My vacation blogging continues...
TUESDAY, August 22nd - I am using my mini notebook laptop that my dad gave to me, so this is my 3rd laptop. I've installed my Sonic cursors already on this one since Windows 10 was installed and was upgraded from Windows 7, and with flying colors. There's no hiccups whatsoever with this laptop and I'm glad. At like 11:40am, I have been watching puppy compilation videos on YouTube on my main laptop, so it's strange that I am writing this blog for Doggy Radio while I am watching the compilation.
WEDNESDAY, August 23rd - I'm now in Vermont, going to Stowe until Friday. My dad and I will be at a very nice Austrian-like hotel named "Innsbruck Inn at Stowe". I'll write more later.
FRIDAY, August 25th - Skipping Thursday because it was what I usually do on a short road trip. Came back to Montreal in the afternoon and am just glued on CNN because of the continuing coverage of Hurricane Harvey. What's interesting about that is that we have a hamburger restaurant over here called "Harvey's" and they make really good hamburgers there.
SATURDAY, August 26th - Got up nice and easy at around 11am and watched a bit of the now-stalled Harvey, which has been downgraded to a Tropical Storm as I am sitting at my friend's place this afternoon at 5pm. I was preparing to come to my friend's place at likw 4pm and now I am typing up this blog still on my notebook. Crickets are chirping, water is constantly running at a nearby small pond, life can't get anymore better than this... it's overcast as well. I don't know if my dad and I will stay over for supper.
SUNDAY, August 27th - Today, I got up nice and easy, watched a few episodes of Perfect Strangers, and then my dad and I went to my cousin's place where I was DJing for about 2 hours before supper while we were all around the table talking. Supper was great! Beef with veggies, and boy was the beef ever so tender! After supper, as I told my cousins, I got my bathing suit, put it on, and went for a swim in my cousin's heated pool, and the water was 90 degrees. I think I stayed until around 8:30pm, and then I got into the spa, and that was equally as relaxing. Got dressed up again and then came home. CNN didn't have coverage of that historic flooding in Houston, but I did search on the Flvto Radio app on my computer for radio stations in Houston and I came to 88.7 FM, KUHF, News 88.7, and that's what I am doing right now. No furry programming tonight because I can't buy any Diet Pepsi or other stuff because of insufficient money. Have to wait until next week's furry programming from Sunday into Monday since I will have more money.
On Tuesday, I will be going up north again as a 3rd small vacation and then will be going to Ottawa and then come back to Montreal. And, by the way, I hope everyone in the southern Texas area is being safe for the upcoming days. By the way, Sunday night into Monday, at midnight, I just learned that the 88.7 FM station that I am listening to is a NPR station. I have confirmed it using RadioStationWorld.
