The Positive Hedgehog for NEW YEAR'S DAY! But a week ago, on Christmas Day

As Boomer forgot to say, I am DJing on Sonic 95 in the dining room, so yeah a little DJ set of my best EDM before my dad and I go for lunch at Buffet Fu Lam as a Christmas gift to the both of us. I am really not tired right now since I am now working off of Diet Pepsi and not Monster since I told you all last week that the grocery store was closed and that I have forgotten to buy some at the convenient store. Thursday morning ramblings

I told Boomer that I will make this short and sweet since you got your SPECIAL New Year's Day coverage to do. I went out with my dad Wednesday at noon to a sushi fusion place called Kanda, and yeah I remember talking about this before. My sleeping patterns have been off nowadays, but it's fine. Right now, though, I drank a beer and that made me feel woozy, but it's all good because Sonic's ALWAYS there to help me feel better... I don't really like to feel woozy. This is Thursday, so I might do so more ramblings between today and the last day of 2017. Right now I am just all over the place, hehe. Was thinking of doing some ramblings on Wednesday, but that didn't happen. That will be it for now.

Saturday morning ramblings

Well I just did my grocery list for New Year's Day, and here's what I jotted down...

6 round cheeses

5 6-packs of Diet Pepsi

3 ULTRA BLUE Monster

Gummi chews (full bag)

Pabst Blue Ribbon

And this has been the VERY last entry of the year since this hedgehog just wants to relax and let New Year's Eve 2017 into 2018 to settle in. My dad and I will be heading over to some friends to celebrate with them where we will be diving in to some great eats! I will be bringing over Sonic 95 so I could DJ some great music for the others. My friends told me that there really is no room to set my Logitech sound system up, and that is okay by me.

Thank you guys for having my ramblings up this year and I will be continuing them next year, and the year after, and so fourth until I get tired, which I don't see that happening anytime soon. Romeo, thanks for everything and have a safe and happy new year, my bunny friend.

Saturday afternoon ramblings

P.S. I wish I didn't have to lie about this morning's ramblings being the last rambling of 2017, but I have some more ramblings to do. Fuck yeah!

Well, I got up and my dad drove me over to the store, I picked up my stuff, but first I had to renew my bus pass for next month. I picked up all that was on the grocery list, but two things have changed. Instead of 4 Monster ULTRA BLUE (since there were 2 missing), I got the 2 last ULTRA BLUE and 2 Java Monster (coffee) FUCK YEAH! and I had to put the gummi chews away because the price that I was going to pay was a whopping $135, so I gave back the chews and it went down to $100. Still, that is the most that I paid as far as groceries are concerned. Fuck yeah! I could just get the chews next week. Fuck yeah!

NOW it's time to really say goodbye to 2017 - We'll miss you, NOT! Fuck yeah! I'm sure people had a lot of bad things happen to them within the year. Fuck yeah!

The Positive Hedgehog RIGHT after Doggy Radio

Oh wow! DJing on Sonic 95 right now in the dining room. Yes, right before the technician gets here. I will be having NEW WiFi. The network name will stay at 'Sonic', and I am very happy about that. I dunno though since my 'Sonic' network will perhaps gonna be changed, but I will ask the technician if I can keep that network name. So yeah Monday after Doggy Radio is getting off to a great start! I will ramble more later on during the day maybe, I'll see.

Monday & Tuesday (into Wednesday) ramblings

Monday morning after Doggy Radio, I was BLAZING Monster and decided to go in the living room and did some of my own DJing on Sonic 95, but what I didn't know was that I was going to be DJing for almost 7 hours, but I wasn't counting the hours because I was having so much fun... I think it was a bit after 7 hours. I now have fast Internet, YES I finally upgraded! No more (I think, and I hope I am right about this) will I have anymore WiFi problems or having the modem suddenly reboot unexpectingly between the 1st hour of Doggy Radio.

Now, on Tuesday, I didn't go to the Action Center so I am officially on my Christmas vacation. On Telegram, I was discussing my ideas on my next iVlog show and probably broadcast the music on my radio station to a friend of mine and that got me thinking of doing another DJ set on my station during the night, and this is what I am doing. I have a picture showing you guys the wallpaper that I use when I DJ either on my radio station or not, but usually it will be on my station. I don't really mind if no one listens, I just want to put my FM transmitter to very good use, and who knows, maybe people are listening to my station. So yeah, it's like 6 minutes to midnight into Wednesday so I will definitely be DJing on my station clearly way after midnight. GAWD I love music so much!!!

