'Open Street Map' on The Positive Hedgehog (February 19th)

I know I wrote about this in the past, but I just want to exclaim about the detail, I just can't get over it! Also, today I didn't go to the Action Center. I have to pat myself on the back even because the teacher, Andrea, E-Mailed me and said DJ Shawn was teaching a friend of ours on how to DJ. Soon I think, there will be three DJs as a part of her class instead of just two, and that simply be NUTS!!! lol

I don't know why, but as of late I have been very happy. Maybe because I have been a Sonic fan for such a long time! 1992 until 2019, wow I still can't get over it!!! I still ask myself why I love Sonic so darn much even to this day. I don't think I will ever find the answer, but maybe it's best that I don't find the answer and love him as much as I can.

Yeah, Open Street Map and a little extra there... but that's me, lol.

KTLA with The Steve Wilkos Show and laughing about something' on The Positive Hedgehog

While I am watching The Steve Wilkos Show before watching the KTLA News at 9pm (6pm Los Angeles time), I am remembering what I replied to Boomer as a goofball I am at times... he said Equestria Girls and I turned it around and said Esquire Girls, forgetting that Esquire is a magazine for men, rofl.

I can't type anymore right now because that was all I was laughing about on the inside.

'My new girlfriend' on The Positive Hedgehog

Her name is Liam, but she agreed on having the nickname "Amy". She's my Amy, and I'm her Sonic. She's just awesome! She lives in western Michigan and I won't say anything more since she doesn't want any stalkers. She only wants ME to stalk her since she really is head over heels for me, and I am head over heels for her also. We met on February 18th, or maybe before that since we were on a Discord server together I think. We spoke on the server itself before we both got fully involved with each other. She said my picture is very cute. She is very cute also since she showed a picture of her snuggling a stuffed sloth and Kermit the Frog. The sloth, by the way, I suggest the name Snook from It's A Big Big World, and she liked it, so Snook it is then.

What else, I guess I won't say anything more to you guys until I think up of some more content.

Real quick, though, I did do some snooping around Boomer's area via Google Maps' street view and saw a whole bunch of things. Yeah so that's that. Stay tuned for more...

'Just a little something' on The Positive Hedgehog

This past Friday, on the 22nd, I managed to get myself to the Action Center to DJ with Shawn, and then after when I came back, I even had a half Nuit Blanche starting with Taco Bell and those 5 infamous cheese quesadillas that I just adore eating. Afterwards, those cheese quesadillas were talking to me and I had to leave Second Life in an emergency... I mean I didn't want to poop my pants!!!

I am too damn honest. I showed my girlfriend (now ex girl) my fairly recent Facebook post and its 17 comments, many negative comments. I was willing to wait until she was 18. Yes, I will tell you all that she was 16, BUT here's the thing - the age of consent is 16, but eh she didn't want to see me in trouble, so she did what she had to do. It's been 5 days only, but I am not all that devastated.

Sonic 95.5 FM baby!!! I am now DJing on since about 7:15 on my way to do a switch over for The Rabbit Hole at 10pm. It always is a smooth transition over to Romeo's show. Anyway, yeah as Porky Pig says every time I end The DJ Sonic Show, That's All Folks! *slams the computer on the floor and breaks it, not wanting to do future blogs* lol nah I won't do that. I love my laptop too much, and I need to do my DJ shows over at the Action Center and elsewhere, online also.

Anyway, I need to go and concentrate DJing on Sonic 95.5 FM.

'Alright, I want to get one thing straight here!' on The Positive Hedgehog

Hi everyone! I would like to tell everyone that I lost Neo because of the guy not wanting a relationship with me. Yes, I said guy... he was a ftm transgender, and you don't fool around with those people. I mean it may be a bit confusing to me what goes on with their body, but I feel like I relieved him of something... a possible added strain that he was carrying because he was just too too busy. School and work and his parents at his throat... I am glad that I did what I did. Anyway, on to better news.

There isn't a lot of great news, but I guess I can finally say that the trouble areas that were iced up around my area is finally dissolving. I can do my normal DJ gigs again, starting next Tuesday since this Friday is the Valentine's Day dance at my work, work being the Action Center r r r r r r r r r r r r r r r r r r r r (allows Boomer to count the r's). I have been following weather out in California and they have been getting headache after headache after headache! Why doesn't Mother Nature give them a break?

Either Thursday or Friday will be lights out [with no electricity] from 8 in the morning until 3:30 in the afternoon, due to, I think, the construction site just beside of where I live, so that will be fun. I will be able to listen to my walkman.

'Valentine's Day power outage' on The Positive Hedgehog

Getting right into it fast, my dad and I thought that it was from 8 until 3:30, but then my dad called Hydro Quebec and they said that it was coming back on at 4:15, but guess what - the lights came back on at precisely 2:48pm. I was quick to set the time back on the clocks, I wasted no time there. Now I can't think of what else to say. My mind went totally blank there for a moment, but now I know what I want to say. I slept through the whole event, trying to stay warm since my bedroom went down to 65°F, which is not a very big deal. My dad went to see a movie, and yeah I wanted to stay nice and cozy in bed with my 20-inch Sonic.

