The Positive Hedgehog for November 26, 2018

The Positive Hedgehog in the wee hours into Wednesday morning

I just notified Boomer of the lettuce recall (HERE WE GO AGAIN!) because of E. Coli bacteria. I don't know what is going on... maybe it's climate change that's causing this, I have no clue.

Anyway, that wasn't why I wanted to write in to my blog right now. Boomer told me of a song, I Want Candy by Bow Wow Wow, but it was a remix, and guess what DJ Sonic did... he EXTENDED it further and you all will hear it on The DJ Sonic Show on November 30th. You all know where to hear me. Now, Boomer played my 'DJ Sonic EXTENDED!' version of Bahia by Prince Rama last week, which kind of gotten Ricochet up in arms, but I know that it was all for fun. I didn't give Boomer my version of the song, that is just over 9 minutes long, because The DJ Sonic Show will have it. Now, what else did I want to say? I gave Boomer an animated picture of a prairie dog (or it could be a squirrel) with the caption "This Pika channeling Freddie Mercury is the greatest thing you'll see all week.", it's quite cute and a bit funny. It's on Twitter. I will give you all the link. https://t.co/sx6xpg7p9E

I guess that is all that I would like to send in for now. Oh yeah, on Thursday I will be watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with the National Dog Show (sponsored by Purina). I will be recording them both. Action Center on Friday with MIXXX on both my laptop and DJ Shawn's laptop. It will be FUN FUN FUN!!! I will try to stay away from The Positive Hedgehog until Saturday or Sunday.

------------------------------

The Positive Hedgehog for Wednesday afternoon into evening

I know that I said I wouldn't do another entry before Saturday, but this needs to be out there.

Well, Boomer sent me the song he wanted to by Bow Wow Wow (I Want Candy) and I can tell you all right off the bat that the Girls Eat Dog remix isn't really something that DJ Sonic likes because the melody isn't there. I am listening to it one more time on my Logitech system to see if there's any difference between my laptop speakers and the Logitech speakers. Nope, no difference whatsoever. You see, there's no melody that accompanies the song like in the other remix (the remix that I will let all of you hear on November 30th). I thank Boomer very much for me to preview the song, but I will tell you right now that there is absolutely no comparing the two since the remix that I have has full of music and not just drums and a bit of other instruments with the song being sung.

Yeah, I am a very picky hedgehog.

------------------------------

'Thank God for PVRs!' on The Positive Hedgehog

I guess I can't *not* stop doing entries before Saturday, lol. So yeah, I slept all through the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and the National Dog Show, but I am very happy that I recorded both of them. 5 hours worth of content! That kind of took a bit of a good chunk off the hard disk inside the terminal. Anyway, I am watching this in reverse now, lol. I am watching the 2-hour National Dog Show first, fast forwarding through all the commercials, and then I will watch the 3-hour Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, again fast forwarding through all the commercials.

I really do like the Pekingese during the National Dog Show.

The Whippet won the National Dog Show this year... who would've known!

------------------------------

'No Action Center' on The Positive Hedgehog

No, I am not whiny or anything like that just because Andrea, the teacher, wanted me not to play any techno music. It's just because I had a pretty short time time to sleep between 2:30am and 7 (when my alarm clock was supposed to ring) and also it's going to be really frigid out there when I wanted to go for groceries to tide me over during the day. Maybe that's a poor excuse, yes, but then they have DJ Shawn, so all is not lost.

I will try not to do anymore entries for the whole day on Friday.

------------------------------

'Saturday evening's groceries and other things' on The Positive Hedgehog

I went to my local grocery store this evening and got some yummy stuff. Before that, I needed to really check the forecast because there were some conflicting information. Environment Canada put out a freezing rain warning for tonight, while I was out, but then our The Weather Network said that the temperature was a few degrees above 32, hovering around 36 or so. I just was the bigger man and just went out. I needed to get rid of a big bag of Diet Pepsi bottles anyway. There are machines there anyway where I receive 5 cents back per bottle, although I have to bring a paper that the machine pulls out its tongue at me, lol, and that happens whenever I push the little green button whenever I am done with putting bottles inside.

Anyway, here's what I got...

Blackberries, one 4-pack of fudge pudding and one 4-pack of tapioca pudding, some cookies, fig newtons, chocolate bars (some with peanut butter (YUM YUM!) and the other one with strawberry sundae flavor), and then I have 2 mini pies. Wow, I was almost forgetting that I bought 1 6-pack of Diet Pepsi tonight. I will be all set for tonight, Sunday (furry programming, gotta have some good stuff while listening to The Rabbit Hole and Doggy Radio). I tell ya, I live the good life over here!

