'103.3 CHAA and 103.3 WWMP / Tuning in to Lake George Radio' on the last week of The Positive Hedgehog

For some odd reason, a triangle of radio signals has invaded Montreal. 103.3 CHAA from the south shore of Montreal has increased their power and I can hear the station not too far from the extreme western tip of Montreal Island, but then 103.3 WWMP (MP103.3) from Waterbury, VT wants to come in the further west I go, which is totally weird if you think about it because shouldn't I be heading out of the city traveling south to pick WWMP up better? Doesn't make any sense, but anyway...

You then have yet another 103.3 FM this time from Ottawa Ontario. I don't hear that station in Montreal, but I can get 103.3 FM from Ottawa a bit when I am in Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue. That and 103.3 WWMP since WWMP comes in a bit clearer, which again clearly doesn't make any sense.

Later on today, I will be going for my haircut since I will be headed down to the Lake George area on Wednesday until Friday. The CZH will be on 92.7 FM where I will be broadcast stuff from the Internet and also DJing LIVE on there, probably on Wednesday night. I will turn the CZH off when I am not using it.

'DJ Sonic on 92.7 FM in Lake George' on the last week of The Positive Hedgehog

Wednesday, June 26th - This morning, my dad and I left the house at 11am. When we passed the border into NY, there was a 88.7 FM in Rouses Point. That station was K-Love. There were about 20 to 30 miles before Lake George where I didn't get any radio station whatsoever. This afternoon, we arrived in Lake George by 2:30pm. I went for a dip in the pool and I noticed some dark storm clouds in the distance. Later on, I came back to my laptop and noticed that the storm clouds were in the Plattsburgh NY / Burlington VT area when I was on NOAA (www.weather.gov) because they were under a severe thunderstorm warning, and I noticed and something were directly from the west of where we were located.

I went to my MyRadar app and there was a big blob heading for us. I told my dad, and I wanted to wait until the rain passed, but no my dad was hungry at that moment, and what do you know, the storm waited until we went to Duffy's Tavern and sat on the terrasse (patio). I looked to the west and the clouds were coming, the ones that were directly west of us. At 6:30pm, BAM! All hell broke lose. TORRENTIAL DOWNPOUR! And boy, did it come down hard!!! Yes, I was getting sprayed a bit by the rain, but I didn't mind it. I wanted a storm, so I got one... WITH A VENGEANCE! They said a 40% risk of a strong thunderstorm, but it wasn't strong enough. The rain was heavy, though, but a strong thunderstorm? Eh, it could have been just a tad bit stronger with loud cracking thunder. There was thunder, yes, but not LOUD thunder. I did hear AM static on 530 AM (frequency not used for the Lake George area), but I never saw any lightning, which was very weird.

When we both came back, I was DJing on 92.7 FM for over 3 hours and I hope some others listened since there's not a whole heck of a lot of radio stations to choose from over here. 95.9 WCQL, 98.5 WCKM, 100.3 WFFG, and maybe 91.9 WNGN (Adirondack Praise Network) for religious people. 90.3 WAMC comes in pretty well over here, and that is NPR for Albany. 103.1 WGY (810 on the AM dial) does come in too, but it has trouble to. WGY is a news/talk radio station, and I sometimes do get 810 back in Montreal in the overnight hours, though I still would have to turn my walkman since WGY is interfered with 800 CJAD. Anyway, I don't know if I will DJ on Thursday because I want to get ready for the trip back to Montreal on Friday. There is a road trip waiting for me since my dad wants to go on Route 9P again, and that route goes around Saratoga Lake. 103.1 WGY will get stronger, but then I probably listen to 90.3 WAMC since I will be closer to Albany. The 107.9 WVPS NPR station from Burlington doesn't really come in all that well over here.

There also was a 91.1 FM station that was coming in before we hit Lake George, and it sounded like it was a religious station. AAARRRRGGGGHHHHH!!! ENOUGH RELIGIOUS STATIONS ALREADY!!! It's okay, I'll just enjoy myself while I am here in Lake George and when we both go back north on 9N on Friday, I'll be in my glory because the view on the route is just something else! Maybe I will get more radio stations since I will be closer to the border of Vermont.

Anyway, Wednesday's blog is wayyy too long, I am sorry guys. Maybe Boomer can 'abbreviate' this and the listening audience can go onto my blog page and read it in full.

