Well, last night I just worked off of water and I still have some groceries, but no Diet Pepsi or Monster. I got in bed very early. So yeah I guess being a DJ is getting to be a bit more important than my furry programming, so I will be transitioning over to more earlier bed times, and that means on Sunday nights also. I will miss talking on Pawpet IRC when The Rabbit Hole and Doggy Radio goes live, but eh everything changes, and this year (2018) is the year when I am thinking about my DJ career quite a bit more.

The Positive Hedgehog goes south in Stowe, Vermont

Wednesday until Friday - Yup. I am here with my dad until Friday. We got here earlier on in the afternoon, and this is the very first time that my main laptop came with me over the border. My dad is sort of paranoid that my main laptop would get taken away from me due to the Trump administration. He has control over the border agents as well. I am risking it, yes, but I am not concerned lots. I want a powerful, fast laptop and the one that I usually would be on in the US is my little notebook laptop and it's not as fast. I need to keep that laptop clean and playing all my music off a G-Drive (Massive 931-GB external hard drive) had gaps when I load up the next song when I want to play music on my laptop, and that's not too good if you want to keep the music going nonstop, ya know? This DJ loves nonstop music and not dead air between songs.

Thursday afternoon ramblings

Just came back from Morrisville and I noticed that there was a Chinese buffet called Lucky Buffet, so after going to Dollar Tree, which was in the same [chain of] buildings, we went to that buffet restaurant since I wanted to try something new. My dad wanted Sushi Yoshi right by our hotel here in Stowe, but I asked my dad, while in the restaurant, if I did make a good choice, and he said yes. We both gave it a very high rating... I gave the restaurant 5 on 5 and my dad gave it 4 on 5. The Vietnamese rolls were just PHENOMENAL!!! And then you have the cheesy spinach. I was a fan of eating all that melted cheese, but on spinach??? REALLY?! On Popeye's muscle food?!?!?! Nope, not a fan of that dish, but I could eat those Vietnamese rolls over and over again! This reminds me, I have to write a review about Lucky Buffet on TripAdvisor. 5 on 5 will definitely deserve a rave review on the restaurant. Of course, I was DJing for myself in the car. Later on I will be going to go in the jacuzzi since both of us won't be having any supper tonight. More either later or tomorrow...

January 22nd Doggy Radio show on The Positive Hedgehog - Sunday evening ramblings

Yes, I started the podcast at 7:30pm and watched someone on Picarto TV with the audio muted. Seems really good, this podcast. It's so good that you guys make great content. I mean Romeo does also, but since I took my furry programming, Sunday into Monday, out and replaced it with sleep, it's better for me. I mean it wasn't healthy for me and now I am more alert day after day, and that reminds me of Day After Day by Milennium, but that's besides the point.

Yesterday I accidently did another little spill on my laptop, but this time with guava nectar. I'll tell you, this laptop is very strong! I am happy that even today none of my keys on the keyboard are sticky. Hmm, what else? I guess I will think of more stuff when I can, but the major thing was just before we left for Stowe... it was really icy, and when we came back on Friday, my dad had to let me out on the sidewalk because the pathway leading to the garage was a complete skating rink.

I am now almost to the point in the podcast where Boomer reads The Positive Hedgehog, so I better leave this for now.

Monday rambling in the noon hour

So, I know that some of you, if not all, missed me in Pawpet IRC these past few weeks. I have been correcting my sleep schedule to not stay awake during vampire hours. Does this mean that's it for The Rabbit Hole and catching Doggy Radio on podcast each week? God, I hope not because I miss listening to Romeo and you guys and broadcasting the furry content on Sonic 95.

Anyway, with all that aside, today is the day where my dad and I will be going to a big buffet, and when I say 'big', I mean bigger than the rest of the buffets that I have gone to. I would say that the one that I go in Chinatown, on occasion, is 2nd to this one. In my own words, I said that this buffet is a 'Las Vegas-style' buffet since it's so huge inside. On January 4th, my dad wanted to treat me to this buffet, but there was a very long lineup to sit down and my dad was figuring that it was a 30-minute wait at least. I found out that there was a Buffet Fu Lam nearby, so we went there instead. I know that I spoke about this Fu Lam before in a previous entry of mine as well.