And yeah when I came back there as an icy patch right where I live, but I was very stable on my two feet and I didn't fall down, I am very happy.

Now, I might write something on Sunday or I may just write in close it for this week.

------------------------------

'A little something to add before I close my blog for this week' on The Positive Hedgehog

I haven't written anything to Boomer on Open Street Map for a bit, so I want to take this opportunity to say something... This map amazes me all the time because right now I am looking at the Mont-Tremblant Village (where I go for the Blues Festival at times) and it really is very detailed on where everything is... even more so than the rest of the maps out there, though I need to check the Discovery Resort Maps now... hang on *goes to check in real-time* YUP!!! Open Street Map WINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Boomer, I can kiss you right now, but I hate doggy slobber, lol. I am just very happy right now, WEEEEEE!!!

Now time for my closing, which will be in my next paragraph.

------------------------------

'Writing in to sign off' on The Positive Hedgehog

As the title says, yes I am going to sign off for this week. This has been The Positive Hedgehog for this week with your blogging host, JaSonic. I hope everyone has a great upcoming week.

JaSonic out.

LATE entry to The Positive Hedgehog

I want to tell everyone that I have seen This Is Life with Lisa Ling on the furry community and I just would like to say this... It was absolutely FANTASTIC!!! I recorded the documentary on my PVR to save it. I don't know how everyone that watched the show liked the fact that Uncle Kage was interviewed by Lisa, but he was rather very positive when he came face to face with the sexual nature of the fandom. He said, "People should step back and let their imagination go, anybody who has the ability to do that really has lost the ability to be a human being." and I back this 100%!

Anyway, This Is Life, Prince Rama, and Sonic Mania... this is where it's at right now.

Anyway, I want to end it here since it's getting EXTREMELY close to Doggy Radio. I want to let Boomer be and set up for his show.

But if you can, you can insert "I am nomming on some Iranian pistachios right now." right before the sign off paragraph.

DJ Sonic out. Ricochet? Where are you for your updates?

'Lots of activity on a Sunday' on The Positive Hedgehog

Right after the last entry and right before I sign off, I will just say this - Stay safe, California! I have learned that KTLA (TV station operating out of Los Angeles) will keep on the fires all the way until the start of Doggy Radio at 3am ET, midnight PT. So, again, KTLA will have continued coverage from 7pm PT all the way to midnight. This is a dangerous situation with winds staying sustained at 20 to 40 mph and gusting to 60 mph. Sheesh! OK, now for my signing off paragraph.

ADDENDUM TO THE BLOG AFTER I HAVE SIGNED OFF!

I THOUGHT that KTLA will do continuing coverage on the wildfire situation until Doggy Radio started, but I guess not. I will still watch the KTLA News at 1am until 2:30 when the KTLA News comes back again, and maybe, just maybe, KTLA will go PAST 3am since the winds will be more of an issue just fanning the flames once again and there may be flare ups in hot spots. Yes, it's very disastrous over there and I know it's Mother Nature doing her job, but why does she have to take it out on California? She should take it out on Donald Trump and when Trump runs, Mother Nature will just be on his tail, no matter how fast he tries to get away from Mother Nature.

The Positive Hedgehog for Thursday, 4 days before Doggy Radio

I am happy to say that I am not passed out drunk in the street somewhere in Montreal since I had a Sapporo with the gang of 7 that I was with tonight before going to Mr. Spicy (restaurantmrspicy.com). I did not have anything that was put out on the table before we all went to the restaurant because I wanted to go there when I was very hungry because that just makes the food more enjoyable. We all had a great time over there and I told everyone to call me ScruffySonic tonight since I didn't shave, rofl, but people were too busy eating, talking, and having a good time. Right now, though, I am just happy to be back home because I can just relax, maybe have a bit of fun with my Sonic plush toy before I go to bed, and then get ready for tomorrow's DJ session at the Action Center... and this time I *WILL* go because I wasn't there in a long while.

'Carrefour Angrignon' on The Positive Hedgehog

Saturday right now and I did sleep well. Right now I am getting ready to go out for a great day at the mall with my friend. I believe I did write this yesterday, heh. Anyway, Carrefour Angrignon, you have to roll the Rs, but it's very French, so if Boomer has problems saying 'Carrefour Angrignon', just say the local mall. Anyway, my dad told me that there will be a guest coming over later on, so I can't really have my fun with my Sonic until he goes back home. Oh well, it's cool.

Stay tuned for one more entry for tomorrow, Sunday.