I am signing off from this entry on Thursday morning at 12:45 from Lake George.

'Error on my part' on my last blog as The Positive Hedgehog

107.9 WVPS still is working in Lake George actually pretty well.

'Before I go to lunch and then to Saratoga Springs' on The Positive Hedgehog

I want to correct myself for a third and last time. 107.9 WVPS is not working all that well. The station is trying to come in, yeah, but it's mixed in with a lot of static.

'Kind of forgetting to do another entry since I am a bit tired from the trip back home' on The Positive Hedgehog

Well, Friday rolled around and I packed everything up in the morning, like around 8:45 or something... did my morning routine and got ready to go back in the car. Now, about our car... this car has GPS, and I set it up for Westport in NY, which is where we had to go for I-87 since my dad wanted to take the scenic Route 9N from Lake George back up, which was fun. I wanted to remember what radio station I listened to the most while we traveled on 9N, but does it really matter? I think not! Anyway, we crossed the border and when we tried to get back into the city, there was traffic galore. Lots of construction everywhere both off and on the Island itself. We didn't really have trouble coming back home, though, and I am happy for that. Finally got back home at 3:30pm where I said that I didn't want any supper, and that suited me because on Thursday night, I had a HUGE Mexican treat, Olé!

Right now, I am just relaxing and will be having some fun with Sonic. Tomorrow is the opening ceremony of the fireworks competition, and the forecast for tomorrow looks bleak. They say that the fireworks will go on rain or shine, but I am not sure that I may go or not tomorrow night. Anyway, going to end this entry right here.

This entry was typed up on Friday at 7:51pm.

'Time for the BIG reveal of The Sonic Blog' on [a few days of making the big change-over, so until then, it will be called the no-name blog]

OK guys, ready for me to reveal what I will be doing with The Sonic Blog?

The new blog will be consisting of a weekly audio version of me saying whatever is happening in my life, and that will be for 5 minutes MAX! I won't edit this piece this time since if I edit it, I will have to talk again and then edit that piece, but I have to be at that 5-minute mark, which would be a pain, so I will not edit what I will say, so if you hear some dead air when I am trying to think of what to say, you all will be able to listen to the background music. Remember the 'Twinkle Park' song that I have used a few times? Well, it's coming back, and coming back with a vengeance! I'm talking about weekly background music featuring 'Twinkle Park' since I am a Sonic fan and my nickname is JaSonic.

So yeah, 5 minutes max for talking UNCUT (although I can pause my recordings while I record on GoldWave although I can leave that as a bit of dead air so you can hear Twinkle Park in the background), and with the background music being 'Twinkle Park' weekly, it won't be such a bad weekly blog I think. Immediately after my blog I will be featuring either 1 or 2 songs from DJ Sonic's collection. The editing done will be all up to me, but it really has to be at that 5-minute mark, and it can't go over that mark. The background music will always finish at 4min 58sec, but with 2 seconds longer for me to speak. I'm sure that Ricochet will complain about those 2 extra seconds, lol

So there you have it, my new 'The Sonic Blog' in a nutshell. I think I have my work cut out for me over the next few years. But it's fine since it's fun work.

Now, there's something else that I wanted to add but forgot to say, and that was when I was down in Lake George doing a DJ Sonic show on 92.7 FM on Wednesday night, you know what song I ended my show on? FISHING FOR FISHIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry for all the exclamation marks, but that song still really does put me in a real good mood. It's such an upbeat song, it's ridiculous.

Environment Canada issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch at 11:10 this morning, so hmm maybe it wouldn't be such of a good idea to go see the fireworks this evening? I believe that I will still take the 110 to the subway station and take that risk. As of 12:32, I opened up my MyRadar app on my laptop and didn't see anything coming towards the city, but it's early yet and thunderstorms may pop up due to daytime heating. I have had that before where there were some freak pop-up thunderstorms out of nowhere. I adore thunderstorms! I mean I can't have sex with a thunderstorm (that would be so weird and also very dangerous), but I do adore them. Just as long as the thunderstorm doesn't produce a tornado or have very louder-than loud (EAR-BLEEDING!) thunder.

I will leave it here for this week, and the END of The Positive Hedgehog. I want to thank my sponsor, SEGA, for me being a very HUUUUGE Sonic fan, and my other sponsor... life. Without life, I would be nothing, and that would suck monkey balls.