Wednesday morning rambling for The Positive Hedgehog

I am just soooo friggin glad that my laptop doesn't have gaps in the audio anymore, and this is why I am trying to DJ a bit more on my own station, and a few moments ago I asked my Montreal friends if they would wan me to raise my signal from 1 watt to a whopping 500 watts. Now, there's a station, CBC Radio One on 88.5 that is 800 watts, so I wouldn't be too far behind. I don't really know how to go about doing this, but I will find a way. I want Sonic 95 to have a bright future, and 2018 isn't too far away. I will just see what people say in the coming days and if I get really positive feedback, I will really put it to consideration.

After doing a 6-hour long DJ set, I had some fun with Sonic, and then right after, I went back to DJing on Sonic 95, lol. I want to really tire myself out and I just don't feel tired right now, and it's closing on 7 in the morning.

At 10:57pm, I decided to DJ yet again on Sonic 95. As Boomer said to me before, with all this DJing, I need a hell of a lot of music to play, but don't you worry Boomer because DJ Sonic has like 9,000+ songs in his directory, so I think he's good. Didn't do anything special today though. I will be DJing from now until 5 in the morning where I wanna watch the New York City News on PIX11 then since my dad unblocked those 4 US stations again.

It's been almost a full week of DJing on Sonic 95, lol. Also, I made it special tonight, I started DJing at 7:53 tonight and opened my show the usual way with my opening song right at 8pm. Played on my station while I was doing my whole iVlog stream. Ended my show at around 9:30, but kept on playing on Sonic 95. More later...

EARLY Sunday morning ramblings

Last night I played a bit of Furry Game Night since I told Steelwoulfe that I wanted to go do other stuff. I still love Quiplash though since I still have the "Quiplash Twitch" and "Jackbox.TV" bookmarked on my browser. It will be a bit icy when I go get my groceries, or maybe I will be wrong... we'll see what Sunday brings in terms of weather. Maybe my dad will give me a lift if it is too icy outside for me. Anyway, I love you all and I will chime in again a little later on...

Sunday evening ramblings. This entry is for CHRISTMAS DAY!!!

Starting off the evening by getting out of bed at 5:57pm after going to bed at 8 in the morning, which is nuts in my father's eyes, but I will go to bed when I only feel tired. Had to go to the convenient store a bit further away since the regular grocery store closed at 5pm today due to it being Christmas Eve. A little extra walk never hurt anyone, but the cold snap, I could have done without. Without telling you what I bought, I wanna tell all of you that I do have nice goodies with me right now, and without all the cheese that I wanted to have and also forgot to buy Monster, I know they have it at the convenient store, just forgot to buy it. Now I'm DJing on Sonic 95 until Romeo takes over its airwaves. I started it off with some VNV Nation and Perpetual! Gawd I love that song. Ricochet, thanks for that song, man! Also, that Illusion song. Thanks to Boomer to all those Krewella songs. He gave me two long continuous mixes, and with that I chose the ones that I really enjoyed and downloaded those individually.

The Positive Hedgehog would like to say that the author of these ramblings had a real good year for himself despite the snow, it is winter after all and I have to expect that to happen. Before I sign off, my dad is treating me to a Christmas Day buffet at a restaurant that I haven't been in a loooong while! Buffet Fu Lam (Chinese buffet). We're going by 1pm. In between that and after Doggy Radio, I will be DJing on Sonic 95. There was a lot of Christmas music on The Rabbit Hole, so I will be playing my own music, and it'll be party music also. Christmas is a time to celebrate.

Sunday morning ramblings for the entire past week in The Positive Hedgehog for 12-18-2017

To start, not much was done Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, but when it came to Friday, I was invited to do some DJing from 6 until 10pm (4 hours) at a Christmas party where 60 people showed up. I didn't think I was going to do too well, but amazingly about 5 to 10 people danced on the dance floor before and after supper. There was a game that went on, so I sat idling for about half an hour. That's okay, I was very happy to do this. My dad came to pick me up to go home.

Saturday, I didn't do anything much and spent quite a few hours on Second Life. Didn't even feel like playing any Furry Game Night since I wanted to relax, and I even informed Steelwoulfe about that.

Sunday, I will see about going to the store for some goodies while I listen to The Rabbit Hole, Radiolawn, and Doggy Radio. I will have to stay awake for a part of the day after Doggy Radio ends like at 6 or 7am on Monday morning because my dad and I will be getting an upgrade to our Internet, Phone, and TV, which will be awesome because that means there might not be anymore problems with WiFi over here and no more worrying about the abrupt cut-offs in between 3 and 4am. For that, I need about 2 Monster drinks, maybe 3, I'm not sure.

