The Positive Hedgehog on Doggy Radio™ for 9-25-2017

Welcome, again, to a brand new rambling blog called 'The Positive Hedgehog on Doggy Radio™ where I am at CKUT on Wednesday, and when I was at the Action Center on Tuesday, it was my 2nd week of playing before break and the other DJ, DJ Pump, plays after the break. We are trying something new rather than rotating back and forth since he has different style of music that he plays, and recently I got some complaints that he was playing the same artists every single week, and since I came back since the first week of September, I am going to look at that and see where he went wrong. It's now Saturday and we're on our way down from up north. My dad and I stayed somewhere for a few days. I am now just enjoying my own music with some fall folliage all around me.

Sunday night and it's a humid one! Just DJing on my Sonic 95.5 radio station until I turn things over to Romeo for The Rabbit Hole. Tonight my grocery list's pretty simple. Just bought 3 items due to little money, and I have to leave like $50 because the bank will take up to that amount depending on how many times I have used my bank card throughout the month.

Grocery list - Assorted licorice, 2 bottles of Brisk (1 limonade and 1 regular iced tea). $4.86 was what I had to owe, which is great because this week I am trying to stretch my money until next Sunday which is the 1st of October.

That's it for me for this week on The Positive Hedgehog. Love you guys, on Doggy Radio, Romeo with The Rabbit Hole, and the whole PBN! I love you guys also in Pawpet IRC.

Ugh! I need to hurry up and send this in, lol. I don't have anything right now, so this week's ramblings will be kind of bland. Sucks that the Funday Pawpet Show ended so abruptly, but Hurricane Irma was quite a hurricane and the crew just couldn't handle it anymore, and I know the pain that it can be while going through a hurricane. I never been in one myself, but I see scenes on CNN that is just devastating, so my heart is with everyone who is in a hurricane's path. It's a force of nature that is way way *WAY* beyond our control. It's climate change... FAKE NEWS!!! What, Mr. Trump? It's not fake news!!! You should open your eyes wider. But nah, I won't discuss any politics here... I will stay positive like 'The Positive Hedgehog' I am. Since my ramblings will be heard at 2am ET instead of 5am, well more of an audience for me to please... No, not THAT kind of pleasing, dirty-minded furs.

Anyway, I think I will sign off for now, but before I sign off, I will turn myself into RTR for just a few seconds and say "Keep Hoppin' Happy!" God Bless you, RTR! You will be remembers by us for quite a long time!

Welcome, all of you, to The Positive Hedgehog on Doggy Radio™! I'm very happy to start up something new and fresh with all of you. Just lots of ramblings that I have.

I am hearing that Hurricane Irma is not a kind hurricane, being a major hurricane. I don't need to remind you guys, speaking after the hurricane, that material, houses, cars can be replaced... lives can't. I have been hearing that there were some people wanting to stay back and weather the storm... not a smart idea at all. I don't know if those people did make it. I was on top of the storm on CNN since I am a weather enthusiast. But yeah, since I am a positive hedgehog hence the name, I know that the cast of the Funday Pawpet Show and Romeo will be all okay and doing well.

Grocery list this week consists of breakfast bars, peanut butter Ritz sandwiches, 3 Chunky KitKat bars, some coconut cookies, dark and cream hazelnut wafers. 1 6-pack of Diet Pepsi, and 1 6-pack of Brisk.

I have waited until Sunday at midnight into Monday, and can't think of anything to say right now.

And I think that will do it for the 1st week of The Positive Hedgehog. I hope you all have a great week ahead, and for all of you in Florida, the rebuiding begins since Irma was very very destructive.

Vacation Blogging continues for just 1 week September 4, 2017

ATTENTION TO EVERYONE THAT IS READING THIS!!! On September 11th, my blogging may or may not continue with the new title I am going to make for all my ramblings. After September 4th, this will no longer continue as Hedgie With a Bloggy on Doggy™ as it did for the longest time, nope... all my ramblings will now be done in The Reflecting Hedgehog on Doggy Radio. I kind of like the ring to it and I thought this title up when I was in bed this morning trying to get back to sleep, but something came over me, decided to get up, and write this down so I don't forget the new title I will be giving my ramblings, because let's face it... it's not really much of a blog anymore since I see it as "JaSonic's Ramblings", but I want to give this a much more sophisticated title than just "JaSonic's Ramblings", so you guys have that to look forward to. What I write down in "The Reflecting Hedgehog" might be something dear to me, or it might be me going of on a tangent like one of Ricochet's rant. It's Sunday September 3rd right now and I just thought of something... I will put it as The Positive Hedgehog on Doggy Radio™ instead. Stuff inside The Positive Hedgehog still might be something dear to me, so stay tuned and see what I write for the 1st week of my fresh new title.

Anyway, my vacation blogging continues for just 1 more week...

TUESDAY, August 29th - On my way up north for a mini vacation at a hotel, only for one night this time, and then coming back via a route that goes through a town named Kazabazua. Downloaded the podcast from the show on the 28th, but I see that I didn't have to do that now since I downloaded the whole website also, and the podcast was included in that download, lol, and even another past Doggy Radio show.

