Vacation blog for 9-26-2017

My vacation blogging continues...

Tuesday, there was a thunderstorm in the morning, but then I followed another storm that was over the eastern part of Montreal, but then when I traveled too far east past it, I guess it cleared up to where there wasn't any thunderstorm anymore. I waited for the 85 bus that was taking a heck of a long time while I was waiting for it beginning at 10:30 at night. Thankfully it wasn't raining or else it would have been a miserable walk back to the subway station. It was nice although it was coolish a tad.

Anyway, I didn't do anything Wednesday, although at 5:20pm (the time that I *WAS* supposed to be teching for CKUT, although the person that founded The Avalanche said to me that I didn't have to come), I was on the bus again, and this time I took the 411 (used to be the 221) bus to Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue and had a little Subway treat. I always tend to get the same exact thing - Pizza sub on flat bread, all dressed with hot peppers and with buffalo and ranch dressing. Mmmm mmm! Was the person who recommended that to me ever right! Anyway, I sat outside on a picnic table to enjoy that somewhat messy pizza sub (none of it got on me or the table, thankfully) and was listening to CJAD 800 AM since I had my walkman with me. I brought along some Diet Pepsi, that I bought on Tuesday, to have with the pizza sub, and I had to drink it after I finished because while I was eating my pizza sub, I got messy fingers. You guys don't want to hear about that, lol. Took the 211 back rather early, took the 202 to the 204 and ended up at the airport where I had to go to the bathroom. After that, the 747 (yes, there actually is a 747 bus here in Montreal) took me back to the subway station and I came back home.

Thursday came and I was looking at NOAA and I saw that the rainbands from Cindy has stretched all the way up to the Pittsburgh area. It will be Montreal's turn on Friday. We're expecting thunderstorms, and it's Sonic's 26th birthday on top of that as well.

Friday was Sonic the Hedgehog's 26th birthday, and I celebrated it with Nick once again. I came home a bit earlier from Nick's place, so that gave me an excuse to do some of my Nuit Blanche.

Saturday, I did my Nuit Blanche again.

On Sunday, I watched an airport walkthrough of the Denver Airport (thinking of JCollie719 there) and before that I went to get my Diet Pepsi, so it wasn't that much of a boring day.

I'm getting ready to listen to The Rabbit Hole, Radiolawn, and Doggy Radio.

Thanks for listening to Doggy Radio everyfur!

Vacation blogging (replaced from my normal Hedgie With a Bloggy on Doggy™ until September) June 19, 2017

Vacation blogging! Short blog this time, starting with Thursday evening -

I did my mini Nuit Blanche where I started walking for 3 hours, having stops for like 2 to 3 times to have some stuff I bought that I brought along in my Sonic bag. Boy, was the bag ever heavy for all that time that I walked. When I hopped on the bus to go back home when I was on the other end of my walk, I was all bent out of shape, but wow did I ever feel accomplished! Anyway, when I got home, I knew that bad weather was coming for this weekend in my area.

Friday - I E-Mailed Boomer kind of late when I saw Ross Township (around Pittsburgh) up here on The Weather Network - (not at all the same as The Weather Channel. I envy you guys down there!) - Ross Township have some flooded streets.

Saturday - Today was a very VERY active day in Ontario with tons of tornado warnings. There was storm after storm coming from the state of Michigan. Toronto was briefly in a tornado warning at 3pm local time. Died down now, but they said that Sunday's going to be even more unstable due to the very high humidity coming from the south. I will be blogging on Sunday all about the weather and then I might only get this sent after midnight for Monday, but I don't know yet... time will tell.

Sunday - As of 4:15 in the morning, The Weather Network tells me that there is a 70% risk of strong thunderstorms in the afternoon and 80% of thunderstorms in the evening, so I'm going to wait to see if this materializes or not since I am a pretty damn big weather enthusiast. Since I am kind of tired tonight, and with not a lot of money left for my furry programming, I think this weekend and next weekend will be pretty low key for me since I have to still think about my trips to CKUT this coming Wednesday and next Wednesday, and also the Bazaar, and also to renew my bus pass for next week. I still would like to do my exercise routines, take the bus and subway also for the coming months, although less when it gets way colder outside, but I think I would be able to pull these trips off until the end of October at least, and then I would be able to do it all over again in 2018, then 2019 and 2020, and on and on.

Tonight, maybe I will be able to wake up in time for Doggy Radio... that's what I am aiming for. And for the wx department, there was a lot of static on the AM band with the distant lightning discharge, but there wasn't any storms that came... what a bummer. Oh well.

That's it for this week for my vacation blogging. Hedgie With a Bloggy on Doggy™ (normal hedgehog blogging) will be on hold until September.

Hedgie With a Bloggy on Doggy™ for June 12, 2017

Hi everyone! By the time Boomer reads this blog, it will be 2 days that I have been 40 already. That's right, this will be the second week of this not being a normal blog. I'm happy that I do it this way because it gives me time to think of more ways of conducting a better blog, and maybe I'll use this format from now on, but who knows. Anyway, on to my blog...

