This time, I am starting my postings at the Action Center, the day after Doggy Radio, March 22nd, which is nice because I never started it here before. It's rare as well that I start it over here.

This is Hedgie With a Bloggy on Doggy™ for March 28th, 2016.

This will be the Tuesday that I will be starting with. I made it to the Action Center and started off with the FM transmitter, Sonic 95.5 FM which is Action Center's closed circuit radio station. Right now as I write this, I am having loads of fun! I then gradually got my Logitech system all set up. Everyone had lots of fun, especially when it was time for the bean bag toss. Two people were extra playful when they were throwing bean bags at each other.

Wednesday morning before I went to bed, I watched a lot of episodes of Supernanny on YouTube, I don't know why, lol. I will pick this blog up again when I have time later on in the day. Now at the radio station, CKUT, I have my 'DJ Sonic mix' on the programs, Off The Hour and The Avalanche. What I do is really fun. We discuss about accessibility things and stuff, and then downstairs at the Production Control Room, or PCR, we do interviews and stuff, and we make good radio. In the Main Control Room, MCR, I think I am doing a pretty damn good job since we're only 3 for this afternoon - Stephane, Kevin, and me JaSonic. After the show, all 3 of us went down to the subway, and then we all were giggling about "Puppy Monkey Baby", and I will provide a link to that weird commercial.

I don't have anything to talk about for Thursday. This is kept here for the second week in a row.

On Friday, I went to the Action Center for 8:45am for a trip to the sugar shack. After we finished eating, I was able to DJ over there for my group. I was very amazed that I could. 1st time for everything, you know? I was so happy that was able to DJ. They really do have a good sound system over there! After supper at 7pm when I was back home, I put up one of my many wallpapers that identifies with what I am about to do - DJing for myself until 8:45pm because I need to get myself ready to party with my favorite DJ on Second Life. I just adore on how my Logitech sound system for my computer sounds!!! Nice rich sound, even if all my music is in MP3 format. 5 minutes late to climb on my favorite DJ's stream, but will be climbing on Second Life in a few minutes. Also, tonight I wrote a note on my CKUT / The Avalanche wallpaper saying that Sonic 95.5 FM will be changed to Sonic 90.7 FM as of April 6th, but only on Wednesdays since I do DJ over there. They have a radio in the 'CKUT News' office, and the radio is kind of hard to operate when it scans all the stations that do come in, so since CKUT is located on 90.3 FM, Sonic will have a new home on Wednesdays on 90.7 FM, but again it's only as of April 6th.

Saturday, I woke up at 10:30 and took the bus at 11:27. I went to the mall, but a bit further away this time, with my good friend, Charlie. The bus came 3 minutes late and Charlie arrived at the mall 55 minutes late, but I kind of deserved that since 2 weeks ago, I did come late at the mall, so this time it was me that needed to wait. He said sorry a couple of times, but I said that it's not his fault. When I came down to the subway before I saw Charlie, there was a song that I wanted to look up since it was playing on the radio. I liked the beginning tune of the song, but the subway went into the tunnel and I lost the radio station's signal while I was traveling in the tunnel on the subway. Also, all of you listeners to Doggy Radio did see the layout map of the subway station over here in Montreal, and I want to tell you that all the subway cars on the orange line has electronic signs. The purpose of me telling you this is because the signs emit a signal to 103.1 MHz and it's a very strong signal, maybe about 1 watt around the subway cars on the orange line. There will be some new subway cars in 2018 called AZUR that will be gradually replace the old cars. The subways cars that are on the tracks right now are from way back to when the subway in Montreal first opened in 1967. There is only 1 AZUR running on the orange line as we speak for testing with passengers on, and I did ride it a couple of times. Less bumpy than the old cars and perfect climate control. Also, updated electonic signs which is more efficient to passengers! I am happy with the new AZUR. BUT, and here comes a big 'but', I have not tested my walkman on it as of yet to see if the updated electronic signs emits a signal to any FM frequency. Also, I am really glad that I remembered to do 3 things without the need of writing it down, using a pencil and paper, when I came back home. One of those things was the fact that I needed to remember that song I needed to get, and I will be giving that song to Boomer to play it on Doggy Radio. This song was heard on a local classic rock station over here, CHOM 97.7 FM. While the Saturday Night Safety Dance show was on, I had it on Sonic, my FM station 95.5, and like I promised Boomer quite a while ago, I did another range test, and I found out that the signal was more powerful this time when I went to the bus stop across the street and when I was walking west towards the grocery store. When I was walking east from my house, I got another radio station from Plattsburgh NY / Burlington VT on the same exact frequency... 95 Triple X, and that's a Top-40 station for those areas. 95.5, 95 Triple X, is 25 kW so it's pretty powerful. Now, I also did that range test at the park that I was talking to you about, and Sonic 95.5 FM doesn't come in at all. Not even 95 Triple X either, just static. Ah well, it's fine. Can't have everything with a 1-watt transmitter, but on some days I feel that it acts more like a 1.5-watt transmitter, like tonight. I guess it all depends on the weather too, I don't know.

