaSonic for The Positive Hedgehog, DJ Sonic for The DJ Sonic Show, and I am signing off for this week.

Overnight blogging (Monday-Tuesday) on The Positive Hedgehog

First, I would like to tell you guys what happened on Sunday (June 24th). I slipped and fell down on some mud since there was some light rain showers happening at the time. Scraped my knee pretty good. It was awfully painful, but I am really glad that I did not cry.

Now, going into Monday - I listened to Doggy Radio as planned, and then after Doggy, I turned off the transmitter to Sonic 95. Now, Monday evening is the best since I wanted to go on a CASINO Nuit Blanche. Now, we do have a casino here, but nowhere near as Las Vegas where they are just bustling with them left right and center. They are making improvements to the inside of the casino though. I just wanted to see where the buffet restaurant is situated in the building. The restaurant is called "PAVILLON 67" ( https://casinos.lotoquebec.com/en/montreal/explore/restaurants/pavillon-67). There was a little sign outside the restaurant that displayed what they have inside and let me tell you something - it looks GOOD! I will see about going there on July 5th (right before my dad and I go up north for the Mont-Tremblant Blues Festival the next day). Thursdays are the BEST days to go because you will find out what is served on those days. Anyway, yes enough about the casino although I love talking about the casino since all the casino noises, especially from the slot machines. The bus that you take from the subway station to the casino, you'll never guess what number they have used... 777! Yup, you saw that right... Lucky #7. I love that they used that number because you can get that immediate casino feeling when you see that number on the bus.

Now, I might be blogging later on during the week, but then again I may blog this weekend when it will be in the 90- to 95-degree mark on the thermometer. 100 with the heat...UGH!!! OK that is all for now.

---------------------------

Overnight blogging yet again (Tuesday into Wednesday) on The Positive Hedgehog

I am getting used to a very good bus that maybe takes an extra 5 or 10 minutes to get to the subway, but who gives a flying fudge if the weather outside is just gorgeous? Before I went to the bus stop, the grocery store is between my house and the bus stop, so that is a very good excuse for me to get 6-packs of Diet Pepsi every time I go for the bus stop. Anyway, I wanted to take my usual buses again, but I did a mistake by taking the wrong bus... that's okay though, I didn't let my own mistake get to me. In the weather department, I am looking forward to that 90% risk of thunderstorms on Thursday, but I dunno what's wrong with Montreal since it seems that there is a bubble of the whole city and the weather passes above and around our city. I'll see if it happens or not, but for now, this is JaSonic signing off for now.

---------------------------

The Positive Hedgehog - A little extra blogging for Wednesday morning

I pull up the weather app, and what do I see for Sunday's forecasted high? A stifling 97 with a heat index of 117! Never before have I seen those temperatures in my own city in my life! I need to relax that day, perhaps go to the beach and get some relief. Either that or just go to the local mall and get out of the heat, because I know that my ceiling fan will NOT be any match for the heat. During the evening (while I have my furry programming - The Rabbit Hole, Radiolawn, and Doggy Radio), the temperature won't go down below 80, and with the heat index, it'll be 95. You'll have one sweaty hedgehog listening to the show. Anyway, that's all I have to say for now.

---------------------------

'Butt' on The Positive Hedgehog

Yes sirree! It's overnight blogging for a 3rd time in a row. During the day on Wednesday, mainly in the afternoon into the evening, Boomer was helping me set up some broadcasting stuff so if, by any chance, Romeo takes a week off, DJ Sonic would be able to cover for him. Now, Step 1 was to download the program and Step 2 was to get Stereo Mix for my laptop because I didn't have it before. Both Step 1 and Step 2 was done all on my own, and I am quite content. My music isn't gapping or anything just because I did install Stereo Mix - I mean it shouldn't, right? Anyway, I am happy right now because I can I love the LED VU levels. Great software! Boomer did tell me that he had a boombox that only displayed red as a VU meter, but it's so much better with the green/yellow/red Christmas tree just like at a drag race track. Much better because that can let you know how loud you're broadcasting at. With a red-only VU meter, you only can tell if you're playing too loud when the meter goes off the display, which isn't too good.

I will sign off for now since I would like to be on standby for maybe a test stream.

---------------------------

'Small 1-watt FM transmitter slowly annoying me' on The Positive Hedgehog

Yup, the USB port that connects the transmitter to another source of power is getting kind of a faulty connection, so I have to make sure that it's pushed all the way in or else the lithium battery drains and shuts the transmitter off automatically. Even while I sleep. Like I just turned my radio on today at 7:25pm to only here static on 95.5 FM whereas SiriusXM should be playing. and that means the USB wire wasn't pushed in properly.

Yes, another rant by JaSonic, but yeah this is frustrating me slowly.

---------------------------

'Butt is working good with just going to the second yellow without going into red' on The Positive Hedgehog

I didn't want to just write in to Boomer about this. I rethought my thinking process and yeah I rather tell you all about this because it's something that I am really into besides being really into Sonic. I took a trip with my dad to Hawkesbury in Ontario and went to a Dollar Tree over there. I was so eager to go, but before I got there, I was DJing in the car for myself and Butt was a new feature. Holy cow, I put the scroll (-24dB / +24dB) a bit lower than in the middle an guess what... it just hits to the first (+1) and second (3) yellow on both channels with NEVER the red (6), which I don't want. I don't want to distort my music on the stream when I am able to play for you guys. I am very glad that it never touched the red LED on neither of the channels.

Anyway, I am still excited to get this going and play for you all. Stay tuned for more ramblings.

---------------------------

'Fright night on PBN!' on The Positive Hedgehog

This is my debut on PBN! I did have trouble in the past with my stream while I was on Second Life and using Shoutcast with WinAmp, but yeah I did hear that some other people did have trouble in the past with that. I use VLC Player, actually 2 VLC Players and I play between them, immediately starting the next song in the other player to avoid dead air. I know that Boomer really enjoyed my test stream overnight Thursday into Friday. I will see if that 9550 link can only look at my IP address at my house, if that can be managed, so that no hackers get onto the stream and start broadcasting crap on that link.

---------------------------

The Positive Hedgehog - A few pictures of me broadcasting...

Well, I gave Boomer a few pictures of me broadcasting Friday and Saturday nights. A freak thunderstorm popped up on radar and what do you know, it was BOUND to happen. I lost power for about 10 to 15 minutes. I just hope all the fuzzies appreciate all the music that I am playing.

Anyway, here is the image for tonight, being Saturday...

---------------------------

The Positive Hedgehog - Sunday morning DJing on Sonic 95!

Here is my wallpaper for Sunday morning...

---------------------------

'Battery icon yet again' on The Positive Hedgehog (Sunday rambling)

And, the reason I am on battery this time, and I have a great excuse this time, is because I didn't want to plug my laptop in during the small car ride to my friend's place since they don't live too far from my dad and I. They have a pool out here and we really needed to make a splash in the pool. It's 91 right now and 109 with the heat index... TOO hot!

Well, I think I wrote a lot this week, starting at the beginning of the week and then becoming an online DJ for PBN. Weee! That was fun!!! I didn't DJ once for all you guys, but TWICE... Friday and Saturday! I hope I can be involved in the PBN a lot more sing I adore music! Anyway... fun stuff! And on that note...

This has been The Positive Hedgehog.

Sonic out.
