Mini Hedgie with a Bloggy on Doggy July 18, 2016

Hi everyone! I just want to tell you all how much fun I am having at the blues festival this weekend.

Starting on Friday, my dad and I arrived over here not too late in the afternoon and I went to a large pond, and I couldn't believe my ears because most FM radio stations were like interfered with 2 or even 3 radio stations since there are signals bouncing off the mountain. Also, there were some stations that were coming from the Gulf states - Alabama and Mississippi. I was really astonished!

I hope you guys are having a good upcoming week!

Addendum:

I am broadcasting on 96.1 FM, but it's not called Sonic, it's called Tremblant FM.

Today I was able to top out my walkman's temperature at 122°F under the sun. I was listening to 96.1 Tremblant FM at the lake. It was coming in good despite the transmitter being only 1 watt. It was in mono, but that's because I wasn't near the vicinity of the transmitter, but still I am really impressed because the lake isn't exactly that near to the hotel, but it isn't far either. There's an even larger lake on the other side of the lake, even farther from the hotel, and for sure I won't be able to receive the signal.

I do have IDs for each frequency that I use, but I do it live, on the microphone. I lower the music that I play on the transmitter via VLC players, and I pull up the Microphone setting, click on the 'Listen' tab and then put a check mark on 'Listen to this device', and then I talk, and when I'm finished talking, I uncheck 'Listen to this device' and returned the volume on my VLC players back to normal.

This has been JaSonic Hedgehog reporting from Mont-Tremblant for Doggy Radio.