Sunday, I watched a few episodes of Kitchen Nightmares and any furry videos that do appear on YouTube that I'd want to watch. I switch between Auxiliary and Sonic 95.5 when I find something good on YouTube. Yes, it cuts me listening to the show on 1st Wave quite a bit shorter, but I like YouTube as well and I don't want to use my walkman to let me listen to the station while I watch content on YouTube. I have most of the Saturday Night Safety Dance's songs on my laptop anyway. I just listen to the show on Saturday nights into Sunday mornings for ambience. The afternoon came and my dad took me up north for some pizza. It was a beautiful day late in the afternoon and I wrote Boomer from the pizza place since I had WiFi. Now going back down to Montreal, I saw some geese going by. We took secondary roads coming up, but we took to highway to go back down again. Tonight, like always, I will be waiting eagerly for my shows to start. I was DJing for myself both ways, when heading up and then coming back down. I really have a good pair of headphones for me to listen to music - Sennheizer! Now back at home, I am watching a movie that I wanted to remind myself to watch via my Sonic Scratchpad known as my main wallpaper for the house. The movie is called "While She Was Out", a 2008 movie. After the movie was done, I had a few vlogs to watch on YouTube, and then read what Boomer sent to me, and we both like talking about radio quite often. He was barking to me something about why they had the FM transmitter that I have marked as having 108.5 FM as a frequency. Now, I know that this is not a real frequency, but they want to avoid jealousy between radio stations meaning that if there is a station like let's say 97.3 FM that is on the box and there's another station like 94.5 FM that is wondering why the heck that their station's frequency is not displayed on the box, there's going to be a problem, and this is why they used a fictitious FM frequency. And this is what I replied to him...

"Yeah, that sort of does make sense, but like my station, Sonic is on 95.5 MHz, but I also made up some call letters that I couldn't find anywhere else in the country as yet... CHDG. C is the normal start to call letters in Canada, HDG is just my way of abbreviating "Hedgehog", so in reality 95.5 FM is called Sonic Hedgehog, heh. This station is privately owned by me, so any unused radio station frequency that I can acquire will make me very happy because way back when I didn't have Sirius and just had my XM receiver that emitted a signal to radios, Sonic 95.5 was just used for that... but now that I am happily owning a FM transmitter, I feel like I can transmit almost anything on Sonic, but preferably it should only be for music, but I do broadcast the Saturday Night Safety Dance, The Rabbit Hole, Radiolawn, and Doggy Radio shows on the station now, and that does help me quite a bit, because whenever I have to go to the bathroom for whatever reason during these shows, I can just power up the radio that I have in the bathroom, put it on 95.5 FM, and listen to whatever show I have assigned to the station. Yes, even my neighbors can listen in as well."