Sunday afternoon ramblings on The Positive Hedgehog

Wow! It seems so long that I last did an entry, but that's okay. Doggy Radio is more important anyway. Anyway, I fixed it so Tuesdays would be Shawn's (changed from DJ Pump to DJ Sonic 2) day to DJ since I want him to have more experience in the DJ life, and I (DJ Sonic) will be on every Fridays when the Action Center is opened since there are times when there's outings for the Action Center gang. That's okay because I am a great DJ anyway since the teacher expressed that I am a great DJ, and Shawn is just learning, so this is why I gave him the Tuesday position. I DJ all day on Fridays anyway, but enough about that... I want to talk about today, Sunday. Seems that I may or may not be able to stay awake for both The Rabbit Hole and Doggy Radio since I got my sleeping pattern fixed. I am listening to last week's podcast while I write my last entry for this week. In the next couple of days for this hedgehog, it will be really dicey in terms of weather. It said ice pellets on Tuesday for like 2 days on my weather application, and with a very high percentage, but now there's a weather warning out for my city and they just say rain on Tuesday, so I dunno... weather is very difficult to predict at times.

LATE startup to The Positive Hedgehog for Thursday afternoon

Since I did Monday and Tuesday, I will say that Wednesday was a dull day and today, Thursday, I decided to play the Doggy Radio podcast that I missed when it went live. After my January 8th edition of The Positive Hedgehog, I watched a cruise (Norwegian Breakaway) caught in that cyclone bomb on the east coast, thanks to our Weather Network (just showed a small clip so I went to look for it on YouTube and I got the whole video of that small snippet that I saw). By the way... Ricochet wanted to know why I threw my Sonic fursuit out last week, and I will tell you why this week... BED BUGS! Bahhh! I hate them. They are really annoying, and they also are crawling on my computer desk as well, darn things. The partial fursuit was big, and I know that there would have been some hiding spaces for them and I didn't want to go to a fur con or something and get bed bugs on stuff if I lay my fursuit on any surface. I just wanted to have a precaution. Yes, I did say last week that I really hated doing that since it was a Sonic fursuit and I put some hours customizing it for me to fit into him, but it really needed to be done. Back to my ramblings, I went to the grocery store for Friday and then Sunday into Monday since there might be very inclimate weather for me to go to the store on Sunday. It's great that I was able to go today.

Oh, and due to the weather, our power grid is very strong, but things can get interesting during the weekend.

Saturday morning ramblings

Very snowy this morning, and some officials are telling Montreal residents to stay home if they can. Some city buses are having trouble to get people to their destinations because of the snow. I had something else thought up for this morning's ramblings, but I forgot what I wanted to ramble about, eh it's fine. Speaking of "Eh", last week, Ricochet liked the Canadian custom, but I dunno about this week. FUCK YEAH! Oh yeah I think I just remembered what I wanted to write, lol... This is the 3rd week that I have been extending Pabst. By that I mean I still have the same 12-pack of Pabst that I bought 3 weeks ago. Ain't that ridiculous?! Anyway, yeah, I am taking my time with the beer not to have dizzy spells left right and center. Yeah, that's a good excuse for snuggling my plush toy, but being dizzy like that I'm sure it's not healthy.

Yesterday, Friday, I didn't write an entry to The Positive Hedgehog because I was being really entertained that EVERYONE at the Action Center joined in for the Wheelchair Dancing class, and that made this DJ, DJ Sonic, smile from coast to coast! I mean I really REALLY had a good time yesterday! I hope it goes on like that every Friday, but I am in rotation this year since I spoke to DJ Pump, Shawn, about it and we agreed on every Friday afternoons we would rotate DJs, like one Friday it would be DJ Sonic and then the 2nd Friday it would be DJ Pump, and then back to me the 3rd Friday, and so on and so on. That works better since we each have our own things to do on the computer when we don't DJ that afternoon.

Sunday afternoon ramblings

Well, I am sure you guys miss me in Pawpet IRC, but I again will have to miss out on The Rabbit Hole AND Doggy Radio since I definitely want to go to a buffet tomorrow. This buffet is not a large chain and only has 8 locations in the province, and the closest one to us is on the south shore, and I don't wanna be there all tired and stuff like when my dad treated me to a local Chinese buffet, Fu Lam, on Christmas Day and I stayed up to listen to Doggy Radio that morning. BAD IDEA! This time, there won't be any of that. I guess the next time that you'll see me in Pawpet IRC will be on the 21st and the 22nd of January.