WEDNESDAY, August 30th - Woke up at 9:20 and had some morning coffee. We're on the road again, on our way to Kazabazua, down to Ottawa back to Montreal. First, we may be having some lunch over in Ottawa. While we're getting closer to Route 105 in Quebec, I forgot to mention that I did stop the podcast at 2 hours and 34 on Tuesday, but I am continuing the rest today, and it may finish when we arrive at the junction for the 105. Nope, it was 2 hours and 56 minutes when we got to the junction. RIP Jay Thomas! I heard the Dog and the Cellphone bit, and it was really funny, and Ricochet really was informative on him. While I was listening to the ending of Doggy Radio, I have to pause and just say that I applaud you, Ricochet, for saying what you said on Jay Thomas. And yes, I noticed that audio glitch every now and then, thought it was my laptop, lol. Technology sometimes does that to you. So yes, I said that we would pass Kazabazua, but I lied. I took a bathroom break in Kazabazua. Spent 1 hour and 10 minutes in Ottawa because we were looking for Highway 417 east back to Montreal amidst all of the construction in the city. Not even a bite to eat for lunch, but that's okay since I was more frustrated than hungry.

THURSDAY, August 31st - Nothing happened, but was really wanting my money to hurry up and get in my bank since I was thinking on going to a buffet Friday night in the west island, a bit out of my way, but for great Chinese food.

FRIDAY, September 1st - AH YES, September! Well, we made it you guys! A brand new month, AND this is the day when my bus pass starts to work again. Still devastating what happened in Houston and surrounding areas - this hedgehog's prayers and thoughts are with them. Yeah, Harvey might have passed, but he cause a lot of headache for Houstonians and then some. Anyway, enough about that and let's get through Friday. My dad invited a friend over to my surprise, and I might delay my Nuit Blanche because it's not all that warm out today. Saturday night I might be headed over to said buffet - Jade Palace buffet. They have superb peanut butter dumplings... THE BEST IN MY BOOK!!! I will be reminding myself of the change that I will be doing with my ramblings on my laptop wallpaper. When I open my Documents folder, I notice that I have both Hedgie With a Bloggy on Doggy (no ™ this time since I want to reserve it for the new title) and Vacation blogging... I guess I can keep Vacation blogging until September 3rd or 4th and just change Hedgie With a Bloggy on Doggy to The Positive Hedgehog on Doggy Radio™. Doggy Radio really needs to have a ™ because I respect you guys in the highest form. Boomer & I connect with radios and computers... we're techie guys! And Ricochet, I don't really connect with you all that much in terms of taking pictures... I am not a hedgehog that takes a lot of pictures, but I am a good friend of yours. And this is a part of what The Reflecting Hedgehog is going to be... more ramblings about stuff, and yes I might still be saying what I am doing on a daily basis. At aroung 4:45, the guest came. I came out of my bedroom with my notebook and I kept the main laptop in my bedroom. Despite the cool weather, I will still be doing a Nuit Blanche tonight.

SATURDAY, September 2nd - My main laptop ran into a problem and was trying to get on it for about 5 to 6 minutes. Thankfully nothing was lost, but that was weird since my laptop didn't run into a proble for quite a few months now. During the day, I wanted to go get Sonic Mania, but when I got to the store, they were only selling the version for the PS4 and I need the PC version. True, there was a Sonic statue that was included, but what good is the statue if you can't even play the game? Anyway, I am still going to treat myself to that buffet tonight. Peanut Butter Dumplings, HERE I COME TO MUNCH YOU UP, NOMNOMNOMNOM!!! In between going to the store and going to the restaurant, I don't know how I felt - a part of me (one-fourth) said to go back to the store and buy the damn thing because of the statue, but the a major part of me said to just let it slide. I still need to wait for the PC version although Wikipedia did say that August 29th was the day that the PC version would come out everywhere... oh well. I have my plush toys and these are always the best.

SUNDAY, September 3rd - Rainy Sunday over here. Wanted to go get some Diet Pepsi or maybe some more Monster ULTRA BLUE so I can stay awake for the furry programming. It may let up some where I can put on my rain jacket and just go. Around 7pm now and was pondering if I should just go and walk in the light rain, which I will do since I have no choice since I wanna come back and get ready for The Rabbit Hole. My other plan was to go on the bus and subway to another grocery store, but I would come back too late and I wanna avoid coming back late. Right now, though, I need to go get a move on and when I come back, I will be adding on to my grocery list from what I already have, which is 5 salt & vinegar Pringles cans and a box of Bear Paws chocholate chip cookies with quinoa as an ingredient. At 8:40pm, I decided to do some DJing on Sonic 95.5 FM to see if I could do the perfect transition from my DJing to Romeo's stream at 9pm.

My grocery list may continue on here with the new title, so stay tuned, but for now, this is the last grocery list and my last blogging on the "Vacation blogging" file.

New grocery list consists of: 1 box of poptarts, chocolate coated and filling

2 cans of Monster ULTRA BLUE again since I didn't want to buy any Diet Pepsi this time,

a bag of dried apricots, 2 PROBIOTIC juices (strawberry & banana, peach passion fruit), 2 bags of Amooza string cheese (1 bag cheddar & mozzarella and the other bag just mozzarella), some good imitation crab that still needs to be thawed out at almost 8:25 at night.

So yeah, I have everything that I ever wanted at my grasp. I need to eat some Bear Paws too since it's been a few days that I even touched the box, hehe.

Anyway, thanks, as always, for tuning in for my weekly blogs. ESPECIALLY to the PBN every weekends! This concludes my Vacation blogs, STAY TUNED for something totally NEW next week and the following weeks to come.

Sonic out.
