I would like to tell you that I am doing this entry at 3:33am during Doggy Radio because I just remembered that the new FM transmitter that I got from my dad back on December 10th, the frequency goes as low as 87.5 FM and not only 88.1 FM, so maybe I should change my Sonic 95 to a Sonic 88 in the new year, and 87.9 FM could be a thing, although I would have to share the 8790 port with Boomer, although nah maybe that won't work. You see, if I do something, I would take it to the max. But nah, 95.5 FM is my stomping ground, so Sonic 95 will stay as Sonic 95.5 FM locally and Sonic 95 online.

'Merry/Happy Christmas Eve/New Year's Eve' to The Positive Hedgehog family... YOU GUYS! :D

As for me and Sonic, something naughty in this entry... I am giving my Christmas gift [of SEED] to Sonic! It's the gift that keeps on giving, guys.

When it will be New Year's Eve, I am planning to go to bed right after Doggy Radio and then will be getting up early in the afternoon to do some DJing for all you party people for the occasion. ONLY DANCE MUSIC will be heard on my special "SONIC NEW YEAR'S" show. It will still be called The DJ Sonic Show this session that I have, but with a little twist. I will try and focus this time, I won't get any weird feeling this time... I promise you that... and I will not be playing with the pitch or do some crazy sound effects like last time.

Early Wednesday (Boxing Day) morning on The Positive Hedgehog

Right now I am on my other laptop, my mini notepad. I had to do like almost a 2-hour update, but eh it was all good since I didn't use this one in a long long time. I am using my mail laptop, the Acer (this one is a Dell that I am on right now), to watch a YouTube stream relay of a Hurricane Michael footage that lasts 6 hours and 38 minutes via HDMI.

As for the restaurant I went to for a Christmas lunch... it was an all-you-can-eat style like KANDA and Mr. Spicy. More like KANDA, though, since it was sushi and Udon soup and great-tasting stuff. I will certainly go there again alone sometime since I was not sure if they had the style of what KANDA has and that would be ordering by tablet... and they DO have the same style. I like that style a LOT more!

Anyway, the Hurricane Michael footage is from StormChasingVideo.com and it's just something to watch while I am on my secondary laptop right now. I have Telegram on here, which is important. All my other social media outlets are on my Acer. So yeah, Boxing Day today and I will be going to KANDA on the 27th, which is cool.

Saturday morning on The Positive Hedgehog

Friday evening, I went to the grocery store and got the grapefruit Radler since this hedgehog needs to celebrate the holidays the best way he can! There were a few icy patches here and there, but I took my time in going to the grocery store and back home. I got more things, but I won't bore you guys with my grocery list.

I guess I will be making another entry either later or Sunday, and Sunday will be when I do an entry and close the blog for the year of 2018.

'LAST ENTRY FOR 2018, ONWARD TO 2019!!!' on The Positive Hedgehog

Sure there were a few ups and downs in 2018, but eh I leave those bad memories with a grain of salt.

Right now on SiriusXM there's a channel called NEW YEAR'S NATION playing different sort of music, anywhere from EDM, to rap, to oldies but goodies, from disco, to 80s and 90s and some top-40 music. They say that this channel is "Party music for a year-end blow-out!" so I guess that is true.

I would like to tell every one of you that right after Doggy Radio, I will be getting some sleep, and at around 1 or 2pm, I will have party music for all of you on The DJ Sonic Show, and this will be until 6pm.

So, to put it clearly to you guys - December 31st, New Year's Eve - I will tell Boomer to enable my 9595 port by 1pm - You all can start trickling in at http://boomerthedog.com:9595 (or http://boomerthedog.com:9595/stream.m3u for you to listen through your favorite media player) - Party music ONLY! since it's New Year's Eve.