This past Monday I was at the Action Center the whole day despite of not getting any sleep. I fell asleep right when I came home in the afternoon.

On Tuesday, I did it again for the whole day just to observe the morning cooking class and then it was time to set up for my time to DJ.

No CKUT on Wednesday.

/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\

Thursday was just a day of walking and taking the bus. Thursday night into Friday I tried getting to sleep, but didn't. I *WAS* going to write a little note to the teacher saying that I wouldn't come in, but no I decided to wing it, and BOY was I ever a freak on the dance floor when I played my megamix for that one time only on Friday. I don't know where all that energy came from since I didn't have any sleep whatsoever. And yes, Nick did come over as planned. Everyone loved him since he was dressed up as Sonic.

Saturday - It was my 40th birthday! Nick came to get me at around 12:10pm and we both went to get some food (I ordered 2 Michigan hot dogs (Chilidogs since I adore Sonic), 2 hamburgers. some french fries and onion rings (Gold Rings since, again, I adore Sonic) and ate it at a park as we had a picnic with a blanket and everything. I compiled a playlist to play on my WinAmp while we had the picnic since I have lots of battery power when my laptop has been fully charged. I had 15 songs on that playlist - Sonic songs, birthday songs, and some really good dance songs. After the picnic, we both went to his place where I set up my DJ equipment where I did some DJing for him (Yes, even on my birthday... it's what I love to do, so I provide whenever I can). After having a pizza-ghetti supper with 2 slices of pizza and garlic spaghetti, we both went to Dairy Queen and then he drove me home.

/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\

Sunday - I got up at around 1pm, did my stuff and knew that I was invited somewhere, some of my friends elsewhere, and we all went to the restaurant. Scallops and shrimps were on the menu for me. We all parted ways and now I am home, and I just got notified that Romeo was on FPS, so his show might be canceled for tonight, and Steelwoulfe told me that he was on the air on Saturday, so that's great!

This is the part where I usually end the blog, but nope not this time...

LOOKING INTO THE FUTURE!!!

Monday after Doggy Radio, I might go to sleep or do other things, I'm not sure.

Tuesday to Thursday, my dad will be taking me on a little trip 2 hours and a half from here to the northeast, past Quebec City. I will be DJing for myself obviously since I will be taking my headphones. I told the person who founded The Avalanche on CKUT that I wouldn't be coming on Wednesday due to my dad taking me somewhere far away from Montreal, somewhere called Ste-Anne-de-Beaupré (pronounced Ste-Anne-de-Beaupray). Yeah, I know that we have Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue here, but my dad and I love car trips, but the downside to this is that my dad snored while he sleeps. I forgot to tell you that Monday's supposed to be a thunderstorm, so I may want to go out in the thick of it, but while I am in a rain jacket.

NOW this the end of my blog. Thanks to all of you for listening!

Hedgie With a Bloggy on Doggy™ for June 5, 2017

Jun 04 2017

Now, this won't be the normal blog I do every week since I want to do something different for the last few days of me being 39. Yes sirree, I'm getting to be an old muzzle hedgehog, but hey at least I still have my good health since I have been doing my exercise routines - Since April 23rd of this year when it's a nice day out or just an okay day, Mini Nuit Blanches featuring some walking and not only the buses and subway are of the menu, although I do love traveling on buses, less on the subway since there are a heck of a lot more buses in my city than subway stations. So yes, I won't be doing my usual Monday to Sunday blog this week.

It was a dark and dreery week for this hedgehog this past week, but I still made the most of it. Again, I didn't go to the Action Center nor CKUT, BUT!!! A surprise show on iVlog for Friday night, and I am happy that I did that because I am miss DJing, but after Doggy Radio airs once again, the week should pick up.

And all of you - TAKE NOTE!!! This hedgehog will be 40 in 5 days when Boomer reads this on the air to all of you. He was thinking of sending me an AM transmitter along with Ricochet, but nah since this hedgehog only likes Stereo! The sound is so much better when it's in

>>>>> STEREO (Where available) <<<<< lol I just had to put the "(Where available)" in since it's sort of like reminiscing the 80s when I saw that posted on shows. I'm sure Boomer will tell you what Ric and him will be sending me through snail mail.

So yeah, that's it... but there is one more thing that I need to tell all of you, and it's happening at the end of the month, on June 30th. The Action Center is having its annual summer Bazaar and they've asked me, again, to play some music while the event is on, and that means 8 hours of DJing that day... I'm SO ready for that!

Oh! And for this week only, I'll be sharing my grocery list for you all... 4 round cheeses, 3 Monster drinks (Ultra Blue version), and one box of peanut butter cookies. I'm all set for tonight and tomorrow morning. Steelwoulfe told me that The Rabbit Hole should be returning next weekend, so that means I have ample time to play with Sonic and then tune in to Doggy Radio.

At 12:24am on Monday, I was in the living room looking if there was any rain that had fallen, but nope not yet, and I was starring at the wall for about 20 to 30 seconds, and yes I did see a few headlights. I know, call me weird, lol