The Positive Hedgehog - Right after Doggy Radio

So I heard Boomer ask me if I was going to be DJing on Sonic 95 right after the show, but no I didn't feel like it since I was having fun with Sonic all through the show. This was not the goal when I did finish 2 cans of Monster ULTRA BLUE 2 hours before Doggy Radio, actually I don't know how I was still fully awake while not drinking anything during the show and even the tail end of the show. I guess that saved me from going to the bathroom while the show was on. This was a short Monday morning rambling. More possibly this afternoon.

The Positive Hedgehog at the Action Center (11-28) - Tuesday afternoon rambling

It's now passed exercise class time at 3:35pm and I am just playing some songs from my laptop speakers, still being DJ Sonic here. Might be softer for the people further away from my laptop, and this is where my Logitech system comes in. I usually do use my Logitech system during the class and ONLY class time since the volunteers need to hear the adaptive transport drivers. Maybe I will ramble on a bit more later, we'll see.

Wednesday night ramblings on The Positive Hedgehog

Now, on to today, Wednesday. I feel like I just get better and better at the teching job each week I come in. Sure, Kevin and I, along with Gary, joke a lot when the microphones aren't on, but we all have fun, even when the mics ARE on. Sometimes we improvise some, but we usually follow the run sheet. Update for you guys, and this was a few months ago that he resigned, but the co-founder of The Avalanche went on to see if he could start up a business of his own dealing with selling stuff on eBay and getting some money for it, and by golly I think it's really working for him and I am happy for the guy. I thing 3 of us could keep The Avalanche going. Like I said to Boomer, I like doing radio, and I told the news coordinator of CKUT that when the weather is bad to not expect me to come in. Even when it's slushy conditions, that hill that I have to walk up is a steep enough incline that I can fall down and I 'walk like a penguin' when I walk up that hill, and I just don't want to challenge that hill anymore when it snows because I am thinking that if I fall down, I might get all wet and I wouldn't want to do a show on CKUT when I am all wet... I'd be shivering in the studio. Time for me to get on Second Life, so that's all for now.

The Positive Hedgehog for Sunday, the 3rd of December

I will start by saying this past Friday afternoon after I came back from the Action Center, in which I had to DJ the whole entire day since the other DJ that I am managing, Shawn, wasn't in. That wasn't the best part though... I went on an UNOFFICIAL Nuit Blanche, but only until 11:30. I want to get out once and a while. It doesn't feel good to be in the house all the time. Saturday was great since I went to the mall with my friend, Chuck. It was a nice day. Cold, but nice. Today, on Sunday, I will be going to get some groceries for tonight's furry programming. I know that Steelwoufe is at MFF, so there was no Furry Game Night whatsoever, so I decided to listen to the Saturday Night Safety Dance last night for quite a few hours until I wanted to go to bed. I had a good sleep.

Christmas is coming up soon since the days are just flying by here. 2018 is very soon! This year, my friends invited my dad and I to a New Year's Eve bash, but I want to celebrate it with you guys on Doggy Radio / New Year's Eve SPECIAL with you, Boomer, and Ricochet, and the people that will be celebrating with us on Pawpet IRC. Either that or I might just want to DJ on my own radio station that evening with BLASTING LOUD music. Right now, at 11am, I am just checking if there's any gaps in my music because I need to tell all of you that I accidently spilled some Coke on some parts of my keyboard, and on Friday there were gaps in my music while I was DJing - every 3 to 4 songs there was a few seconds gap, but right now I am testing my music out on Auxiliary (not on Sonic 95) and I am very happy to tell you that this was an isolated incident that this happened... maybe a bad Windows session (since that can happen at times). Hopefully it doesn't happen in the future because I have booked DJ Sonic for a Christmas party this coming Saturday and then another Christmas party after the Action Center for the following Friday. I also have to call a restaurant for a possible DJ position at a New Year's Eve bash for 2018/2019. They already do have someone for this year though. I just thought that since everyone at the Action Center loves DJ Sonic's music that he could please other people at a New Year's Eve bash.

Before I sign out, I thought of an idea - Since I bought a 12-pack of Pabst (and Ricochet, I LIKE THE BEER!!! I love the taste.), I will be going to that invite on December 31st, but I will be buying another 12-pack of Pabst Blue Ribbon since I love the taste so much. I will be thinking of you guys that Sunday night into Monday. Dunno if you guys will be going on with Doggy Radio though. This does make me think about The Rabbit Hole as well. I am thinking that he may not be doing a show that evening because he might wanna celebrate it his own way, which is fine. But PABST BLUE RIBBON is kind of like my #1 beer now since my dad has his own taste.