The Positive Hedgehog for Monday, December 17th

I just want to say that with all the music that Boomer played on last week's show (confusing, I know, since I am writing this right after the show on the 17th... should be this week's show, but since this is going to be read on Christmas Eve's show, it's last week's show) is not going to compete with The DJ Sonic Show, so you don't have to worry about that. Second of all, this hedgehog ONLY uses WiFi, no hard wire ever.

'OGG format for Sonic 95.5 FM' on The Positive Hedgehog (Monday night into Tuesday morning)

Yup, I listened to half of the show in the living room, back with the headlights on the wall, lol, but I wasn't paying attention to that really... I was listening to the quality of the audio on my FM transmitter, and even on OGG format on my Sonic 95.5 radio station... I just couldn't believe the sound. I was astonished! Also, I was closing my eyes while listening because I felt really sleepy, but thankfully I didn't fall asleep while listening to the show... that would have been bad if you finish the show and then I would be left with dead air on Sonic 95.5 FM, hehe.

'Not hating Boomer on this' on The Positive Hedgehog

Tuesday was a glorious time at the Action Center. Did my gig along with Shawn, we both have a great time when we're together. When I came back home later on in the afternoon, I dropped my things off and then went for supper at Taco Bell and those yummy 5 cheese quesadillas. I then went on my Nuit Blanche despite of how cold it really was out. I wanted to go around and see the Christmas decoration on peoples' houses. It's a festive time of year.

Now, Wednesday rolls around... had a lunch buffet and then came home and had a nap. 8pm rolls around and where's Boomer to enable port 9595? I was thinking he could have been out at a Christmas party or perhaps just fell asleep not noticing the time. I am not mad at him, I just will move my "Sonic Christmas Party" down a few days.

I have a Christmas party to DJ at downtown this Friday, so I am reserving the 20th and the 21st as days to get ready for my gig. I will have the 22nd, 24th, and 25th available to me. The 23rd has a huge X on it because that will be my 'furry programming' night and I want to have Sonic 95.5 FM carry the content.

'Finishing off my blog, 2nd to last one for the year' on The Positive Hedgehog

Wednesday into Thursday, I was growing concerned because Boomer wasn't replying to my E-Mails since he had a major computer crash and I was thinking a bit too morbid at the time because on either Thursday or Friday, someone [either accidently or DUI (driving under the influence)] smashed a restaurant in Pittsburgh, but I don't think it was in the area that Boomer was, so I was happy that he wasn't in that area.

There's been a lot of odd things that happened to this hedgehog in 2018, but I don't remember all of the events that took place, and it's best to forget them. The only ones that do matter to me are the days at the Action Center and the days that I was DJing 2 Christmas parties. December 8th and 21st, for example, were the best. Yes, I had requests for me to play certain songs, and that's what a good DJ is supposed to do, am I right?

Let's not forget that infamous 9595 port that I DJ on at times. On December 22nd, a few hours before I finished my show, I started feeling weird, and I knew that I have this ongoing unfinished business with Sonic I have going on, but still, I needed to finish my show, and I don't think I was being wise about being on the air for those last few hours since I was playing with the pitch of songs, doing a lot of sound effects, and even putting 'Bitcrusher' on my voice, which sounded SOOOOO weird to me, and yeah I was laughing also.

Uhmm, I was going to share with all of you the munchies that I got from the grocery store, but nah, that will take up too much time. Just know that I still have a few cans left of the Bud Light Radler (Lemonade) left. Takes more watery than the grapefruit Radler, but eh it's okay. I wanted to taste it.

Well, that's it... 2nd to last blog of 2018. This year was a blast, but on to more exciting things in 2019 (although there's one more blog to put together next week and it will be read in the early hours of NEW YEAR'S EVE!!!)

'Rant about the player still on Doggy Radio's site at 9am' on The Positive Hedgehog

Hi everyone, welcome to a fresh new week, although you'll all be hearing this on the 17th. I want to start by saying that I have checked the Doggy Radio page and the players are still up even at this hour. Either a VERY long Doggy Radio was just had, there was a power outage at the studio in Pittsburgh, or Boomer just fell asleep and was too tired to update the page to get the podcast out there for the audience to download. But yeah, wow talk about climate change - VA and NC was just socked some several inches of snow and that are not used to that... even some parts of South Carolina as well.