Sonic out (Stay tuned for 'The Sonic Blog' coming next week and for a few years)

'At the hotel right now...' on The Positive Hedgehog.

Monday, June 17th - And 87.9 FM is in full broadcast mode right now, and I am treating my dad since I didn't do anything with him for Father's Day. I am treating him today AND tomorrow. Tonight with a Smooth Jazz station on TuneIn called "Jazz Lounge", and tomorrow morning it will be "Calm Radio: Flute" unless I wake up late. He doesn't know how to set it up for himself and I definitely don't want him to use my laptop.

So yeah, there's not a whole heck of a lot of choice for stations over here, but eh it's ok. I am here to enjoy the scenery more.

Note: This originally was only going to be for Boomer only, but I decided to make it as my first entry to The Positive Hedgehog.

This entry was typed up on June 17th at 6:55pm.

'Sonic the Hedgehog's birthday is coming up' on The Positive Hedgehog

This coming Sunday, June 23rd and I am so excited! I will do some stuff my way, like going out on Nuit Blanches, maybe eating some quesadillas. I will be celebrating my nickname, JaSonic, as well, because his name is a part of my nickname also, so I won't just be celebrating him. I actually still don't know what I will do, at this point, on Sunday for his 28th birthday, but I will do something.

Also, on Monday, when Doggy Radio comes around, it will be Quebec's National Holiday, Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day. There will be a lot of free outdoor concerts on that day ending with some fireworks. I may go see the fireworks, but the main event that I always go to is the firework competition.

Anyway, the change of the blog title is coming up and this is the second to last time that you'll see the title as "The Positive Hedgehog". Just a head's up to you guys. I'll be making some important changes coming up in the new title of my blog entitled "The Sonic Blog". Changes that Ricochet might like. I won't hint on anything just yet. I will give you guys a clue in a week from now...

This entry was written up on Friday, June 21st (the start of SUMMER!!!) at 12:56 in the morning.

'SONIC'S 28th BIRTHDAY!!!' on The Positive Hedgehog

June 23rd, YAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!! Right now I am just scanning TuneIn for different radio stations, asking Alexa to play different call letters of stations, which is cool. Boomer and I were boofing about an 1150 Radio Dhoom (WMNY, South Asian) and yes I receive that on TuneIn, and 1360 WGBN (Power 1360, gospel). I will be celebrating Sonic's birthday by being out in the afternoon and evening, so I won't be hearing Romeo's 1st half of his show nor Radiolawn (Ricochet, SHHHHH!!! Don't complain, alright?), but I will be back for Romeo's 2nd half and then Doggy Radio.

This is when I will sign off, but before I do, as always nowadays, I will be putting a timestamp on here. This entry was written up on Sonic's 28th birthday, Sunday June 23rd at 12:25am.

'Nope, you need to have an addendum in all my blogs, well up to July 1st anyway' on The Positive Hedgehog

Well, I am doing another entry and as you can see, I am not out and going to wherever I wanted to go. I am celebrating his birthday my own way this year. It sucks that Nick (the Sonic fan that used to be friends with me on Facebook and when I was seeing him one in a while) is not my friend anymore. My theory is that since he has a girlfriend, he has stopped being a Sonic fan.

Anyway, I went to the grocery store and bought some yummy stuff to help celebrate his birthday and I will be digging into that maybe while I am doing my DJ Sonic show tonight. Not to give it away, I will just say that Romeo isn't feeling up to par.

This entry was written up on Sonic's birthday at 5:37pm and now it's time for me to get the heck out of here. Over to you, Ricochet...

Sonic out.

'Fishing For Fishies / 97.7 Rocks, CHOM 97.7' on The Positive Hedgehog

Holy heck! I played it 1 time Monday night on my birthday show, and then 5 more times this morning on Tuesday. That song was stuck in my head. Still is right now. Ricochet, I have you to thank for that.

Anyway, on to 97.7. You know when I said that there was a signal emoting from billboards? It was more like a dead signal, with noise and a pulse. No message was heard or anything. Now, we were both talking about 97.7 WLER and CHOM 97.7 and while there is a low-powered Family Radio on that same frequency, Boomer's mad that the translator is not destroyed yet. He told me that he wishes that 97.7 would go off the air already so he can listen to the distant WLER signal. He also told me that Family Radio was supposed to go to 97.9, but that never materialized. Oh well. FISHING FOR FISHIES!