---------------------------------------

'Pretty good day' on The Positive Hedgehog (2nd entry, 2 days until Doggy Radio)

This entry is a little something extra before Sunday's entry.

I am back from the local mall, and I had a very good time. I have to tell you all something - I was like all Sonictized in the mall because I was like Sonic this and Sonic that since my friend, Charlie, had another friend with him, so we were cracking jokes and stuff. Now I am just waiting for a guest to be over. We'll be have a Chinese treat for supper tonight.

---------------------------------------

'WOW! Who would have known!!!' on The Positive Hedgehog

OK, before I start this entry to my blog, I will hedgehog-bark this... I have been through to Dallas/FTW (Fort Worth) area before on I-30 to get to I-20, and while I was on the western end of I-30, I saw this car, and was a shame too because this car was spewing oil out of its exhaust pipe like you wouldn't believe, but this car had some Sonic stickers on the rear of the car. Now, I didn't peer in to the car itself, I was just mesmerized about the rear of the car having the Sonic sticker. I only had like a minute glimpse of the car since it was taking an exit off of I-30. This car that I saw was not a Chevy Sonic. Now, I know people have like different thinking, but this hedgehog will be starting a rant right now...

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why are people Sonic fans when they can't even take care of their car? I mean it's soooo important for the environment. When I see this and they are Sonic fans, I am thinking of CONDEMNING them from being a Sonic fan because they don't deserve to be a Sonic fan. Sonic is a freedom fighter, right? EVERYONE in the whole wide world knows that, well maybe not everyone, only PURE Sonic fans like me. I don't like pollution at all, and what this car has done is a DISGRACE!!! Now, I dunno if this person fixed up that Sonictized car recently or not since I have seen that car a good few years ago, or I'm not sure if it even works anymore... this person also might not even be a Sonic fan anymore. I DON'T F*CKING CARE! YOU DON'T F*CKING POLLUTE, YOU ASSWIPE!!! I HATE YOU FOR BEING A SONIC FAN AT THE TIME THAT I SAW YOU AND YOUR CAR SPITTING OUT OIL INTO THE ENVIRONMENT LIKE THAT! Don't ever let me catch you again doing that AND being a Sonic fan at the same time, ya hear me?! *END OF RANT*

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now back to what I was saying... this car that I saw was not a Chevy Sonic, it was an older model of a brand and this is why it was spewing out oil like it is *Starts a mini rant right here* And this care shouldn't have been on the road at the time. I don't f*cking care if you're a Sonic fan, I WILL SEND YOU RIGHT TO HELL because you did this, but then you may be a Republican and say like Trump says, "Climate Change is a hoax" *SLAPS MYSELF!* I thought I wasn't going to politicize my blogs, lol, oh well.

*ahem* What was all that bullshit that I just spewed out? I am sorry gang, but I wanted all this to be about the Chevy Sonic find that Boomer found, not about everything that I wrote so far although, yes, I did see that Sonic car when I was in Texas transferring from I-30 to I-20... But yeah, Boomer showed me another section of Doggy Radio's website and wow, I love it!!! I mean yeah, this person's in Pittsburgh, and I would like to talk with this person. Boomer also boofed to me that this person is PERHAPS working for Giant Beagle (Giant Eagle, still furry, the both terms like our Giant Tiger here in Canada) close to Boomer's house and at 1:25pm, I am just thinking that Boomer should one day have that employee from that Giant Eagle maybe do an interview on Doggy Radio? Just make sure that this employee as that Monday off, lol. I just couldn't believe what Boomer showed me, I was astonished!

Here's the website that Boomer showed me... http://boomerthedog.com/sonic-fan-find.html

And I am very happy that he did show me.

Anyway, with all that said, I think Sunday's entry, the last entry to this week's blog, is the LONGEST! And like Boomer barked to me, he likes nice long entries to read... BUT BOOMER! (Reading in the third person here) I thought you had a show to put on and this is just eating into your time. Nope, I guess it's all fine and dandy that I do this. Ricochet might have a say in this, but eh then again it's Boomer's show since who manages the show? BOOMER! Who creates and produces the show? BOOMER! Who has music for the show? BOOMER! Who sits in the show? Ricochet. Now, I am not calling you a shrub, Ricochet, but you have to give Boomer some credit and stop being so critical of my long entries at times since Boomer likes them.

Enough rambling for now. Remember to GET OUT THERE AND VOTE VOTE VOTE on November 6th since democracy is at stake! This has been The Positive Hedgehog for this week, and I'm out.

---------------------------------------

Sorry guys, I have been kicked off The Cove Radio due to ridiculous reasons that I do not wish to touch base on.