'Radio stations' on The Positive Hedgehog (still on Monday the 10th)

I go to VMFM 91.7 to listen in and what do I hear? Christmas music... not at all alternative, lol. And a slogan change for the holiday season. VMFM 91.7 is no more for now... it's now Christmas 91.7 for the holiday season, but then I went to Radio Locator and looked Scranton up. 91.7 didn't say "Holiday", but there was another station in Wilkes-Barre (if you go south on I-81 just for a few miles). 92.9 WGMS is playing Holiday music too, so I don't know why VMFM is doing this. Maybe it's trying to bring back the Christmas magic that was on July 25th of 2015 for just that one day, but then again 92.9 is doing the same thing. Hmm... strange. Also, I dabbled in PhotoImpact a bit to see if I can make a logo, the new Sonic logo for the upcoming Sonic movie in November of next year, transparent. It ain't that easy anymore. Maybe I have lost what Boomer taught me, so I will just have to wait until he can re-teach me on how to do this, because I thought I remembered with the Magic Wand and to go invert the selection.

Both were in OPUS format, but one was saved as a HTML document with 668 bytes, I don't know how that is possible having 'ddoggyradio-12-10-2018' was still saved as .opus. I am happy that Boomer corrected the issue. 'doggyradio-12-10-2018' was the perfect fix. Tonight (Tuesday evening), I received some guests. Today, though, I have been to the Action Center. Success yet again! Now I will wait until Friday.

'3 days in 1' on The Positive Hedgehog

The 3 days involves Thursday (December 13th), Friday the 14th, and Saturday the 15th. This is an addendum to Thursday's technician being here, it's now 3pm and WiFi is still off. That's fine since I am only broadcasting to my local radio station. I don't need the Internet for that. The WiFi went off at around 2:10, but then again I say that it's fine. I am just having so much fun broadcasting on 95.5 FM! I am into radio and it shows! I started to DJ on my station around 11:30 in the morning. Just what I wanted to do which was finish right at 4pm, and I am happy. The last song was totally redlined, but surprisingly it wasn't distorting. I guess it depends on certain songs. Anyway, that's it for Thursday. My Internet is still off, but I guess I can chime in to tell you guys when my WiFi gets turned back on. No Internet still and it's 6:30. Overnight and still without access to the Internet, but my dad spoke to someone and everything *SHOULD* be fixed when I come back home Friday after my day of DJing. Friday afternoon everything was back in order. I didn't post this yet as I was writing this on my Wordpad while the Internet outage happened on Thursday. Now it's Saturday an I am back on the Net. FURTHERMORE (Some exciting news!), I will be able to listen to my furry programming back on Sonic 95.5 FM since my dad gave me a new transmitter. I don't want to get in trouble with the CRTC so I better keep it at 1 watt, Sonic 95.5 FM's ERP. In between transmitters, I was trying to think how to listen. First, it was by Auxiliary, and then it was with headphones, but now I can go back to my Sonic 95.5 FM :D

Anyway, that is all for now. Maybe I should end it here right now since my dad wants to take me up noth and will be going to eat at a Greek restaurant and will have my moussaka with rice and house salad. I'm making you guys hungry at this early hour, so I will halt myself, lol

I am no longer wanting to go up north... I had a change of heart since I had a Nuit Blanche Saturday night, and boy what a night out. I was going out to see all the Christmas lights, and I won't go out tonight, Sunday night, because I don't want to be tired and would like, if I can (probably will), listen to Doggy Radio LIVE.