A big thank you goes to all of you for raising a ton of money for The Rabbit Hole & Oh! Pawpets. Without you there wouldn't be anyway that these shows would continue.

Monday morning ramblings

Continuing after I just have signed off, I guess I have time to ramble about this, but I had a real good time at my friend's place, although they talked more than danced, but eh that's life. I am really tired since it's like I didn't sleep at all Sunday morning, but I am being fueled by Monster ULTRA BLUE right now and just had the Java Monster, 2 of them, at my friends place. They are wearing off slowly, but I am going to be replacing that with the ULTRA BLUE very soon, once Doggy Radio starts. I thought about DJing right after Doggy Radio, but nah I think I will just crash and burn in bed. I know the stream will be kept on all day, like Boomer's New Year's Day tradition when he usually goes to the sMall with Ricochet, but they cheated and went yesterday instead, but back to the tradition... I will fade out and end plug Sonic 95 back into my SiriusXM radio.

Anyway, more later, and this will be more ramblings on next week's The Positive Hedgehog.

Positive Hedgehog for the evening of New Year's Day

Hedge Hoggerson here. Well, let's just say that we need to eradicate a pesky problem that we have been having for quite a while and I don't want this problem to live on and on. 2018 right now, and this... needs. to. END!!! Like RIGHT NOW!!! Anyway, as a sacrifice, I had to throw out my big Sonic fursuit. I wasn't proud of it, but trust me, there's a lot of other things that make me happy, and I have to think of it this way - I have my 'other' Sonic plush toy in my private toy which I have fun with, and that really does make me happy. I just don't feel good right now about this whole situation. I don't know what to do... I mean, new year, new life? True, I should be moved out by now, but first I have to deal with this problem that I do have. I don't want to leave my dad high and dry with this. I think I should stop right there and leave my other ramblings for another day.

Starting mid-week this week on The Positive Hedgehog

Happy 2018 everyone! After all the festivities were had, this hedgehog had a brainstorm and just made a big jump in submitting an application for a very popular station here in Montreal - Virgin Radio 96 (95.9 CJFM) so I will be going from 5kW on CKUT to a blazing 41.2kW on CJFM! People on Telegram were requesting if they could hear my music online... well, if all this pulls through for DJ Sonic, THEY WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY!!! =D

Ooh I am just so excited! But I will still support what I have been doing over at CKUT 90.3 - I might have to deal with a brand new mixer board over there, but how hard can that be? A mixer board is a mixer board, right? I also want to avoid climbing that steep hill to get at CKUT if at all possible as well.

I will input some more stuff later.

Saturday morning ramblings on The Positive Hedgehog

Hedge Hoggerson here with you to say that JaSonic... nah, lol Boomer called me Hedge Hoggerson once but nah it was only some good names that he thinks up of, that silly pooch, lol.

Anyway, second day of the wind just howling outside, making it feel between -35 and -40. I still have some Pabst right here to drink and a lot more Diet Pepsi. I don't know if I will be able to go do some groceries tomorrow either although the wind shouldn't be as fierce tomorrow. It's going to be cold, yes, but not as cold as it has been for a week or so. On Monday, though, a BIG temperature shift for us. It's going up to hover around the freezing mark, and I hope that doesn't mean any freezing rain or ice pellets because I'd be done for. This winter has already been harsh on me since I couldn't do any Nuit Blanches, but if this keeps up, especially until the end of February or even the beginning of March, I will have to modify the OFFICIAL Nuit Blanche just a tiny bit that happens around that time. I guess that's it from me, Hedge Hogger...*ahem* NO... JASONIC!!! Damn it. This is getting way out of hand, lol, oh boy. Bye for now.

Sunday evening ramblings

Well, I was watching some videos of a very dysfunctional family that lives somewhere in Maryland on YouTube, trying to catch up on recent videos, had a very good supper, and earlier this afternoon I did my groceries and I have to tell you all that I finally got my gummi chews as I said I would this week. True, I still have Pabst, but that will be saved for throughout the week. I am happy that I finally will be returning back to the Action Center this Tuesday. FUCK YEAH! Anyway, on to the DJ Romeo Moment...

As you guys, The Rabbit Hole's listening audience, already know, Romeo's Donation Drive will be on 24 hours from January 8th to the 9th, and then every day for a solid 9 hours (I think) every single day until the 14th.