'DRATS! Postponed until tomorrow, Wednesday' on The Positive Hedgehog

Hi guys, I just want to tell you that because of weather conditions today, I will have to save my rib-eating for tomorrow, and that will be June 12th. My birthday weekend is officially over, but my BIG birthday supper is still pending, lol. Oh well. Talk to you either before or after I have my birthday meal.

'Well, I'm at it yet again!' on The Positive Hedgehog

I'm watching another person's perspective of the Las Vegas Blvd. and this one's only 1:12. I dunno how or why all these Las Vegas Blvd. walking tour videos are blooming all over the YouTube universe all of a sudden, but I like it as well. I didn't tell you this, though, but I am a people watcher also.

This short blog entry has been written at on Tuesday, June 11th at 11:22 in the evening.

'Extra entry for Thursday night' on The Positive Hedgehog

This has been the second or third time when the person, that is doing the walking tour, has been very interested with The Venetian hotel.

Even shorter entry written up by JaSonic on 6/11/19 at 11:49pm.

'2 times only before going to the Bar B Barn' on The Positive Hedgehog

Yup, only listening to Fishing For Fishies only twice right now before I need to go catch my bus, which is good since this song was stuck in my head yet again, thanks to Boomer for bringing it up Tuesday evening, lol. Anyway, the song is almost over, so I better scram.

This entry was written on Wednesday, June 12th at 3:37pm.

'The results are in!!!' on The Positive Hedgehog

Yo, what up gang? Post-Bar B Barn here, and it was a complete success! Yummy succulent fall-off-the-bone ribs, served with rice, potatoes and some yummy BBQ sauce that I forgot for dipping my fries in, like 60% of my fries weren't dipped. I am like kicking myself right now since that sauce was so yummy, but you know what? I finished that sauce with the bun that they gave me on the plate. I counted the ribs and I think they gave me 10 ribs instead of 9. Anyway, I was there only for the whole hawg dinner. I had it ALL! Man, it was too good! And yes, the interior was the same as back in the 80s. I am also glad that the restaurant still does very good business. When my bill came, I automatically slapped on a $20 tip. Yes, $33 and tax, but with very generous tip. I usually do tip generously :D

Anyway, after my meal I decided to have a little walk of health... 5 kms later, but it was all good since I was jamming out to CHOM 97-7. There's this bus, 201, that takes like a square route south to the southern tip of the Island of Montreal, driving west, turning north on a boulevard named Saint-Charles, going all the way north until you hit a street named Gouin and the bus goes east. The bus it on the northern tip now going along east, and then it turns to go south on another boulevard, Saint-Jean. And the bus dropped me at the same place I hopped on. The sun setting along the northern tip, while looking out over the water, was absolutely breathtaking! It was picture-perfect. Anyway, when I got back, I took my regular buses and came home rather early... before midnight this time.

'I have a choice / Kinda bored at times' on The Positive Hedgehog

Since I recently signed into my CNNgo app, I now have the ability to watch CNN, CNN International, and Headline News, all available on the app itself, and then you have all the latest news that you can watch. And now on to the 'Kinda bored at times' subject... Yes, even this hedgehog can be bored at times on the Internet, but I try to make good use of all the time that I am bored. Anyway, it's hasn't really been a really nice day today with temps in the upper 50s, lower 60s. I am on battery as of right now since I wanted to show something to my dad. I think I will leave it here for now.

This entry was done on Friday, June 14th (Trump's birthday) at 7:46pm.

'No Radio Rabbit Hole, Radiolawn, or Doggy Radio for me for this week' on The Positive Hedgehog

And there you have the picture before you. That's where I will be staying starting Monday in the afternoon with my dad. We have to drive there, so I can't be listening to my furry programming until 6 in the morning. I have to go to bed at a decent time so I could enjoy the car trip there. I probably won't even DJ there since I am thinking of not bringing my FM transmitter. My dad would want to take me out and about on Tuesday, and forget about trying to broadcast during the evening hours since Monday we get there, probably want to rest after a long drive like that, and Tuesday night I have to go to bed early. My dad doesn't want to stay an extra day since the weather may turn sour all day on Wednesday, even when we come back to Montreal. I will have Thursday to rest up and on Friday, I will be joined up by DJ Tails at the Action Center and will play our hearts out that day.