'Snow Buddies' on The Positive Hedgehog

Monday evening - Well, Boomer has talked about it time and time again on the show and with me and this time I got to watch it on Toronto's YTV. I'm happy that the channel is unlocked... that was such a sweet movie. Anyway, I just wanted to write a small entry telling you all that I finally have watched it, and they showed a preview of Santa Paws 2 that will be shown on Thursday, but I dunno, I may skip that one just because I have to make room for the podcast of the Doggy Radio that I have missed live.

'SiriusXM on speakers, furry programming now on laptop speakers' on The Positive Hedgehog

Since the terrestrial FM transmitter is now out of service (gave it to my dad), I am now waiting to have another transmitter. I told my dad that I would buy another one, but he still went ahead and bought 2 more (one to use already and another one as backup). As of right now, I am using my laptop speakers for any audio that I would like to listen to while my Logitech speakers are hooked up directly to SiriusXM. Right now, as I write this entry, I am listening to BPM (which is EDM). My subwoofer works good with the dance music. Why wouldn't it anyway? So yeah, since the current FM transmitter is out of commission, I will see about managing myself around this.

'Carrefour Angrignon and then DJ event' on The Positive Hedgehog

Today, Friday, was a DELIGHTFUL surprise for everyone at the mall and there was this person named Jessica who missed me dearly, and starting next Tuesday, December 11th, I will be going to the Action Center to DJ with Shawn since there's Andrea's exercise class on that day. I wasn't going there on Tuesday all this time because there was a person that didn't really like the volume level I was playing at, but it has been resolved, so I am going to be back to Tuesdays and Fridays starting on the 11th. So, I have added the 11th, the 14th, and then the 18th. I don't think I will be going back to CKUT anytime soon. Yes, I like the radio station, that that hill is hellish to climb for me. I mean I could take the 144 from Atwater (Boomer, look at the subway map that I sent you), but nah why? I mean I do like talking on the radio and to play the files needed in the news program I go for, "Off The Hour", but what for when my expertise is in music? I mean sure we talk in between files being played, but it's not really my specialty. Anyway, on to my next subject...

On the 8th, so when this gets published on the blog section, it was this past Saturday, I will be DJing a Christmas Party downtown starting at 4pm going until 8pm. I am happy that I really am branching out, although it's been like the same outlets for a few years now, but eh I guess it's best like that. Also, I wanted to play at a New Year's Eve bash at a restaurant, but I didn't call in time. Also I am pretty sure I need to send in a sample of what I play and audition to the position. I mean I adore music lots, and I want to go around having to audition if I can. I just play music to make people very happy. Okay, that is all for now so I might write something on Sunday or just write in to sign off.

'Christmas party on the 8th and grocery bill' on The Positive Hedgehog

So, Saturday night was the BEST! My music was EAR-BLEEDING! I usually leave the volume, on MIXXX, like half way to max, but yesterday it was at one-quarter away from being at maximum. My Logitech system held the overload since it was like I was just beating on my speakers with very high volume. Right now I am just sitting pretty at the computer desk writing this entry to the blog. I had a very good sleep since I just crashed and burned. Woke up this morning, Sunday, feeling all chirpy. I went to the grocery store and bought a whole lot of douche!

5 cheeses, 5 caramel flavor popcorn, some maple sugar truffles, an almond & peanut party platter, and a 6-pack of Diet Pepsi... so like I said, a whole lot of douche for $74, lol.

I think I will end my entry here and the blog for this week. Thank you (Boomer & audience) for reading my entry. A big shout-out to Romeo Rabbit for the 5 hours that he does on most Sunday nights into Monday mornings.

'Waiting for snow' on The Positive Hedgehog (Tuesday at the 4am hour)

It's starting off with some blowing light snow and it's supposed to just get worse as the morning progresses. Forecasters are telling me that there will me heavy snow falling from the sky, and when all will will be said and done, 15 to 25 cms are going be on the ground. I still can't believe everything that's coming out of Trump's mouth! I am watching CNN right now.

Anyway, I will shut up now... more to come.