Okay. Well, that was a thrill and I hope it doesn't happen again tomorrow since I will have more tomorrow maybe.

'DJ Sonic's night on February 15th' on The Positive Hedgehog

Boomer started to warm up the stream for me right at 7pm, as I asked him to open the 9595 port every time it's my night to have a show on. Anyway, he filled that 9595 port with disco music before I turned up the heat at 7:45. It's true that between him getting off my port, closing his Butt software, I had my Mixxx program all set up and ready to go, so right when the last song, that Boomer played, faded, I clicked the broadcast button thinking that I would be getting an error on my end because he still had the Butt software connected, but because my broadcast error had a buffer time, when Boomer closed his software, I was able to go on without a sweat. Also, because of the Internet delay, I am guessing that it was still normal when I clicked the broadcast button. Enough about that... Remember when Ricochet was mentioning that long 17-minute In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida song by Iron Butterfly? Well, DJ Sonic went on YouTube and got that song and played it on the air. All-in-all, a pretty damn good show was had. I played both Husky Loops and Ava Max twice. "Everytime I Run" and "Sweet But Psycho" respectively. Those 2 songs may get to be a DJ Sonic favorite soon.

'Bunch of 109.1 FM stations in Haiti' on The Positive Hedgehog

While I am listening to 90.5 FM (Signal FM) in Haiti, I just want to say that I think the FM dial only goes up to 107.9 so the 109.1 FM stations really bewilder me. Sure, maybe there could be an 108.1, but a 109.1? I don't know about that. Anyway, this one is a very short entry, but more will come later.

In between a nice refreshing shower and a lunch buffet, I need to quickly jot this entry in. As well, I am waiting for my hair to dry nicely. My dad and I are going to be getting together with a few friends of ours, Robert & Anne, who wanted to join us for the Chinese buffet. I guess I will leave it there, but I will just say one last thing - I am hoping that I will be in the chat panel (Pawpet IRC) Monday morning since I went to bed SUPER early Saturday night at 7:15pm, rofl. I woke up the next morning at 6:45 and I feel really rested, but that may mean I might not be there... I hope I will be though.

Anyway, that's it for this week, ending on February 17th. I hope some of you guys enjoyed me DJing on Friday night. The next time I will be on will be March 1st. HECK! I just checked and I didn't sign out for this week yet, well then that gives me an opportunity to sneak on with another entry. My lunch buffet was out of this world. My friends gave me some candy and 2 Sonic comic books, which was awfully nice of them, and now I am ready as ever to take on the night tonight (Sunday night) since I got ample amount of Diet Pepsi (2 6-packs) and some peanut butter cookies to nomnomnom on.

'Action Center, nap, and KTLA watching' on The Positive Hedgehog

First, ACTION CENTER (capitalizing because I know how Ric is whenever I say the word). It was a blast! For the second week in a row I went in the morning to make up for the lost times in January. This week, though, I will be going on Friday, all day, so I will come back all tired again, but that is fine.

Nap time, yes I wanted to write my entry right when I came back home Tuesday, but I was a tad too tired, so I laid down for a nap, but then I fell asleep and I had a great sleep. A bit more than 10 hours.

Los Angeles is still messy with what I saw on KTLA. It's just every day news, ya know? But now with more extreme weather which is a bit worrisome.

And a bit extra: Now, Boomer gave an E-Mail with 'Equestria Girls' on it, but then I go ahead and reply to him with 'Esq. (or esquire) girls'. I was laughing at myself since I didn't think of looking back and checking what he used. My fault.

YES sirree, I just thought up of The Sonic Blog on the spur of the moment so on July 1st, it will be changed to The Sonic Blog from The Positive Hedgehog, so just a head's up to everyone.

Now, I want everyone to know that I won't be able to be on Pawpet IRC during the evening or on Monday morning since my and I are gonna go somewhere for just 1 night, and it had to be on a Sunday into Monday. It's fine, at least I can get the Doggy Radio podcast... I don't want anyone to worry about this hedgehog. I am okay.

OH! YES! *** BREAKING NEWS, EVERYONE *** - I found myself a girlfriend. Her name is Neo the Hedgehog on Second Life, and I will keep her real name and location private since I don't want Neo to have the same kind of reaction that Lily had, sheesh that was bad! I can now freely mention Lily's name (although Lily wasn't her real name, so what the hey) because I am not with her anymore. Neo is almost 20 years old and really into me, loves Sonic and also is a plushophile, so all of this is splendid! She also said to me that she has nothing that she hates about me. I just love that!