I will leave it there for now. You guys (in studio and the audience) have a very good upcoming week, alright?

'Right after Doggy Radio on Monday' on The Positive Hedgehog

Right at the tail end of the show, I hopped on Firefox on here and I got a notification from a Jennifer Cooke. I know here from a long time ago. She wanted me as a boyfriend ever since I was going out with my first girlfriend, Anna. She tells me that she's extremely busy. I will leave it here for now. Supposed to be only in the lower 50s today over here, by the way... crud!

'The starting of last week's blog' on The Positive Hedgehog

Boomer asked me since he was very curious on the last Doggy Radio, so here I go in answering him...

I can recall that stench like it was yesterday... wow, was it ever potent!!! It must have been a skunk. Why I left the window open after smelling it? I don't know... but all I know is that I didn't want that smell to linger on and on in my bedroom as it would have suffocated me while I was trying to sleep, so like a badass, I left the window open and I had to cope with the smell until it was completely gone. Unfortunately it went into the hallway and into the living room and that's where my dad was and I had to painfully explain it to him that there was a ruckus outside my bedroom window... perhaps a squirrel or something was trying to play with the skunk and the skunk lifted up its tail and well, the rest is history.

'Window-cleaning service' on The Positive Hedgehog

Thursday, June 6th - My dad had to wake me up because the person was coming over to do all our windows. Not smart that I went to bed and fell asleep around 9am. I woke up all groggy, yes, but I didn't complain since I knew what day it was. Anyway, every single window is clean now. I will have a good afternoon though. I might take a nap.

This entry was typed up in the afternoon at 3:29pm.

'From 1:30 until at least 3 in the morning' on The Positive Hedgehog

I am celebrating the beginning of my birthday weekend by watching a 2:18 (that's 2 hours and 18 minutes) of a night time walking tour of the Las Vegas Blvd. that was filmed last year. I already gave a 1:28 one to my dad of a walking tour of The Strip (Las Vegas Blvd.) during the daytime and he will be watching that when he has the time. Anyway, I am just pumped up for this weekend. I am going to be planning some activities as I go on my Nuit Blanches both Saturday night and Sunday night (going to be back before I have to put on my FM transmitter to broadcast the furry programming - The Rabbit Hole, Radiolawn, back to The Rabbit Hole, and then Doggy Radio.

Later after Doggy Radio, I will have a well-deserved sleep and I will perhaps wake up at 3 or 4 in the afternoon and go out with a BASH! Closing up my birthday weekend by eating like a pig... LITERALLY!

Bar B Barn!!! I have never been to that restaurant since I was a young hedgehog. I don't know how it looks inside since I was there last... I will find out then. Anyway, the price I will be paying for my meal will be $33, which is not all that bad when you think about it. I will put a picture of the meal I will be having.

And they have Baby Hawg, Half Hawg, and Whole Hawg. As the saying goes, "Go big, or go home!" so that is exactly what I will be doing, I will go big!

Anyway, I will be very busy this weekend, so I think I will end it here, on a Saturday morning... if I think of any extra things to put in, they will be as addendums, but for now, this is your birthday hedgehog saying to each and every one of you to have a very nice upcoming week.

'Addendum: That picture I sent to Shawn that's up on the main page' on The Positive Hedgehog

Yeah, Shawn wanted to turn himself into my sidekick since there's only the two of us, so why not Tails? DJ Tails. He really wanted the name change though, so I said yes to him.

Another addendum coming your way on The Positive Hedgehog! And watch out, because this one is pretty lengthy.

Mylanta!!! You know what's crazy about this morning around the 4 o'clock hour? The sky gets a bit brighter. I caught the sky getting a bit brighter from the night around 4:12, that's NUTS! Anyway, yeah I wanna tell Boomer something, but it will be also on my blog, lol... on the orange line of the subway, I had my walkman with me and for some odd reason there was something emitting a signal to 97.7 MHz. Must have been from a billboard that was lit up or something... that was on the western side, or as Boomer likes to say it, the 'westren' side. Now, on the southeastern corner of the orange line, and this counts for every FM frequency that Montreal is using, I still had it on 97.7 FM (CHOM, classic rock), and I got a Stereo signal in different parts while I was in the tunnel itself. I was wondering how this could freakin' be possible since the tunnels are all made out of concrete. I guess the same could be for cell phone service... they have it so that everyone can use their cell phones and talk to their loved ones. Now, if they can fix it so that everyone can listen to either AM or FM in the tunnel while riding the subway, that would be fudging SWEET!!!