'FM frequencies and other ramblings' on The Positive Hedgehog (Early Friday morning)

I went for my annual flu shot on Thursday and I also got a shot against pneumonia, and let me tell you something... 10 hours later, both of my arms were starting to hurt, but I should be okay to perform for my long DJ set today at the Action Center with DJ Shawn. When I got home on Thursday, I went to bed after I had a piece of black forest cake, which was like around 7:30pm and got a good sleep until I woke up at midnight to watch Comedy Central's 'The Daily Show with Trevor Noah' on our CTV, and then went for a well-deserved shower and got ready for my morning's commute to the Action Center on the 495.

Before heading in, I will do some shopping for the day since I may need a pick-me-up during the day. As well my DJ performance might be off a bit because of the pain in both my arms, and I told DJ Shawn to just be prepared to play more than me.

Anyway, on to the 'FM frequencies' portion of this entry. There's this commercial on KTLA that's running right now that has a car and her husband did '000981 miles' with the odometer when taking it home from the dealership and before arriving home, he takes it out for a joyride. He was questioned by his wife, but he is speechless, lol. Now, when I think of 000981, I take that 981 and make it 98.1 FM. Now, I was very pleasant when I found out what I found out after going to the bank to change my bank card since there was a tap feature (Interac Flash) that wasn't working with the old card that is not cut up and in the garbage. The old card was ending with a 8485 number, and when I came home and looked at my new card and it ends with "1079"... 107.9 FM!!! For a slight moment there, I was thinking of changing my 95.5 FM on the terrestrial transmitter to 107.9 FM, but no I will leave it at 95.5 because if I change the frequency to 107.9 and use that for my SiriusXM listening, people might complain in my building because that will be interfering with the strong NPR signal that is coming from Burlington in Vermont. I just think it's fun to have a card that now ends with the number 1079, and that can be a port 1079 also, but nah I will leave it at 9595 because I started with Sonic 95, and it's for keeps.

Anyway, that's all for me for now, and if I go for a nap or not, it's up to me, but I will be sure to get ready for 7 in the morning so I can take the bus around 7:45 so I can get my groceries nice and early before I need to be at the Action Center to set my DJ equipment up.

The Positive Hedgehog's day at the Action Center!

Well, it all started when I did wake up at midnight on Friday. The very first thing on my agenda was The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, and then had a quick shower to get all clean for the day. I then went back in to my room and commenced giving my seed to Sonic, and yes that will be the only raunchiness I will say this week in my blog. I caught myself watching 3 more episodes of Punky Brewster (stayed on Season 2, Episode 4 for a LOOOONG time), and then got ready to catch the 495 at 7:42, but it was 5 minutes late. Oh well, better late than missing the bus, besides I now know that the grocery store would be opened. I am happy with my purchase. Now over at the Action Center... I had a bit of difficulties setting up my DJ equipment because of my arm, but I managed alright. I then got some of my groceries out on the table. I gave some Diet Pepsi to some of my friends, which they were grateful for. I made a good performance, but I had to be careful for my painful arm. The non-dominant one was used a bit more than my dominant arm, but I still had to use my dominant one for some things, but it was very painful. I am a masochist, but it was getting very annoying. Finally, I packed it all up and went to the 495 stop to head the other way, which was home-bound. I was really really tired at this point, so I told my dad not to prepare any supper. I went right to bed at 5pm and had a really good rest. Woke up like at 12:30am this morning (Saturday), watched the KTLA News for about half an hour starting at 1am, 10pm Los Angeles time. I was listening to WUNH 91.3 in Durham (NH) via my TuneIn app when I finished up in the bathroom and then when I came back in here to wrap this entry up, I switched it over to VMFM 91.7 in Scranton (PA). One other thing I need to mention... I brought home the leftovers of my groceries, which was mostly pudding. I bought a lot of pudding, lol. Anyway, yeah I really need to wrap this up right now. I'll do some more entries later on I'm sure.