'Orford Inn - ADDENDUM!' on The Positive Hedgehog

I have arrived at Auberge Orford (french way of saying Orford in) and I must say, it's very pretty over here, and the WiFi is very strong. I got a lot of radio stations on my walkman while traveling to Magog (where this Inn is located) and while you guys will be on the radio, Doggy Radio, this hedgehog will be sleeping. Check-out is at 11 in the morning, so I can't like go to bed at 6 or 7 in the morning only to get woken up like at 10:30 to get ready to leave. I would really be dead tired to enjoy the nice drive back home.

This is why I will be downloading the podcast, but lemme tell you something... I saw lots of potholes on the way here. My dad had to dodge some pretty good ones. The government, who looks after all the roads over here, has been doing a HORRIBLE job of dealing with these potholes. This year, starting of 2019, has been the WORST winter yet in my books. Just back home, there is like very good chunks of slippery ice on the sidewalks, so I guess there won't be any Action Center for me on Tuesday, sad to say.

I am going to TRY and attempt to go to the Action Center this morning. Either ice will stop me or I will just have to turn back since the building is closed today, but I hope not. It'll just be a good right to and from if that's the case. I'll see if I can write another entry later on today.

The morning of January 30th. Well what can I say? I had a really nice time at the Action Center with DJ Shawn. Yesterday morning I took my time getting to the bus stop and going to work, and yeah, I do call DJing work, but it's fun work. Now I am just reminiscing the fun time that I just had since I got out of my house after 4 weeks of being inside. Also, next Tuesday looks promising for DJ Sonic to go again, so I am very happy about that!

The Positive Hedgehog on a Wednesday night

I slept until 10pm, wow. That must be the latest I slept until. My bed is too cozy, lol.

Anyway, I am feeling quite confident in myself that ... hold on here though. I'm saying that I am feeling quite confident even though I know that climate change is happening before my eyes? It should be the exact opposite in how I am feeling right now, the only difference is that when I wake up [no matter what time it is], I don't immediately look out the window since I do close my blinds when I go to bed. Normal people do that I think. I need to get my bus pass renewed for next month and tomorrow is the absolute deadline, so I will be either hopping on the 110 or 495 to go to the subway station. Not tonight because it's a bit too late for that. Just think of it, when the OFFICIAL Nuit Blanche comes around, and I wake up like 8 or 9 at night, I'll be able to go out, start my Nuit Blanche, but nope I will have to wake up at 4pm in order to go to Taco Bell to start my night off the right way. That's all the ramblings I have for now.

LOL here is a fun fact for everyone to take in - Since my biological clock is on its head nowadays, there are less people to talk with, which in turn makes it quieter. I know that I get lonely at times, but eh there's still plenty to do overnight... I am talking mostly about online. The Internet NEVER sleeps, and usually I can find some people to talk with on Second Life.

'Another Facebook status for Friday morning (February 1st) on The Positive Hedgehog

I am up and awake now, thanks to the odd sleeping hours that I have been having, thanks to old man winter, lol. I guess I can blame him for some of this.

Anyway, I wanted to say that I have changed 2 things in my bedroom. First off, I took down all the cardboard cut-outs, of anything that has to do with Sonic, from my computer desk cupboard since the blue gum was getting old and they were about to fall down anyway. I just didn't want to wake up in the middle of the night only to hear a loud sound of a cardboard cut-out falling down from why cupboard.

Anyway, that's my first change in my bedroom, and now for the second change... I have placed by second mini laptop notebook next to my bed on a bedside table so I could use it for TuneIn every night. I might do other stuff with it when I am sitting watching TV in bed at times. Anyway, I am thinking that this long status that I just made would be good for Doggy Radio (part of my furry programming on Sunday nights starting with The Rabbit Hole with Rome Rabbit and ending with Doggy Radio with Boomer the Dog and Ricochet Sheepdog).

'Interesting weather for California' on The Weather Network (gonna leave this huge typo here, but I meant "on The Positive Hedgehog")

It seems that it's been cloudy and raining nonstop, either that or very windy over there. Now, with the rain in the burn scar area (remember when there were very big fires over there) is now a big flood risk area, with mud flows, rock debris flows and whole recipe for disaster. KTLA just said rain for several days, which is not very good for people living there. They need to evacuate several times in the beginning of this year it seems. Anyway, before watching KTLA this morning, I was watching WGN in Chicago, and the temperatures are much better over there. I guess the Polar Vortex is only limited to Canada now, and a well they say that it's now moving west and not east, which is a very unusual weather pattern.

Now, with that "The Weather Network" huge typo, I had some laughs at myself right after I noticed that I typed that out. I guess I had weather on the mind when I wanted to say 'The Positive Hedgehog' instead of what I said.

Anyway, I watched Groundhog Day with Bill Murray this morning and I managed to have the movie finish at the same time that Bill Murray gets out of bed every same day, on February 2nd at 6 in the morning playing that infamous "I Got You Babe" song by Sonny & Cher on that alarm clock radio.

I might leave it here because I think I wrote enough this week. This past Tuesday was a very slippery time to get to the Action Center, and I went in the morning this time, to get out of the house because I had cabin fever. I made it in okay, but I just had to watch out when I was walking on the road until the bus stop to my work.