Okay, well I didn't have a normal supper for the starting of my birthday weekend Saturday night. I walked over to a restaurant called 'Mucho Burrito' where I wanted to try some full cheese quesadillas, but I got there way too late. It's okay, though, because I did bring along some drinks and a bag of candy. I know it wasn't the best choice, but then I didn't know that the restaurant closed an hour earlier. The Internet LIED to me, lol, and it said it would close at 10pm when I went up to the door and it said that it closed at 9pm on Saturdays. Oh well... sucks to be me on the 1st day of my birthday weekend, huh? I will be going to Mucho Burrito much earlier tonight being Sunday night. I really want to try their quesadillas. And later on, yes, I might go back to the airport again.

Anyway, after that I went on my Plan B (although I was going to do this anyway after my supper if Mucho Burrito was still open) and it was walking over the overpass of Highway 40 to the other side and watch airplanes take off since the other side of Highway 40 was the airport runway. I was far enough, but near enough to smell some jet fuel, and let me tell you something, you don't want to smell any jet fuel since it smells sort of nasty. While walking back, I noticed that there was something wrong with a traffic light. As soon the red hand comes up, the countdown begins 19, 18, 17... and when it gets down to 0, the white walking guy is illuminated. There were some cars on the other street waiting for the light to turn green. I needed to physically press the crosswalk button to allow them to have the green light, but I need to call it in that this traffic light is malfunctioning.

Now I think I will call it a wrap, but before I do, I just want to edit what I said, but in an oral fashion (and no, not THAT kind of oral, you sick freaks! lol I know where your mind leads to)... I will not be listening to the beginning of The Rabbit Hole nor Radiolawn. I want to enjoy the 2nd day of my birthday weekend until it is OFFICIALLY my birthday Monday at midnight ET. I want to celebrate it with you two doggies on Doggy Radio. Sure, Romeo can celebrate this hedgehog's birthday to. Anyway, I am still going to have those quesadillas later on today (Sunday) and then on my birthday, I will eat all those yummy spare ribs!!! Mmmmm, my mouth is drooling just thinking about that! No more addendums for this week, I promise!

Sonic out.

'I know I said that I promise no more addendums, but this one IS THE ICING ON THE CAKE!' on The Positive Hedgehog

My good deed has been submitted. I just called it in using the Transport Quebec site. I feel VERY proud of myself for doing this. I just wanted everyone to know this, that's all. Now, NO MORE addendums... I am giving this a HARD promise. (fudge, not again... get your heads out of the gutter!!!)

Tornado-Warned Thunderstorms on The Positive Hedgehog

Between 11pm and midnight Monday night, there has been a very weird sound happening just outside my bedroom window. In came a very potent smell and I was wondering if I should go sleep in the living room. Now, I don't want to sleep in the living room. I am happy that the smell went away, so I can sleep soundly, and I am having an issue with Firefox on Fire TV... I am trying to look at live TV (Fox 28 Columbus (Ohio)) since there's tornado coverage and I am staying on top of this when I can. There was a storm chaser that let me take a glimpse of tornado damage west of Columbus. I have just warned Boomer that some of these thunderstorms have been tornado-warned and is coming to Pittsburgh rather fast. I just hope that this week is not a repeat of the week of May 20th until May 26th, even May 27th.

More later...

'Pretty active year, I am concerned for Boomer' on The Positive Hedgehog

I am concerned for you also, Ricochet, so don't worry. Climate change is really upon us all, and while Montreal is getting cooler than normal temperatures, it's really getting volatile to the south of me, which is not all that nice. Mother Nature, why do you do this? I know why... it's because we pollute so we're the cause of all of this... but all it comes down to is money money money. If money never existed in the first place, then we all could live without a care in the world... no money in jobs, no money in rent, and heck no money in cars and we could abolish the oil industry and use electricity for all transportation needs. I don't think people are listening to environmentalists and that's just sad. Meanwhile, this hedgehog is still here, pushing 42, and while all of this stuff is going on. I mean, yes, I love weather, but not really when there are concerning stuff happening in my friends' areas.

Anyway, it is gloomy outside, but I will still take myself out for a Nuit Blanche tonight.

-------------------

'As I sit in the bathroom toilet and think on a Thursday afternoon' on The Positive Hedgehog

I have to say that the weather in the states nowadays is like that movie years ago, "The Day After Tomorrow", although this is happening in late spring an not in the dead of winter. Storm after storm for Boomer. What about you, Ricochet? Did you get one storm or were they just coming one after another? [Waits for Ricochet's reply over the air]

Anyway, I want to say that over here in Montreal, water levels are still pretty high, but I am safe where I am right now. I am slightly getting more concerned about the future in weather now, and I think the damage has been done by humans FAR beyond repair. Me, since I was born, I have been environmentally-friendly in taking public transit, but yeah before taking public transit, I took a school bus. Not my fault that I was on something that did harm to the environment, I needed an education and I had to learn how to take the city bus properly when I was in my mid-teens or so. Anyway, I am getting off the point here. Weather is weather, and it's beyond our control what Mother Nature wants to do with it. Yeah, she can be a real b-word, but I think it's us humans that is making it happen as well. Doing some thinking here, I don't think the whole population of a major city can just take public transit at the snap of a finger. The transport agency would have to make lots and lots of buses for the whole population and a lot more subway stations like they have in New York City. Ugh, I am rambling on here, lol

I better end this... NOW!!! I will post another day. And oh yeah, one more thing... I changed my DJ schedule for the Action Center, either I just go in as JaSonic or I take the day off [also known as] (as) my "Sonic Day".

'Power outage and more storms for Boomer and Ric Sheepy' on The Positive Hedgehog

I saw the power go out this morning, Saturday morning, for like a half hour or so. My dad and I wanted to go somewhere today, but we went against going to that somewhere because it was still cloudy and coolish outside. We'll go some other time.

I see on my MyRadar app that there's major thunderstorms to the north of Boomer, but Ric will be getting a good one. This weather this year, wow. Nothing but clouds and coolish weather over here in my city and wicked weather to the south of me. Alright, then I guess that's just how it's gonna be,

The last entry for this week has been written up on June 1st at 5:28pm.

Sonic out.

[Short addendum] 'Oh Alexa!' on The Positive Hedgehog

After I ate supper, I came back home, searched the weather and I noticed a bunch of activity near Youngstown in Ohio and I ask Alexa a whole bunch of radio stations (referred to RadioStationWorld for a whole slew of call letters) in and around Youngstown and it seems that Alexa is having a huge problem finding radio stations for Youngstown and around the city. Maybe it's also how I pronnounce my letters as well. I do have the TuneIn app also on Fire TV, although it's easier to just ask Alexa to play a station, although sometimes I may not speak properly. I try to, but sometimes it just comes out wrong.

This addendum is a bonus and it was written up right at 8pm, the starting of my Saturday Night Safety Dance.

One more quick addendum, ok Boomer? This is to go to The Positive Hedgehog

Ooh boy, I have been E-Mailing Boomer lots this past week due to the weather, and now I think the weather is affecting my show, which means some dead air spots here and there on 102.3 FM (that's my SiriusXM transmitter). It might be too cool, but at least it's not on Sonic 95.5 FM where it might aggravate a lot more people. Yeah, I tried to keep this 2nd addendum short, but I guess it's impossible with me since I like typing on my keyboard... anyway, bye until the upcoming blog for Monday afternoon.

This 2nd addendum was an entry on Saturday, June 2nd at 12:03am and is sponsored by Ricochet's listeners like 'Hugh'.

'The dramatic CLIMAX for the end of the week' on The Positive Hedgehog (I swear you guys, this is the very end of this week's blog)

After a very volatile week last week in both Cleveland (Ohio) and Pittsburgh (Sonicylvania, lol... nah, Pennsylvania), it ends on a very volatile day on Sunday... Tornado-warned storm to the west of here and that same tornado-warned storm was chugging along to the north of my city. I am happy that there's no severe weather in my city. You see, Montreal doesn't get interesting weather, the weather diminishes over 'eastren' Ontario. I am happy about this since I can do more Nuit Blanches. Sure, there are abnormal temperatures here, but that does not bother me... I have my long pants.

I will be doing a live DJ set on my Sonic 95.5 FM until The Rabbit Hole and then I will throw my signal over to Romeo Rabbit's show.

This very last entry was done on Sunday, June 2nd at 8:08pm.
